“Welcome 2 Life” Stays Strong At No. 1 + “Moments Of 18” Enjoys Rise In Ratings

The battle for Monday-Tuesday drama viewership ratings remains as close as ever!

 

On September 3, MBC’s “Welcome 2 Life” continued its reign as the most-watched drama of Tuesday night. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the drama scored average nationwide ratings of 4.0 percent and 4.9 percent for its two parts, marking a slight increase from the night before.

 

JTBC’s “Moments of 18” also saw a rise in its viewership ratings, with its September 3 episode scoring an average rating of 3.808 percent nationwide. Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Great Show” stayed steady with an average rating of 3.0 percent—the same rating that it achieved the night before—and a peak of 3.6 percent for the evening.

 

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “I Wanna Hear Your Song” trailed with average nationwide ratings of 2.4 percent and 2.5 percent for its two parts.

I am happy with how the story is moving.  I really feel sorry for jae sang especially the scene in his penthouse where he cried for bot Si On and Bo Na.  I have to admit i really miss the little girl :cry: 

 

i am hoping that he will redeem himself and get Si On back or better still go back to his parallel world and be with his family.

*** On September 2, 2019, another presscon was held for "Welcome 2 Life" - The PD revealed at the press conference that Rain studied so hard for his parts that his script had all fallen apart. He prepared well in advance. If Director Kim wanted to have 3 takes, he will show 3 different ways of his acting. There are more than (80) extras in the drama. He will get them to his waiting room and do the rehearsal with them. He guided and encouraged them and eased-up their nervousness. So when the actual shooting took place everyone was acting very naturally & shooting went very smoothly. :P

I don't think he can go back to the parallel world anymore because he is out of coma now, that parallel world helped him realize what his true life goal is. Now he is back in the real world and he has to work his way up and turn that dream into reality.

I really hope not because it is too soon to leave the alternate world. 

I suspect:

He runs into a roadblock in investigation in roadblock. Gets into coma again and goes back to alternate. In alternate, he finds her dead and he uses his 1st world knowledge to help advance 2nd world then gains knowledge from 2nd to solve 1st world.

 

I think some of the key facts for him is to figure out the connection between the mayor and the biotech guy. Maybe the biotech guy is the murderer? he looked young...

 

And i felt Bona begging for her life at the hammer scene is out of character. She is portrayed as a tough woman and should've gone as one....

Yes I agree but what will happen to his daughter Bona if he doesn’t return??  Maybe Bona in the future saw what could happen to her if her parents broke off so she created the parallel world?? haha  just wondering

Yeah I like the idea of JS going back to his alternate reality but there are only 6 eps left.  It means JS has only limited drama time to solve many things in the present world.   Now Dong Take openly confessed his feelings to SO.  JS can’t waste any more time before he loses her permanently.

Yeah I also felt something was off about SO's begging.  Why she acted like a damsel in distress?? She is supposed to be a tough woman. 
It will be interesting to see how the writer handles these two parallel worlds.

Whaha another a good episode  :kiss_wink:  Gosh I forgot SO’s niece was supposed to looked exactly like Bona.  So it may be SO’s dead niece who brought JS into a parallel world?  Today’s episode started with JS promising to SO’s niece that he would protect SO and find the culprit.   Then he moved into a house right next to SO. JS didn’t waste any time.  He knew what he had to do.  A smart man   He definitely deserves a second chance with SO.   Besides watching over SO and trying to capture the culprit, JS doesn’t forget he has serious competition from Dong Take.  haha  
I like Dong Take but SO appears to have more chemistry with JS.  It’s so fun to watch how desperate JS was with SO.  :sweat_smile::naughty:

Hi booha, thanks for sharing this. I'm happy that the drama topped the charts. The figures dropped and increased at the same time but it was the highest rating for the drama of the day with same time slot. :P

“Welcome 2 Life” has protected its No. 1 spot in Monday-Tuesday drama viewership ratings!

 

According to Nielsen Korea, the September 9 broadcast of MBC’s “Welcome 2 Life” scored 3.8 percent and 5.1 percent in viewership ratings for its two parts. Compared to last week’s broadcast, this is a 0.2 percent drop for the first part but a 0.2 percent rise in the second part.

 

JTBC’s “Moments of 18” achieved viewership ratings of 3.7 percent nationwide and 4.6 percent in the metropolitan areas. Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Great Show” recorded a viewership ratings of 2.5 percent, which is a 0.5 percent drop from last week’s broadcast.

 

Furthermore, KBS 2TV’s “I Wanna Hear Your Song” increased in viewership ratings from last week, recording 2.8 percent and 3.4 percent for its two parts.

What a mess. He just killed his stepmother:crazy: to cover for his and his father's tracks. Not to mention, his first victim was his own mother. Was she an escort? Don't tell me the reason why he chooses and kills these women is because they are in the service. Because if that is the case, then he is sick in the head.

The step son is a psycho.  My hubby and I pretty much suspected that the killer is him even in the parallel world.  On another note, i am glad Dong Taek is taking a step back from Si On.  

 

Jae Sang is really missing Bo Na and his life in the parallel world.  I am curious how it will end, is he going to ‘sacrifice’ himself hoping to go back or end up with Si On but no Bo Na as yet or the both world will some what merge?  We only have 2 more weeks :bawling:
