nimon 112
at this point, im just convinced the writer really likes terminating dan oh and haru >:( 1
-Love Blossom- 1,913
@taskdramafanatic I know Haru also wanted to be on that stage but what I am saying is why is it always Haru? Kyung also played a part changing that stage. That stage changing was almost like how Haru changed Dan Oh's fainting stage by giving her watch to Sae Mi. So it was Haru who changed that stage not Sae Mi. If we think this way then Kyung is the one who changed that tree stage not Haru so he is the one who should punished. Maybe because it was Haru's choice that's why. I am trying to find too much logic in a fantasy drama.
Jillia 190,712
The writer just really doesn't like Dan Oh and Ha Ru together. I thought the writer would erase "Secret" world because the manhwa ends but he/she also started by taking erasing Ha Ru's nametag, the art classroom and Bo Tong. And slowly more people seem to disappear. Ugh... it turns more and more into a horror show. Like just imagine you gave up everything to be with the one you love and then in the end the world you live in just disappears. So, with the words of Kyung's brother it really looks like he is a manifestation of the writer? Because he knows so much compared even to Jinmichae.
taskdramafanatic 4,005
you know what was fascinating, though dan oh had lost her memories, her heart still remembered haru and her watch always went of whenever he was near, dan oh told this to kyung on their stage date, that her monitor was beeping because she was happy or excited but she kept mistake her heartache of missing haru as real heart pain from her former heart condition because even that was't as painful as being separated from him. even when she arrived under the tree to meet kyung for the stage, her heart was racing because it was such a especial place for her and haru, (that's where their kiss happened and they planned to meet there on oct 10th and the tree is significant to both haru and her). dan oh's heart missed haru and subconscious thanked him for changing her stage but she said this to kyung, this proved to kyung how much she loved haru that even without her memories she subconsciously still longed for haru. @-Love Blossom- to be fair kyung didn't know there was a consequence attached to changing the stage, the changing of stage always just irritated him because it always went against what he wanted. plus i liked the way he said he hates the writer. @Jillia Danoh forgiving kyung for trumpet creeper is acceptable because, it was the writer that made him kill her on stage. and dan oh understands that because kyung never really got to be who he wanted to be because the writer give him such bad setup and she was also bound by very unfortunate character set up.
angelbeast90 6,926
I think this writer does not give a think or two about what the readers of the manhwa want! I think at one point the publisher will have to step in and shut down the manhwa and change the writer to, a one who want's to write a better manhwa for Danoh and Haru! Heck I feel like buying the publishing house of this manhwa writer with rights for all these characters!! lol!! Did anyone notice her aegyo charming voice returned back after she became self aware again! I was missing her teasing tone towards Haru!

I was missing her teasing tone towards Haru! yes, i totally squealed when she was being a baby and telling him how upset she is that he couldn't get the bread and he just pinched her cheek because she is so adorable and couldn't stop himself. rowoon being an absolute cutie teasing KHY is his full time job, he just loves teasing her. lol. look at him being petty and using her height against her. tall people have it all, i swear.
Jillia 190,712
Spoiler Credit: liveasbutterflies @taskdramafanatic Spoiler The thing is (and it's the last time I'll talk about this dreadful "redemption"): I just woke up and I thought maybe I would care about Kyung a bit today but no, I still don't care about him. To me, he was never a emotional anchor of the drama. I care more about Do Hwa's happiness than I did about Kyung's. From the beginning I wanted Kyung to have a better life and happiness but the longer they dragged his trashy behavior the less he became worth it. I will give Dan Oh however Kudos she was able to give her bully forgiveness, even though I find it terrible writing to make the person who suffered the most forgive the person who was the reason for the suffering. Yes, it makes her look gracious and strong and she certainly is 100 times better than Kyung (and he probably knows that) but I hope we can one day finally move on to writing in which a woman OR a man for that matter doesn't have to be the one to forgive when there was no reason to do so to begin with. It was necessary because this drama ends and they had to finish Kyung's arc. But I can only shake my head while watching the scene. I'm not saying that under different circumstances I wouldn't have liked to see a scene like that. Just the path to this scene was barely there. I came to the conclusion it was a fast food redemption. It looks nice on the outside but the meat is rotten and tasteless. I think that's the best way how I can explain it. However if it gives peace to those who like Kyung and who wanted redemption for him then that's fine. 5 1

Jillia 190,712
I still want these two in a sageuk manhwa though... they have this aura that they just belong there rather than the modern world. Also, find yourself a man who looks at you like Jinmichae looks at Soo Hyang. This man! Spoiler Credit: lee-taeri

tianaa 18,634
I am back at it again wanting to curse writer but i wont I love young version of Dan Oh and BK so much. They are so cute and perfect buddies...BK: “Wishing to keep you by my side knowing that you weren’t yourself makes me a monster”.His confession!!! don’t think there is a better sorry than this ... Me: Is someone chopping onions Dan Oh: “I hope you can become the real you just like how I could find the real me”.This is most beautiful way of forgiving him and saying goodbye... Atleast the writer didn’t make Haru suffer for long time. Thanks to writer for wrapping up Dan Oh’s memory thing fast instead of dragging it and torturing all...
Jillia 190,712
OMG! Did they actually cast a student who happened to be capable to play the flute or did they cast a man who can play flute and put him there as a student? 2

I think he is quite cute too. But do we see his glimpse as an random extra in the actual episodes? I don't think we do. Maybe someone just really being in the background. But wow... what a talent. He looks young as well. It's nice to see young people still playing traditional instruments. Talking of OST: I actually wished we did have a traditional piece of music for "Trumpet Creeper". Sad we didn't get that. And here... Baek Hyung Sung saying goodbye! I can't believe the drama will end today. It was such a joy to watch despite the live filming and choppy editing towards the end. I won't be able to watch the episode live today but can't wait to read all the thoughts on a hopefully satisfying ending.
Jillia 190,712
@stargazer187 Yes it's the last script for the drama. His role is so shady though... but if he is actually the writer I can understand. Everyone in this drama is dissing his writing style. Jillia 190,712
Me after watching episode 15 (29/30) yesteday: The last episodes were stressful to watch. You expect a fantasy romance with comedic elements and get a horror drama about existential questions. Me looking at writer-nim: 5
Jillia 190,712
@stargazer187 I always LOVE how Dan Oh pretty much disappears because Ha Ru aka Rowoon is so tol and Hye Yoon is so smol. So he wraps his arms around her and she is like gone. It's adorable. But yeah there are many scene that haven't been discussed. sageuk!Ha Ru really didn't die in the end but was just wandering around, waiting for Dan Oh to come back. Did he really hope she would return? He probably thought so. 6 1

celebrianna 18,668
@stargazer187, I’m with you on the way BK’s brother reminded Haru that his actions of changing the stage created the consequence of his impending disappearance. At least Haru doesn’t live his life like a coward. He was willing to change Danoh’s fate or do whatever it takes to keep Danoh safe and happy despite any repercussions. Someone like that brother who lives safely without taking risks cannot begin to comprehend Danoh and Haru’s desire to live freely to make their own fate. 7
