“The King: The Eternal Monarch” is a fantasy romance drama about two parallel universes—one resembling modern-day Korea and the other where Korea is under a monarchy. It will tell the story of Emperor Lee Gon (played by Lee Min Ho) and Detective Jung Tae Eul (played by Kim Go Eun) who work together between the two universes to protect life, people, and love.

The drama is written by Kim Eun Sook, who has penned hits such as “Heirs,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”

Kim Kyung Nam will portray Kang Shin Jae, a man who has lived as anyone other than himself since his father was arrested for embezzlement while running a small business. He suffers from ongoing nightmares which led him to become a detective. Ok... so far the cast is awesome... Whenever Kim Eun Sook start a project all will be good... the cast...the story line... the bromance (that will always be missed even after the drama end), the second lead male that will always win our heart, and don't forget the OSTs..remember hpw OST DOTS are tops the melon chart once..... Kim Eun Sook project can always amaze us with all of those.... except the ending.... after a great storyline the rollercoster riding during episode... the ending will leave me comment.. "okay... the end...".

 

In Kim Eun Sook I trust... I trust she will make a great ending in this one especially this is a fantasy romance with parallel universe theme.
