I am a Potterhead, LOL). I love how Songhwa support whatever Jeongwon's decision and she secretly support his love to Gyeowool  And this makes me guess that maybe Jeongwon also know about complex relationship of Ikjun & Songhwa in the past. *Okay Jeongwon! It's time for you to help Ikjun getting Songhwa's heart back. You owned Ikjun a big debt *.

Anyway, I didn't watch full episode yet, can anyone here please give spoiler whether Iksun really go to England or not?

 

I do think Andrea reason to stay not only because of Winter. His last case, the girl, was the reason. To think that accident from riding kid scooter can cause that much fatalities, imagine if no pediatric surgeon doctor available what would happen to that girl. I did my research and to date there are 4.456 catholic priest in South Korea. In drama was mention that pediatric surgeon in SK so rare, only 48 people including Andrea. So having the girl and her mom visit him in christmas eve give Andrea some kind of a sign from God. There enough Catholic priest in South Korea already. His staying as a rare specialist, can be seen as his way of service to God too. He already decided for himself before Winter confession.

 

I have a male bestfriend from highschool. He once said to me that I was his first crush at one point. As for me, I only see him as best friend. We still good friend till this day, and I do help him with a some important stuff when he was preparing his wedding to his current wife. So I can see that even Andrea ever had a crush on Song Hwa (which is just speculation, never revealed in drama), he choose friendship and become true best friend who support each other for 20 years. Same with Seok Hyung. Happen to me too in real life. Agree with you that Andrea Song Hwa kinda remind us of Harry and Hermione dynamic.

 

Iksun really go to England. But Jun Wan coudn't see her off due to an emergency surgery.

I'M GOING CRAZY!!! WINTER GARDEN WAAAHHHHHHH!!! 

I'm still on a high! Oh my lord! Congratulations WinterGarden!!! It was tough but we held on! It was so worth it!!! The slowest burn everrrr was SO WORTH IT!

 

I can't seem to form coherent thoughts and words. My hands are too shaky to type or even to do gifs. But wow!!! Jeongwon kissed our Gyeoul! Oh my lord!!!!!!! Honestly, I was just aiming for a dinner scene but they gave me much much more than I hoped for. Oh my what a wonderful night! I guess I won't be sleeping much. I just can't wait for season 2 and see Jeongwon and Gyeoul as a couple. I'm off to watch it again... ahem the kiss 

This is a first for the both of them, right??? Yoo Yeon Seok is definitely a kiss master. Kuddos to Yoo Yeon Seok and Shin Hyun Bin for giving us such a heartwarming scene, I felt all the repressed emotions and all the love!

Hahahaha I expected her to be wide eyed like that, but Jeong won seems too experienced for a virgin. LOL. Actually after the flashbacks she also opened her mouth and closed her eyes, it was such a satisfying kiss. EEEEEEEE. But I wish they gave her a stool or something, YYS had to tilt his neck too much, poor guy must have got a back pain after shooting that scene. Hahahaha

Ikr?!? She was crying. He was crying seeing her crying. And I was crying along with them too. LOL. This scene was so beautifully done. YYS and SHB really did justice to their characters. Especially YYS portrayal of Jeong won in that scene who is finally releasing all his pent up emotions through that kiss.....wahhhh. @superspace He is not only the master of kissing, he is the master of acting too. I have watched YYS in other dramas, but AJW's character made me a lifelong fan of him.

I was just thinking, it's an absolutely happy ending for Winter Garden, but what if ... They'll treat him badly on the next season like what they almost did to Junghwan that he was gonna be die in a plane crash? We still don't know yet the truth of Jeongwon's headache but knowing he got a headache for several times it might be a dangerous disease. Im rly afraid they'll make a sad ending for Winter Garden in the next season because they've done fed us the happiness for it in this season

No I want Gyeo Ul to start call him "Oppa!" This reminds me of Kim Mi So when Park Seo Joon tried so hard to get her call Oppa.

{Disclaimer : Haven't watched ep 12 yet, analyzed just by reading co-writers' posts}

What did I just see? From the point where I was constantly praying for no heart breaks for my dear Gyeoulaaa, to that kiss. Ground swept under my feet, my heart skipped a beat, and I froze just like her..... (though I feel like, she should have reciprocated, if not while he was kissing her, but at least when he hugged her...)

As many of you have mentioned, that it feel detached, nothing gradual, as we don't know exactly how and when he fell for her, so damn hardly. No doubt we would be seeing some beautiful daughter-in-law and mother-in-law seen between JGW and Mama Rosa...

**Note - Someone mentioned in his/her post, that it is Jwon's 2nd attempt on love life? which one is the first?

Now coming to IJ-SH, as they didn't reveal her first crush, I'm afraid it is NOT IJ... [Let's pray for IJ till next episode]

Somethings which I found unresilved for this season are - (if anyone knows please tell)

1. Hawaii ??? What they hell did happen there.....?

2. Now that JGW and Jwon are confirmed to be together, what about the abusive father case (he did say, he will get back at Jwon)? I assumed that the climax of that will trigger the feelings of Jwon for JGW !!

3. There was no background story developed for the side leads (and what to say about them, background of Jwon, IJ amd SongHwa were also not elaborated..., only chaebols were highlighted...) I really hope we get to know them more in season 2...

4. Also I didn't see any interaction between the love interests of the fab 5. Only IJ was conversing with others, none of the others showed any interest in there love life. Whyeo?

Will write more after watching the whole episode... Till then keep posting and shower your love to our dear HP team. Let this fire ignited by the last episode not die easily, as it will take an year to re-ignite that....

Summarise but might miss out on some parts. Massive Spoilers

  • SHwa ask Ahn do not follow her and it will affect his progress.
  • SHyeong's Dad left everything to him, want him to quit and take over his business. Only see his mistress as a long term caretaker. Mom scold him for being selfish and make her pregnant.
  •  During surgery, the anesthesiologist ask how the girl got hurt and her parents must be sad, then Winter's stomach growl and he commented the same thing of parents being sad cuz their daughter is too busy to even have the time to eat. He said he will treated her before mentioning JWon should treat as he seen them together in surgery often recently. JWon said he will treat her after the girl's condition is better
  • IJ having meal with Min-ha and realised she liked SHyeong when he did not even ask her to help with his paper.
  • SHwa helped Dragon by leaving him and Seobin behind and bringing the rest along with her.
  • JWon apologise for passing the baton of Long Legged Uncle to SHwa and ask her to rest well when she moved to Sokcho while he will take care of it but SHwa insisted on handling it.
  • SHyeong visited IJ's room, IJ told him does he know Min-ha seem to like him. Shyeong knew and is not interested. He wanted her to give up and find someone better. He had no motivation to be in love at this moment and furthermore he is a divorcee and had complicated family background. So IJ replied him, if taking away these factors he would dated her but SHyeong insisted he had no motivation now. IJ just kept advising him to consider but SHyeong afraid Min-ha will get hurt
  • JWan was leaving the hospital when Iksun surprised him. OF COURSE, everyone knew what happened next.
  • JWan missed out on the sending off after treating of the critical patient who has excessive bleeding which could not be stopped. 
  • SHyeong had to break the unfortunate new of her foetus heart had stopped beating to the patient, despite the earlier complaint of long wait for consultation, with the crying, other mothers-to be understood what happened.
  • IJ managed to do a successful liver transplant for the patient from ep11 after the original recipient could not have the transplant. In flashback, the wife had requested IJ to inform the family that she is not suitable regardless of the test results.
  • SHwa encountered a patient who had the same name as her patient when she was in 4th year residency. Yoon Bok asked for the name and realised SHwa was the doctor years ago. Guess NS had gained a new resident.
  • The cop from earlier episode gift Ahn a pen and encourage him.
  • SHwa and Jwon having coffee together and she asked if he has anything to said before giving approval on whatever he had in his mind right now. JWon said SHwa is like a ghost who know everything.
  • SHwa said there are three types of people on earth, 1st type is people who feel blessed when having delicious foods eg. IJ and Jwan, 2nd type is people who feel the food is delicious when having it alone eg. SHyeong, 3rd type is JWon, someone who feel very happy/blessed when seeing someone enjoying his/her food happily. (literal translation from mandarin). JWon denied it while SHwa insisted he is. JWon just gave a smile.
  • JWan only realised he missed the sending off after IJ mentioned the timing and Iksun should be on the plane already. JWan look disappointed while staring at Iksun messages and the rings.
  • Jae Hak came to look for JWan and he tried to chase him out before asking him to head out with him together. Jae Hak does all the talking while JWan stares into space. JWan asked whether he should send the ring to Iksun as Xmas gift despite that she does not like these kind of gift, Jae Hak told him to ask her and find out since both of them love one another.
  • Some father and son scene before JWan on the phone with Iksun and mailing the ring to her.
  • Yoon Bok can feel that Dragon is interested in Seo Bin and attempt to leave the room while pretending to be on the phone.
  • SHwa was surprised that IJ turned up at Sokcho and IJ said he has 5 hours before mentioning that he had something on his mind and seek her advice. OF COURSE, everyone knew what happened next. Another subtle confession. 
  • Ahn moved to a place closer to Yulje as he is chief resident the following year. Read a letter from SHwa where SHwa informed him on things to take note of while he have flashback of time with SHwa.
  • SHyeong decided not to take over the business and he wanna do his own things without wasting time. That why he wanna formed a band and claimed that he make used of them
  • Singing of OST part 12 and some patients scene for the 4 male leads.
  • Gift was returned to JWan due to unknown recipient.
  • Winter asked JWon not to leave and confessed to him. OF COURSE, everyone knew what happened next. It was love at first sight. In flashback, JWon also ran to her after hearing about her being in the observation ward at emergency center. In the flashback where SHwa mentioned about three types of people, she asked JWon to stay and he mentioned not to inform the other 1st as he wanna inform someone 1st. SHwa just smiled and open the window and said winter is coming while JWon smiled to himself. In yet another flashback, JWan open JWon drawer and saw that all his Bibles and other stuffs had disappeared. He knew what is going on.
  • Min-ha tried to ask SHyeong out but got rejected before SHyeong's ex-wife called him.

   

   

Things to look out for in Season 2

• SHwa answer and her r/s with IJ (Might had answered but not shown in finale since they were at band practice after IJ returned from Spain)
• SHyeong r/s with Min-ha and how his ex-wife might played an important role
• JWan r/s with Iksun (rumour of Kwak Sun-young not appearing in Season 2 - not confirmed, saw on Weibo)
• JWon r/s with Winter after their Xmas 1st kiss.

Things to do tmr

• Wait for OST Part 12 on YT and Spotify.
• Rewatch finale on Netflix
• Wait for reviews, reactions and analysis on the web

The moment when Ikjun told Songhwa his feeling is a warm moment for me. It is a good start and I believe Songhwa wouldn't feel burdened by his words. She seems quite happy and I love to see them in Season 2. I want the best for Songhwa and Ikjun knows her well, so why not? 

 

But Seokmin and Seonbin is my new favorite couple. When they "sleep together" in the coffee shop, I know they have a more than good relationship as sunbae hoobae. Seokmin always tease Seonbin. Aaand Seokmin confession is so sweet, I smile and repeat their scenes again and again, aaah I love how this drama made it so relatable. 

 

The other scenes also are really good stories, I can't explain it one by one. But one thing for sure, I love Hospital Playlist so much. 

 

I will watch this episode again and I think maybe I will watch all those 12 episodes over and over again until Season 2 comes .

@Ameera Ali if nothing else GW might be wearing contact lenses in S2. I might have not shipped but it is still a relief there was a resolution.

 

Darn. I woke up read 2 pages of spoilers. And have to sleep again. Without watching. The translation for the IJ scene confused me. I will just watch it afterwards.

 

In fact might rewatch  the whole series. I always miss stuff from this writer/PD and always have to rewatch. I am so relieved most of all that SH accepted love rather than passively obeyed his mother.

I doubt that ShinPD wanna make a tribute to  “The Classic”. He put 2 songs; Canon in D and Me to you, you to me. And some little moments in IkSong’s reminds me of the movie 

 

- 2 buddies love a girl. When the boy knows that his friend also loves her, he fade away. 

- When the boy and the girl have their moments, it’s raining. Raining scenes being used in the past and present. It’s an iconic scene, special umbrella.

- The theme of the movie: The first love.

I too think that is a possibility, since Winter garden shippers are on cloud nine right now, and it will make a great twist to start off the next season with Winter and garden on opposite ends, if not a life-death drama. (though I too personally want this devastation to not happen....)

And if we think of something more positive, it can be professional and personal conflicts (which too I think has a slight chance, since both can be seen to be madly in love with each other and understanding in nature personality wise + Jwon  has his squad on his back)

Whatsoever, but I am having this intuition that something is gonna happen to them (won't be an easy ride for Winter Gardeners next season) - JUST A PREDICTION, DON'T TAKE IT TOO HARD..
