The more I look at the trailers, the more I get a western vibe here! I think I'll like it a lot once the series starts on Oct. 28! And as in the 3rd trailer, I guess their distance slowly begins after they get appointed at the same department! Or is that so??? May be I am wrong! But anyway, looking forward for more detailed trailers..!  This is gonna be huge for sure!

Jang Nara Starts Doubting Lee Sang Yoon In New “VIP” Teaser

Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon’s marriage starts to turn rocky in a new teaser for upcoming drama “VIP.”

 

Described as a “private office melodrama,” the upcoming SBS series is about a task force in charge of taking care of VIP customers of a department store, and it tells the stories of working women surviving in the workforce and their marriages. Jang Nara will play Na Jung Sun, a member of Sungwoon Department Store’s VIP management team, and Lee Sang Yoon will take the role of Park Sung Joon, the leader of Sungwoon Department’s Store’s VIP management team and the husband of Na Jung Sun.

 

The clip starts off with Park Sung Joon sending a bouquet of flowers to Na Jung Sun during work to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Na Jung Sun also drops by his office with a big, warm smile to ask if he’ll be home late, and he replies he won’t be. Their marriage looks smooth on the surface, but their relationship takes a sharp twist as a series of texts drives them apart. The caption reads, “The most unbelievable truth about the person you want to believe in the most.”

More secrets start to surface in the team. New employee On Yoo Ri (Pyo Ye Jin) is in a mysterious relationship with the vice president while Song Mi Na (Kwak Sun Young) gets fed up with her life as a working mom and leaves her husband. Lee Hyun Ah (Lee Chung Ah) has a strange tension with Na Jung Sun and may be involved with Park Sung Joon in a way that isn’t related to work.

 

At the end of the clip, Na Jung Sun receives an unexpected text that claims, “Your husband’s woman is in your team,” and she gazes at her sleeping husband in doubt.

Lee Sang Yoon’s Proposal To Jang Nara Doesn’t Go As Planned In Upcoming Drama “VIP”

SBS’s upcoming drama “VIP” has revealed new romantic stills of Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon!

 

Described as a “private office melodrama,” the upcoming SBS series is about a task force in charge of taking care of VIP customers of a department store, and it tells the stories of working women surviving in the workforce and their marriages. Jang Nara has taken on the role of Na Jung Sun, a character who works smoothly with others, and Lee Sang Yoon will be playing Park Sung Joon, a perfectionist at work.

 

Working in Sungwoon Department Store’s VIP management team together, the two are married and seem to lead a happy life until a mysterious message starts to bring the couple apart.

In the newly released stills, Na Jung Sun tries to grab Park Sung Joon’s hands, but he appears embarrassed and has his hands balled up into a tight fist. Na Jung Sun smiles after realizing Park Sung Joon’s intentions to propose, but Park Sung Joon looks nervous as his proposal goes differently from what he expected. With the bright scene of the couple proposing, viewers are curious to find out what happened during their proposal seven years ago.

 

The production team shared, “Even though Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon are working together for the first time through ‘VIP,’ they showed off rich chemistry from the first filming, raising the expectations of the production team. Please look forward to the fairytale-like proposal scene created by the trinity of the actors’ chemistry, scenery, and mood.”

Jang Nara And Lee Sang Yoon Talk About Their First Impressions Of Each Other And Most Memorable Scene From “VIP”

 

Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon have shown off their chemistry for the upcoming SBS drama “VIP”!

 

“VIP” is about a task force in charge of taking care of VIP customers of a department store, and it tells the stories of working women surviving in the workforce and their marriages.

The video is conducted in an interview style manner that parodies the couple variety show SBS’s “Same Bed Different Dreams,” and it begins with the actors introducing themselves. Jang Nara will play Na Jung Sun, a member of Sungwoon Department Store’s VIP management team, and Lee Sang Yoon will take the role of Park Sung Joon, the leader of Sungwoon Department Store’s VIP management team and the husband of Na Jung Sun.

 

In the interview, Lee Sang Yoon reveals that Jang Nara was very shy and introverted during their first meeting. He shares that he suggested that the two talk informally from the first day they met in order to get closer to each other as fast as possible, even though Jang Nara normally has difficulty talking informally to others. Jang Nara says, “You did really well. If he hadn’t [done that on the first day], it would have taken a really long time [to get close].”

To Jang Nara’s surprise, Lee Sang Yoon says she’s hard to get along with at first, but once people overcome her initial barrier, she acts even more friendly. Meanwhile, Jang Nara shares that Lee Sang Yoon has a cute, younger brother like charm. Lee Sang Yoon also comments, “Since [Jang Nara] looks really young for her age, I was worried if we could look like a couple.”

 

On the most memorable scene that they filmed, Lee Sang Yoon picks the couple’s bed scene that they filmed that morning, describing how it was difficult to act like a natural couple and portray the scene realistically while sticking to broadcasting standards.

Furthermore, Jang Nara picks “innocence” as Lee Sang Yoon’s charm while Lee Sang Yoon says that Jang Nara’s charm is that she gets highly immersed into her role. They even jokingly share that Jang Nara got angry at Lee Sang Yoon during their first meeting because she was so immersed into the script. Lee Sang Yoon explains, “Suddenly it was as if Na Jung Sun was talking to Park Sung Joon.”

 

Finally, the actors share that they had a blast while filming, expressing their hopes that viewers enjoy the upcoming drama.
