I finally watched with subs

Spoiler

I like Hwang now. She finally snapped out of it. She’ll live with regret but at least she is now redeeming herself, working with her team etc. I guess the drama sort of explains why OHJ and Hwang couldn’t easily arrest The Guy, he was going to get help from higher authorities anyway ,so they needed to set a proper trap (and of course they were pursuing their own agenda and mistrusting each other so that didn’t help at all) Finally detective Yang’s wish came true and the team is working together  with OHJ still being a sort of rogue element but OHJ is OHJ, we can’t expect much more from him

Interested to see what is the past connection between OHJ and KYH

I can’t wait to watch tomorrow’s episode!

It’s interesting how OHJ’s sticks gradually became a knife..Like I can’t see properly where are those sticks?!

I sound like I’m obsessed with those sticks. But no..I’m just curious

I thought he turned into Wolverine or Edward Scissorhands for a moment. I can now imagine JH playing a mutant/vigilante/superhero

hihi He would fit well in that genre and got my support.  Sometime I imagine he can take sunglasses off and shoot lasers or something out of his eyes.

Me me! And not even a trace of blood! Come on, it is not even an ordinary car, it is one for transporting prisoners, so the windows must even be harder than normal right? Yet OHJ smashed it with his bare hands without a trace of blood and even managed to remove it in a single piece haha..

But never mind, we get the point he is incredible hulk. Anyway one last ep to go, so treasure it.

ah... I was referring to the fact that JH obviously was hitting the glass for real full force with his fist. The glass was obviously cracked from the crash, but you can see JH was actually hitting it. Not OHJ. It's not OHJ that is the hulk, it's JH :) . If you look at JH's knuckles as he placed her on the ground, you'd notice they were actually bruised... It's not the first time he did something like that. In BM he also was punching a metal door full force with his fist, and in Robbers he hit a punching bag bare handed. Later in the episode you saw he had real scabs on his knuckles, meaning he tore the skin punching the bag like that...

After watching with subs, I have this feeling that

Spoiler

OHJ might have been the one handling the case when KYH first killed someone for the doll. That's why KYH has OHY old name card. Maybe he said something to KYH and that also caused his mum to kill herself?  Because nothing much was shown in KYH's flashback except him killing someone for the doll and his mum killing herself after that...I really dunno.

Arghhh...can't wait to watch tonight . .should I watch it raw or with subs the next day? Always  a dilemma.  But no more such dilemma next week....I'm so sad..:bawling:

To be frank..

Spoiler

The flashback of the doll part, it was never actually shown that he murdered the kid. Someone could very well just do it and pass the doll to him and left..

At the same time, why that elementary school though? My take would be..something happened between OHJ & KYH when they were in that elementary school ( when OHJ ask Hwang where she is, it immediately cuts away from OHJ, I think there is a little more to it in the scene.)

@Sushimi

Yes, except

Spoiler

OHJ is supposed to be much older than KYH right? I hope they don’t make it seem that they went to elementary school together :P

@azureblue7 noticed how when he used his knife, he always cut the arm aww:lol:

Spoiler

Maybe KYH is doing all this to stimulate OHJ? He already like..Are you going to kill Hwang? Or you killed her already? Being affirmed that OHJ is able to commit a murder..then like he is sort of nice to OHJ? Afterwards here he is saying “Aw..I want to kill OHJ...” boy...make up your mind what you want?!:joy:

Eww. ... he is like his friend...

Spoiler

Remember his friend went, "so this is how it feels like to be choked, come on choke me more"  to OHJ? Maybe he wants to be tortured by OHJ too? I want to see how OHJ can do to him!

Season 2 or prequel ? Maybe he will feel happier.

I love how honest JH is... For him to say that there is a lot to be desired is rare, because he said in the past that when he finishes a show he usually moves on immediately. Looks like here he is not so quick to move on... It's clear that like us he wanted to delve even more into the psychology of OHJ, but this is an OCN show with the director of Voice- there is a limit to the amount of depth they can do! :) Oh, I would so love a prequel or a season 2... I'm thinking if JH really wants that, he has time now to maybe try and make that happen, since he probably won't have another show for a while with the COVID-19 and all. Maybe talk to the production and ask them to develop another season with them. I think he actually can do it, if he wanted! Yesterday, I was trying for hours to watch the raw episode, but it lagged so much, that I gave up. I guess that means that many other people were trying to do the same... I hope that the total numbers of the show would justify another season. I want to see OHJ alive and butt kicking! :)

As to the fighting scene- I swear that it was too fast! I think next time they need to start filming him in slow motion! Seriously, it was just too fast. I actually have been rewatching his fight scenes in slow motion in order to be able to appreciate it all...

Though I don't remember seeing this move in the actual scene...

This is interesting. After watching ep15 i realized that KDS aka the Guy have used other demented guys like KSH, his two friends from the orphanage to do his killings. He may have also been controlling JSG.

I wonder. Maybe there will be, considering that the gyms are open in Korea. Maybe they will do a small party. Maybe even outside...

Also, Kang Dong-sik, who said, "When will our red threads be connected," who even kept Hyun-jae's  old business cards, adding another question to their relationship.

It's not over until it's over," he added. "Please watch together what will come at the end, including the relationship between the Hyun-jae and the 'The Guy' ahead of the final showdown, Soo-young trying to prevent a tragedy from occuring again, and team leader Hwang who wants to bring him to justice."

Everyone worked hard," he said. "I think I'll remember this with a lot of good memories. He added that he thanked the viewers for their enthusiastic support of the work despite the difficult circumstances.

◆ Ryu Seung-soo, "I met another unforgettable character in my career.”

Ryu Seung-soo said, "How did time pass by so quickly?" Encouraged by viewers for his role as Yang Man-soo, a detective who was the link between the team members' bond and emotions, he recalled "I met another unforgettable character in my career." He added, "Not only the actors, but also production staff, crew, and many others who worked hard to prepare for this winter's drama. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me. Please stay with us until the end of the final episode," he said.

◆ Eum Moon-seok, "A meaningful shoot, rewarding and proud."

Eum Moon-seok played Kang Dong-sik, a friendly and pleasant policeman who gave everyone a huge shock by being the peppermint killer "The Guy," said, "It was challenging playing a psychopath and sociopath. It was hard, but I really learned a lot, and every moment was meaningful, and I am proud of it" he said. "I'm grateful to everyone who's been with me until the end. Although I still have room for improvement, I will continue to work hard to show many different sides of me".
