I have to say the ending is true to the writer’s style. She is known for that kind of beautiful fantasy sort of ending that lets you imagine it the way you wanna it to be.

i read somewhere that it was difficult for some actors to gather the emotions needed for a particular scene if it was not filmed in order. At this point in Switzerland at the end, they had to be filming simultaneously their meeting in the beginning as well as the ending scenes for the drama.

Usually it would be easy for emotions to build between actors as the drama progresses. The feelings of falling in love, heartbreak you go through before reconciliation.

Kudos to Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin for filming that final scene full of the passion that we saw between SeRi and Jung Hyeok throughout the 16 episodes. Something tells me that this worked because these two actors already had the chemistry from working in their previous movie together.

Honestly, with the length of each episode, these all added up to more that 20 episode altogether.

Thank you to the cast and crew and I do hope that Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin can work together again soon, if not on the small screen ,be on the big screen.

I only have two small complaints about the ending. 

1. The meeting in Switzerland once a year for 2 weeks doesn't include the ducklings! I wanted an ending where she could see them as well! 

 

2. It's a great ending if it was only about them but after JH mentioned he wanted children, I knew we wouldn't get to see the children at the ending, but I wanted to see an ending where our OTP could raise children together. Again, really liked the Switzerland ending but how will they have their twins! 

 

That's why I was somehow hoping for an ending that would leave open a possibly for a reunification or diplomatic/economic relations between the both countries. But maybe the writer couldn't show that for political reasons. We'll just have to dream like SR does in CLOY that one day the reunification will happen and everyone can have a truly happen ending. 

 

Lastly, kudos and amazing job to the cast and crew of CLOY, hope the ratings kill it for the final two episodes.

It's a beautiful ending but very vague and open ended. I knew they would do this but the good news is it leaves doors open for a second season as well. I know it cant be this year because many of them will move on to other projects, but i have a good feeling many people will express the desire to see more of this drama and Netflix/TvN will eventually come to the same conclusion that if there is one drama that deserve a second season it's this one.

After watching CLOY I've decided I have to visit Switzerland and all the places SRxJH have been to someday. This place is just too breathtaking!

Super love the ending. Decided to live together outside their native land for their love. Both their parents can freely visit them. Likewise when SR and JH can avail a swiss passport both can travel  in and out of NK and SK for business purpose and at same time visiting both their parents... What a lovely route for their destination of love.

I am so happy that the 2nd brother and his evil wife got their comeuppance! Thanks to Seo Dan who wanted revenge! I was going to throw something at the computer screen if they didn't get arrested for all their evil deeds.

 

I actually grew fond of Seri's eldest brother and his wife. Those two were a riot! Glad Seri created a job for her brother with the foundation so he can feel important and contributes to the family  business.
