Okay  the good news  that till now the fact he has CIPA  didnt make a huge  mess  as I expected  so we safe now 

I know they still has ti vote  tomorrow for him to stay or not in the hospital  but at least the reaction of his team was so good I thought it going to be more dramatic (thanks  God's) 

 

And it look his team will help him next to stay  in the hospital 

 

CYH  injured   but it look from the preview he going to be okay soon thanks God he had SY  to save him fast , 

Just still worry about that clinic that making research  on CIPA  they show it twice  so I fear they going with the open  ending of him going there to find cure  for this disease as he promised the kid ( I  will not like it ) or maybe he will surprise  as and was from the start wanted to send the kid there for future research or he was planning to go there with SY  ( anything  but not the typical opening  ending with him away and living with hope to cure  it , anything  but that please )

 

the ex minster  is going to  meet him tomorrow and tell him about their  plan I think it going to be in the end since the next and final week will be about that fight between  all of them 

 

Which side each one will chose??( I am sure CYH  will not choice their  side since he said himself it scary  to give the doctors the legal right to take life , he and the prosecutor agree on it at least, CYH  think it neccessary sometimes but understand how scary to be allowed to do it anytime it maybe neccessary but it has aftermath and not easy and unguilty  decision)

Thanks so much, comrades, for the live updates.  In other words they showed scenes from ep 14 in the preview supposingly for ep 13 last week or they planned to put those scenes in ep 13 but now changed to 14.  I'm not sure that's a good thing.  I want them to wrap the Mr. Mastermind issue up asap so we have more time left for romance which is priority.  I mean my HanYoung loving addiction is killing me but they gave me 2 teeny tiny itsy bitsy sesame size romantic moments like so and expect me to be cool until the next dosage?

Btw, am I lead to believe that SY also applied for a position at the same clinic?

The title  : which  choices 

They will start  the talk and vote for CYH in the hospital, but the pain center team find away to make CYH  stay ( i cant wait to see our cure team supporting their  their teacher) 

 

Cyh will find a big  support group on his side but in the same time he going to meet the ex minster and learn about the drug 

 

 So the sadly the text doesn't give so much more than what the video  preview give but I think I get from it that CYH  going to stay in the hospital

On the other hand I don’t think KSY will just let him go. The last scene of today’s episode proved that.  She loves and cares him so much. I think if he goes then she follows him.

 

Btw I know that we know how much YH likes KSH because his eyes tells us everything. But I want to hear a confession. Its like something is missing in this relationship. That triggered him to apply for the researcher position at Clevland Clinic ; so he can fulfil her statement. It's like he's reciprocating her feelings through these actions. He too will do his part to get his CIPA fixed to be with her. And even if he runs off, somehow he knows she'll find him. He thought of Clevland, she thought of that too. Such a ill-fated yet lovable couple! 

 

The Pain & Mgmt team are tightly bonded after going through so many cases with CYH. LYJ said he's sorry to not notice, to not understand CYH and assist him. He used "understand", a word CYH feels no one will understand, they only "try to know". Yet hearing from this bunch, perhaps it warms CYH's heart. He was the one who didnt give people a chance to take a step closer. He didnt want pity. He didnt want closeness and leave them sadness when his time bomb go off suddenly.  

 

Will we get to see the nurse coming into terms that her revengeful heart is aimed at the wrong person? Did SSK's words enlightened her? It will be a nice ending if the three including CYH put their differences aside and break the "Death talk" organisation.

That could be a possible ending.

And I was thinking since SY discovered the existence of a specialised research centre like Clevland Clinic, what if the one who goes off isn't YH but SY?

And I don't think SY is incapable of "leaving" him because she did "leave" or "run away" from her dad even though we know she loves her dad so much.

 

Plus, after seeing the short clip of the scene where SY shows YH the clinic's website and asks him what about contacting them, his surprised expression makes me think not only did he not expect her to find it but he had intended to keep it hidden from her until the time came when they accepted him and he had to go.

Which means he could really be going there to give SY the space to "get over him" and "move on" with someone else who doesn't have a lifelong condition. *Edit* and of course his mean purpose in going is for the research.

--> which means will he still go to Clevland if SY also applies to go there?

 

Listing down my fantasised possible open endings: 

SY goes off. Maybe YH can't go yet because he has to finish whatever treatment he has to undertake for his viral laby blahblah.

Then a few months later (or a year later?? omg) it is like what @nooneor said about meeting again. This time the one who is running is YH haha

 

Or another possible ending is YH going off (like how we have discussed the possibility) and then MAYBE some time later Dr Lee and Mirae are getting married (yay! lol) and then SY attends the wedding, of course. But guess who turns up??

I think if they ever "left" each other it won't be done in a "break-up" way.

The problem is that YH has yet to verbalise his feelings to SY. So no matter how much he caresses her or stares at her lovingly (longingly? :p) they didn't make their romance "official". It seems to me YH's main purpose is to find a cure to CIPA so that he can live an easier daily life with SY more than to just simply be with her and burden her with his condition (I like how the english ost that plays in the background always goes along the lines of "falling in love again" when YH thinks of SY. Can't remember the lyrics). That's why that one night he didn't want to extract his blood sample and run all those tests right? Coz he wanted to be like a regular person for once.

I just want to say that I kept watching the scene where Romeo wiped away his woman's tears and caressed her face like a few hundred times.  It was sexy.  Heck, I want to see his confession and their kiss so desperately.  In this regard, YH is losing to SY.  He has to be more assertive.  He better steps up his game because my confidence in him as a strong Romeo is dwindling as it is.

Other than that, I don't know what's up with the story of a bunch of main guys getting terminal illness and rare diseases.  Four guys in the main cast:  lawyer and his shady boss, prosecutor and hero.  And then there's the dominant of ratio male vs female in patients:  2 male in prison (of course), a boxer, the cipa boy, the priest, SY's father, and the only female is the actress.  I dunno.  Is there a underlying message here?  Or maybe I'm just bored due to the lack of HanYoung romantic scenes that would keep my brain busy.  Things just feel a little iffy and weird when the main men are falling sick and the main guy keeps falling (literally).  To add insult to injury, the nurse went all out destroy hero mode because.  She's starting to pluck my damn nerves.

Although I hate sad endings, I'm fine as long as it makes some sense at least despite the misery. Last time I got all annoyed due to a bad ending was during Memories of the Alhambra & Misty. Endings ruined the entire dramas for me in those cases. Just hope Doctor John wraps up well without meeting any train wreck....

Sbs is stingy with the still's from last week they busy promoting for the new drama 

 

I worry about the ending too, i hate open and decided whatever you like ending , when you write  something just ended it even if not everyone like it , but opening one for some to be happy it logic that it not fairy  tale ending and for other to have hope for future romance reunion is the worst  for me 

 

It only 3 episodes left , I cant understand  CYH  reaction when sy talk about the research clinic as many here it could he explain by so many views but I really cant be sure , his warm  smile at that scene confused me,  

 

I dont like going with the that road in the last 3 episode so I hope CYH  will surprise us and we found later that he didnt really apply to that position or he cancel it, it was just a moment if weakness and he   back off  from it, or he would have decided to offer her to come with him.

 

I was worry that trying  to run away will be showing  early to deal with it since I understand CYH fear and view but not in the last two week and no words about it 

 

I want to believe  that the writer  and CYH  character will never think about making  CYH  playing with SY  feeling till the end than throw the bomb of him leaving and she will be like " I understand it's  okay" he didn't back off from her till now still acting sweet and allowing her to have feeling so I don't  believe  he that bad to just wait to the last  moment to till her he leaving 

 

 

Dont play with me it hard for him in Korea  now !! Dont play with me about the promise he give to the kid!! And dont joke about he doning  that to Live longer for SY  it not an ordinary sickness to leave for few years and come back it maybe  take the live of 3 people like CYH  to get to actually cure  or something so it not hope it just giving up his own happiness for life 

 

So I still believe the writer and CYH  understand  that and will never go that road, him decision a life without  sy for any reason specially if he really care for her feeling

Tonight's episode begins...

 

CYH is coming down the stairs, his phone is ringing (it's KSY calling) but he is too dizzy to answer. It's the scene from last night, where she reads off the warehouse address that GS was injured. Next we see CYH on the floor. She tells the paramedics that he is a CIPA patient so expect that he won't be able to give a diagnosis?

 

HJ and KSY rush to the hospital to see CYH. He is awake and has his left arm bandaged. KSY touches his forehead, he has a fever, she says. HJ tells CYH that KSY was very worried. He gets up, wanting to see GS, the patient. KSY stops him in his tracks. 

KSY's mum and aunt visit GS. KSY's sister is monitoring the patient. I think she tells him that an MRI has been carried out, and GS is suspected of Nocardiosis. I think they ask her if they know how CYH is doing and I think she says that he is at a hospital.

 

The next scene shows KSY's mum and the director discussing CYH's case. KSY and CYH are awaiting a video call from HJ. It's quite funny as KSY touches up CYH's fringe before picking up the video call. KSY tells CYH "You want to look alright, right?" HJ holds the phone for GS so he can see CYH in the video call. I think they have told GS that CYH won't be there at the hospital. CYH tells GS to hang in there and that he will get better. HJ tells GS that they just need time for CYH to return to duty.

After the phone call, KSY touches CYH's arm and starts to cry. She asks him if it hurts but CYH replies that she know it doesn't. She says, "Please say it hurts if it does." CYH asks her if it's difficult for her, as she is always concerned and anxious about him. And she says it's because "I am your guardian. It's my job." He then looks at her in a very heartfelt manner and tells her "Thank you, KSY." She then tells him that he should continue being a doctor and care for patients as that's the best job fit for him (this is because he once asked her what would suit him if he quits being a doctor). "So please don't get sick."

 

Next, CYH is asleep in the hospital bed and KSY is seated by his side. She touches him gently and then proceeds to do her work on her notebook. She has written something on his cast, it says "Please don't get sick." CYH awakens for a short while and sees KSY by his side, he smiles and goes back to sleep.

KSY is back at work. The sister asks her if CYH is ok and she says he is resting at home. They overhear patients asking if CYH is ill and they seem sincerely concerned about him. One of the doctors informs the team that the disciplinary hearing is tomorrow. They seem concerned that it is taking place so soon. The lawyer informs CYH that the hearing is tomorrow and ask if CYH is ok with it if he doesn't show up to explain himself, to which he resolutely says he is ok. The lawyer also asks if he has time to see someone today.

 

An elderly patient asks HJ where CYH is or how is doing? He says he wants to thank CYH for taking care of his pain. This gives HJ an idea of how to rally in support of CYH. They decide to gather feedback and input from patients about CYH.

 

CYH takes a cab to the ex-health minister's house. The lawyer introduces him to the ex-health minister (EHM). EHM tells CYH that he has wanted very much to meet him. I think this is where they tell CYH about Cherubim. They show him the video about the mercy killing of the lady in the previous episode and ask him what he thinks. CYH objects violently and I think asks them how they can kill someone like that? His hands are shaking in fury. CYH leaves the house and the lawyer tries to hold him back but he punches the lawyer. CYH tells the lawyer to come to his senses. It appears that he doesn't buy the whole idea. All the scenes of patients in this drama who are unconscious and suffering flash through. CYH appears greatly disturbed at this discovery.

 

The actress' sister has received a text message and was at the hospital (there will be another Death Talk presentation). The prosecutor and his team suspect that another mercy killing will take place - will it be the actress? CYH speaks to the prosecutor and tells him about Cherubim and probably the link with the EHM. I think he mentions that he saw the video at EHM's house. The prosecutor asks the police to go with him to the EHM's house (maybe with a warrant?) I think the lawyer is about to administer the drugs for the EHM. When they arrive, the door to the main gate is open. They enter a room and find the EHM seated in his chair, dead. The drugs are in a tray. The police have also gone to the house where support for the terminally ill patients took place and I think they find no information. It looks like the lawyer has wiped all traces of evidence (?).

It's Ep 14. Another patient is in the van and the doctor who is administering the drug is the one who was at the health talks earlier on (the one giving the souvenir bags), the seminar where CYH was unwell and KSY took over.

The prosecutor informs CYH I think that the EHM is dead and most other traces of evidence have been wiped out. The prosecutor asks CYH why he informed him and he tells him that such a drug or method would make doctors take the easy way out; they would no longer work at making a diagnosis and families would also take the same approach.

It's the next scene - KSY is at the Clevlend page and she recalls him thanking her and saying that he wishes her to be healthy the next time he sees her. It then cuts to CYH,

He has received a message from Clevelend and they have reviewed his background and think he is a good fit for them. They wish to discuss further with him about it. CYH gets a call from KSY. They talk over the phone, KSY asks how he is doing and he says he is fine. She says the disciplinary hearing has yet to take place and results are unknown. But his health is important and she suggests that they exercise together. He reminds KSY that he will try not to make her worry about him. (I think he is trying to tell her about his application but words just don't come out). He reminds her not to worry too much about him again. And she replies that's not all she does. He insists that she does. She says "I am hopeful. I wish to live a long, healthy life with the person I like." He says I know but she retorts "No you don't. Then she apologises." But he says she does not have to apologise, and tells her to sleep. Both have tears in their eyes. I think KSY senses that CYH is leaving.

CYH is seated in front of the prosecutor, probably as a witness - he signs some documents. He then shows the prosecutor a text message he got from the lawyer (the message states that the lawyer and EHM were not vested in Cherubim's development for self interest as they could have gone to countries that permitted euthanasia. But such means are not available to everyone as it would be costly. So the drug is a means to help those in Korea who need it. They will leave Korea until legislation becomes more favourable). The prosecutor says this is adequate evidence, he snaps a picture of CYH's phone. Apparently both the doctor and the lawyer have fled to another country and Interpol has been asked to help with their arrest.

 

It's the disciplinary hearing.The committee vote anonymously. HJ and KSY's sister appear to be waiting for some people to appear. It's an intense moment. The Director is about to announce the verdict when the patients whom he has saved in the past rush in to provide their testimonies. I think the Director is saying that the doctors should decide when the 'MMA fighter' says it should be the patients who should decide as hospitals are built to treat patients. Not only that, the 'fighter' has called for a press conference before they entered the room. Someone in the room says that it's only these few patients, HJ then rushes up with an envelope filled to the brim with testimonies from other patients who all say positive things in favour of CYH. KSY's mum and aunt are smiling. KSY and HJ thank the patients for coming to support CYH. KSY's aunt I think shows the hospital is the top of search rankings. Ultimately, the Director has the say as the vote among the doctors was a tie and his vote will be the deciding factor. But after that, there still is no verdict.

 

CYH is at the hospital where he gets consultation and he sees the press conference that took place earlier on. He grins. GS is not doing well, and the doctors call him. They ask for his advice. He rushes to the hospital as he was seeing his own doctor who informed him something (but I couldn't catch it). I think another doctor is suggesting surgery for GS but it seems to be risky as they all look concerned. KSY's mum and CYH are arguing about whether to carry out surgery. CYH seems for it and KSY's mum is against it. Still, they push GS to the operating theatre (OT). CYH frantically tries to revive GS but his mother says it's alright to stop and let GS go. At that very moment, GS flatlines. CYH and the whole team in the OT are tearful.

preview - the prosecutor is in the hospital for treatment and he asks CYH "Aren't you going to ask me why I chose you? The Director and KSY's mum talk and he asks her whether she is going to confirm something, to which she replies "Why should I, he isn't going to stay on in our hospital anyway." KSY's sister wakes her up from sleep and she asks her sister why she should go there; the sister tells her she will regret it if she doesn't. HJ drives KSY somewhere and apologises for not informing her earlier. (I suspect it is to see CYH off at the airport?)

I have a feeling that whatever premonition was had about CYH going to the US and coming back to head the department later on (the typical sort of scene) seems to be coming true. I think his resolve to go has been strengthened with GS' death.  We can but hope for something different but that's going to be another 6 day's wait and ending with such a scene brings out all the curse words I know. (though on a lighter note, it did cross my mind that poor Ji Sung had to keep doing CPR and sound so breathless...wonder how many takes they did.)
