Loved the beautiful ending SO MUCH!  My heart is really full - I applaud the writer as well, she tied things up and eased the OTP's reality on us very well.

So pleased with the handcuff scene - he told her his words in episode 15 broke his heart too and they cleared that up.  The writer is so good to us, no ambiguous nonsense!

How do you guys know that RJH escorts the young pianists to Switzerland once a year?  I didn't pick up on that, but it makes sense since he was the one watching the pianist?  Hope that's a stable job!

I do think the ending is once a year they meet in Switzerland for 2 weeks.  With SR being so rich it is likely that she bought out the vacation house and that's why they can keep their photos and belongings in the house when no one is living there.  Sort of like how rich people own cabins by the lake and go on vacation in the summertime staying there.

The only "k-drama" esque part about it is RJH found her paragliding at the exact moment she landed lol - it's okay all good.

Knowing that SR got the text messages for 1 year is great but knowing that RJH got nothing for 1 year is heartbreaking - I feel so bad for him - so when he said to her (in Switzerland) ... the place I have been yearning for every morning and night, it really hit hard!

Ah, CLOY was so lovely just like Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.  Their chemistry is SO powerful that I could not tell the Swiss scenes were filmed first.  I felt RJH and SR's pain and happiness through all their ending scenes.  (And how lovely that they sat beside each other at the wrap up party?  Not all leads do this!).

I won't be watching the drama again for a while - best as it is, it's too much of a ride, they went through soo much, it's too much to re-live even though I know they have a happy ending.

I love this drama so much!! The ending is bittersweet. It’s happy ending although still open ending a bit. It‘s not like they are really settling down, but I guess they meet more than only 2 weeks. For sure it‘s the two weeks. But is he living in Switzerland or just come also for 2 weeks?

The thing is the house they are staying in the final scene has their pictures. Seems odd if we put pictures in a villa that we rent. :D So I assume that RJH stays there.

They really already had the ending filmed in Switzerland. I remember there was discussion about SeRi with her floral dress. We don’t see babies. But we see them together. that’s the important part!

Btw how come CCG and RJH‘s dad can send and receive information between NK and SK?

My interpretation with the 2 weeks vacation is not once a year. But, 2 weeks in a month. Remember secretary Hong said to SR, you are not Heidi why do you always go there. Heidi was a fictional name of a girl who lived in Swtizerland. She lived in a mountains with her grandfather. Then, secr hong said that they need to see who is the man that SR’s dating.

so, for me CLOY ending similarlt like MLTFS such as they live together in the same roof, and can only meet from some amount time. I think JH is not stay longer than SR, cause CS said their ‘not anymore’ captain just departed at the time around SR leaving. So, for their lovey dovey meeting they need a house right? They don’t need to rent it, but of course, they have bought it!

They didn't show the twins but maybe they'll give that to us IRL so it's alright There's no conclusion but I still love the ending!

I sleep at 9PM ish but I hit the sack at around 4AM since CLOY started and I'm glad I'll now be able to go back to my routine.:)

I literally have no words to explain my feelings for this drama. Truly a very, very, very beautiful and spectacular drama. Out of all the dramas I've watched, I must say that CLOY is one of the most well-made, most well-wrapped, and has 'the best ending' drama. Though this drama still can't beat my number 1 & 2 spots Scarlet Heart (still a sucker for tragedy), and Reply 1988, CLOY has taken up my number 3 spot. I think this drama just set a high expectation for the future! (Goblin writer, please take note how to make a better ending ;) (sorry not sorry))

Was actually screaming with disappointment after watching the ending (paragliding scene). THANK GOD that that's not the real ending lol. The real ending though.... SR in their home and then JR's arms... such a beautiful scene.I will definitely re-watch this for another hundred times. My heart is full and warm, literally. Big congratulations, thanks, and sugohaessoyo writer-him, PD-nim, all casts and staffs.

See you comrades.

P.S. I love Rat's new job: cleansing his ear with nature's beauty!!!

P.S.S. And will forever have a special place for SD in my heart. You go girl!

P.S.S.S. I don't expect Hyun Bin and Ye Jin to be in a relationship for real, but at the same time would wait for an article of them confirming their relationship lol.

That’s how I understood it as well. That at some point they have settled in Switzerland after their  2-week annual meetups. That lovely house looked more than a vacation house with their photos.

I'm still too groggy and shaky to replay the whole episode but the fortune teller (to Dan's mom and uncle) said something like Seo Dan lost her man three years ago? If I remember it correctly, the this is probably the settling down/making babies part.

I honestly would have been very happy if there were pictures of twin girls in one of the frames. Greedy, greedy me.

Or, if the in epilogue scene, before SR looks up at RJH for a kiss, she rubs her belly with a little bump - THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT.  Yea still some things to work out at that point but they'll make it work!!!

JH is from an elite class in NK so there are ways for him to see Seri more eventually. Seri is super rich and can actually travel whenever she wants since she is her own boss so this ending really is not that bittersweet. They will wait for things to be more stable before thinking of having children so putting the kids in the end would have been a bit too much but the fact that they already got their own home there is a sign that they are building a common future.

Guys, the ending is perfect.
He found a legal way to leave NK for long term time. He did not run, escape or betrayed his parents.
They have own a property there. A family house. They settled down there.

And what is important he did it legally. He got a new job.

And most time of the year he lives comfortably abroad.

Maybe he also attends other countries with his students  concerts.
No, they see each other Not 2 weeks per year. Much more often.
It is an open perfect ending in their situation.
I belive we  can definetly see that ,after Daddy Ri's death he can stay abroad forever.
Yes, they can have children for sure.

Yes I think his mom helped him get the gig - you can see the scene where the moms broke off the engagement, she had this sudden realization that she must help RJH be with the person he loves.  They probably cut out a scene showing what she did to help him.  Just a guess!

Also yes I do think having children together is still in their foreseeable future - 1000%

As I get to the end of the series, I'm speechless... Their love is beautiful... No matter how much I don't want to give in to a fantasy, I cannot help but see JH and SR as the epitome of a love that persists... when its so easy to give up than hold on.

In a world where there is constant need for validation either through words or actions or gestures, to persist without a single text... to carry each other in their hearts... to find belonging even without the presence of the loved one... and to keep holding on through time and space...

Unless this writer-nim can outdo herself and even if she does,  it'll be JH and SR for me, FOREVER! Well, at least for now, their love feels lasting... persisting and always takes them back to each other... For now, its enough I live in this dream!

What a ride comrades! Do leave breadcrumbs on where I should follow you all...

My one unfulfilled wish is Ri family rebuilding their relationship since there became a hole there since the brother died. I want Mama Ri to see once again the sweet JH she lost when his world crumbled when MH died.

I want to hear Papa Ri and JH having a conversation explicitly telling him to have a happy life and he will support him in whichever way he can. He already showed his support when he facepalmed himself out of disbelief that his son is in love. Would have been lovely to have a scene on that. So I’m just going to imagine that.

No one mentioned when Papa Ri asked JH “Is Seri alright?” Awww Director, you sweet gangster. Thank you for killing that general or whatever his position is. LOL

A bittersweet ending for SD as well. I honestly felt the writer could have given more depth to her character but she walking with her cello was the badass way to say goodbye to the show. She is what she is and she will move on. Now she had experienced being love even just for a brief time, she will hopefully get her happy ending... in season 2 perhaps?

I loved how they still used the symbol that represent Crash landing on you title, paragliding scene where seri is crash landing to ri jeong hyeok. Now i think if i would take guess this big hit and well made drama theres 2 names that came in my mind that would win daesang in baeksang award. One is writer park ji eun,how well she research this story (her collague kim eun sook of goblin dots already win) and the other one is son ye jin. Yoon seri is build well, she is not missing out just like other female lead (weak character development female lead always happen at the end of drama) and son ye jin potrays yoon se ri very well. Lets not forget capt ri by hyun bin,he also did good but he already have daesang in hand for his character in secret garden.

i want to say something about Seung Joon's death. We cannot deny the role of JH's and Seri's powerful parents in the success of their relationship. But unfortunately, as the drama highlighted in his last few scenes, Seung Joon doesnt even have a family. He doesnt have a powerful set of parents to pull the strings for another NK-SK couple to succeed.

I didnt want him to die, I wanted to see his redemption but then again, I think the writer wants to remind us of this sad fact

I am not an SJ fan but I really thought that they faked his death so he would be free of his crimes and can date SD without any problems. Come to think of it, we never saw any casket and SD didn't specifically tell JH that SJ died.

SD, being single forever? How? And most importantly, why?
