There is one IG Post from one of min ho fan account that has a screen shot of when “the king would be aired” and it is July 31st. 

I have to have URL link to post pic on this forum, and I can’t really do it on my phone.

The shooting scene for the SBS "The King: the Eternal Monarch" drama starring actors Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun has been spotted at the Cheonsan Cathedral in Daegu.

From around 7 a.m. today, the Sanctuary Cathedral in Daegu was crowded with staff preparing to shoot "The King: The Eternal Monarch" drama. Filming earlier in the day consisted of footage of Lee Min-ho and his bodyguards exiting the Cathedral by vehicle. Actor Woo Do-hwan also appeared on the set.

Later in the day, he will film a funeral mass inside the church. The shooting is expected to last until around 6 p.m.

Korean Drama Lovers In The U.S. Are Very Fond Of Romantic Comedies

What’s love got to do with it? As the approach of Valentine’s Day inspires thoughts of romantic love, a new survey points out that love has a lot to do with Korean drama preferences. In the recently released Consumer Research Report on Korean Contents in the U.S. Market by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), 59% of the surveyed Korean drama viewers in the U.S. said that romantic comedies were their favorite genre.

KOCCA, a governmental agency that researches the Korean contents business, found that in the U.S. there has been a gradual increase in k-drama viewers and the number of viewers who have watched k-dramas for more than three years has also increased.

Among the top 10 k-dramas chosen by viewers in the U.S., seven were produced by Studio Dragon. Given the popularity of romantic comedies, Studio Dragon plans more romance for 2020, including The King, starring Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun.
