Well, there is a possibility YR didn't push JS from the stairs....She has a kind of "illness" maybe she fainted near the stairs and fell down...The location of that flights of stairs is in full views of people, it's almost impossible for YR to did it unseen....

I've been following this drama from Day 1 and all I can say is it's getting exciting every episode. I feel bad for JS. I think the last 4 episodes will all be about revelations and I think SJ will come back to his senses after JS has been badly hurt. As for YR, because of her greed she will be ostracized by people and go far away from JS and SJ couple. I think JS might be pregnant.

I don't want them to go back with each other but I think this is how will the drama will end.

I want them to reconcile & forgive each other...just nice for Christmas

It could be that YR tried to run after JS and pull her back for longer chitchat because she wasn't done with JS. While JS tried to brush her off and slipped then fell down the stairs. Or YR went ballistic after JS told her to f off as it was none of her business whether JS should or shouldn't sign the darn divorce so she chased after JS and impulsively did the most stupid thing of pushing JS down the stairs in front of other peeps.

After the 14 eps I do not want any reconciliation between the two main characters. They would probably make it an open ending with:

-SW courting JS and JS not yet accepting

-VP & SJ lost everything and get locked up behind bars

-YR too lost everything and goes back to the low pay job.

I do like the idea of the VIP women going freelance and forming a consulting firm to the VIP or to customers wanting to become the VIP

PS. Saw the question/comment somewhere and my response to that is "it is just bad acting". The only muscles that are still working on that face are the eyelids' ones (not counting eyelid muscle spasm)

Now, I wonder if he was smart enough to have an evidence against the VP regarding the slush fund. VP needs to go to prison as well for this mess along with his daughter<_<. And his wife better bleed him dry of his money lol:lol:

I am sure SJ knew he had to cover himself or else he would have to take the fall for the VP in the event the secret money was revealed.  He is a smart man business wise.  Just stupid when it comes to Yuri.

You got your points here but not to forget that he indeed treat YR well and it shows that he indeed love her. Like @maribella said he did not afraid to show off their relationship and flaunt it to people around him. Protecting her. Holding her in his arms (i nvr seen him did this to NJS before they got married), staying by her side, holding her hands, spent a night with her, going to work together and the list goes on. If that is not act of love it’s either two things possible. The writer is bad at writing or Lee Sang Yoon is bad at acting.

SJ treated Yuri differently because she is a different person than JS and was always needing his support and protection.  She was weak and always crying over something.  Poor girl had a tough life.  She only had her mother who was dying and had been sick for 10 years.  She was also illegitimate, the same as he was.  They are kindred spirits who developed a bond based on similar circumstances and connected with each other.  SJ said when he saw that woman his heart would hurt.  Doesn't mean he loves her it means he hurts for her because of her situation. He understands and feels her pain because he also went through that. He made a mistake with Yuri, the day his father died.  Afterwards,  he felt guilty and shameless and did not want JS to find out.  He had no intention of leaving JS for Yuri.  (Yuri forced his hand on this though by sending the text. ) SJ loves JS, who is a beautiful, smart and capable woman who does not need to be coddled to every moment of every day. She is strong and can take care of herself.  Because she is strong he doesn't feel the need to hold her and protect her the same way he does Yuri.  He is actually in awe of JS and could not believe his luck when she liked him.  Even his mother said in ep. 14 that JS was his whole world.  Seeing his reaction in the preview for ep. 15 is the first time JS has shown his true feelings.  He has been hiding his feelings the entire drama.  He is hurting and will blame himself for this happening to JS.  I don't know if Yuri pushed JS or if JS possibly pulled away from Yuri then fell, but either way, it finally provoked a real response from SJ.  I am hoping that JS is hurt and unconscious for a couple of days so that SJ will stay with her and not leave the hospital.  That should be enough to get Yuri out of the picture.  Once JS wakes up, SJ can beg for forgiveness.  As I have said before, as much as I hate what he and Yuri have done, I want him to be with JS in end.

Everyone's talking about LSY's bad acting.  His acting is on point with what the Writer and Director wanted.  He was chosen specifically for this part due to his ability to have a non expressive face.  That was said in the VIP interview by the Director.  They didn't want someone that didn't know how to hide their emotions.  He is doing a fantastic job of hiding his feelings and making all of wonder what he is thinking.  Excellent Job LSY!!

How can it be bad acting if that’s exactly what the director wants? Just because a character is created to have bland expression, it doesn’t mean that the actor is bad in acting out that unlikeable bland expression. In real life, there are actually people who go around their life with such bland expressions. I will only say an actor cannot act if, for every character he takes on in various dramas, he only shows that same expression forever. Here, LSY is PSJ, a man of few words with sullen bland face. I have seen LSY in many dramas and he can act as different characters.

Anyway, why was YR rather shaken with the matchmaker interview... My thought is that she is being reminded to think of her potential married partner with her position as Ha Yu Ri, not as Ohn Yu Ri. I think it is dawning on her that PSJ isn’t a person that her new family will approve. So she became conflicted.

So as always, I'm late to the party. Hehe  I'm finally watching episode 14 and I'm at the scene where SJ is talking to mommy.  And I looooove her!  She had me bawling like a baby and I love her! Lol

I was yelling.. tell him momma.. tell him! If her words didn't have any impact on him he's dead inside.  Shoot I even felt sorry for him too, after what she said sunk in.  I was like you poor fellow,  you royally $%^! yourself. After confronting him about seeing someone else and getting the same answer as JS, head bowed and looking guilty she has a little emotional breakdown,  in disbelief that he would do such a thing. Then she calms down and in a resigned tone, lays down some Yoda wisdom and fortelling of what's to come! She tells him, "you don't know what you've done,  otherwise you wouldn't have done it.  You think this moment of passion is love right now.  That even though you know it's fire you jump in anyways. But in that moment,  you lost a whole world, because of what you felt at that moment.  Right now,  you don't know what you've lost. "

When she says you lost your world,  she's talking about SJ. She said that when he first brought her home,  she was relieved.  Not only because she was kind and gentle,  but she looked like she meant the world to him!

I whole heartedly agree with his mama's words.  He got caught up in the moment,  in the heat of passion, regardless of what he was doing for VP, this was outside of that. He stumbled and wavered from his wife on his own.   Their troubles and hardships were too much to bear and YR redirected his thoughts, and also gave him the attention and affection he was not currently getting from his wife. What a cop out and worst mistake he will ever make!!!  But whatever he and YR had was just that.. a moment.  He will realize this soon enough, and just what he's lost because when it hits him, we will know because, it will bring him to his knees!!!

To me find, he cheated the first time coz he feels ‘needy’ and get that attention from YR. ok, fine he cheated and he realized his mistake and wants to end it. What makes me MAd n think he crossed the line and is cruel to JS is when he chose YR again for the second time and openly admit to everyone that he wants to be by her side. Like WTF??? Didn’t he already determined to end things and start back with JS. He even try hard to deny few times when JS find about the affair earlier. What makes YR is so special that when her mother died he suddenly decided to be by her side, protect her, move in with her and keep hurting JS in public, in front of his friends. If he did that out of sympathy and not because of love, I seriously cannot understand what is the writer wants to convey to us.

to me He loves YR. as for JS he may still love her but at this point of time his feelings of love is greater for YR not JS. Since her mother died never once he ever denied YR request. He even gave the feelings that he and JS going to get a divorce hence YR is so confident telling her father abt it.

@sin hoonsim dont worry LSY got the most difficult character to act in VIP, as JNR said in allure interview. and i agree with her...since the beginning he just show 1 expression that i think it is worried expression...with all the background as mistress son that always feel unsecure (his other bro from other mom look like always threatened him and always asking money, his worried if people knew his family background so he said his dad already passed away), what he doing for VP he worried NJS knew it (and it looks he also affraid VP will attack his wife, i still dont know how VP had a thought NJS will be his obstacle if they did all bad thing in secret), and i think because still dont reveal yet he also worried yuri will harm NJS. talking about yuri, she has obsession abt SJ, the more closer they are the more her obsession growth, like in the preview SJ actually didnt say no to her when asking for dinner together, but she already feel jealous and affraid SJ will choose JS not her...my conclusion yuri is psychopath, if she feel unsecure she can harm others and SJ knew it

What a great summary of that scene!!   It was a moment of truth for him and i do believe he already knew this but his actions, both with business and personally, overwhelmed him.  Was he trying to protect JS from scrutiny? No, Idt so...remember that scene with Mi na and JS, they are outside talking and MiNa says to JS "do we really know what anybody is truly like?" paraphrasing here...he has hidden himself very well from JS and now JS would understand that statement.

What an eye opening episode!  I do believe we now know the true SJ.  Besides being the reserved, polite quiet guy he is not only a liar and a cheat but a player!!  Both in business and personally. He isn't trying to save JS from scrutiny or he wouldn't treat her so badly and openly display his affair.  He is doing all of this for his own selfish means.  And as i said above,   that scene with Mi Na and JS talking outside the restaurant work dinner comes to my mind where Mi Na says, "do we truly know who a person is?" and JS is realizing now that she never really knew her husband at all.  I think this will all end with the downfall of the 3 villains. It has to. There won't be a reconciliation as its done, that ship has sailed. I could be wrong, i have been wrong many times before. But there is no other logical ending. IS THERE??? Am i missing something.  I would like to say this writer has done something that doesn't happen often and that is provoke the viewer.  He or she has made us watch, think, take something for the old stomach, go back and watch and think again.  The writer has played with our emotions and thoughts.  This forum has been great and a type of therapy to let all that bad anxiety out.  Heck, my stomach is still in knots from having to watch another episode with SJ and YR in it, but i do so gladly. Although, tonight i had to fast forward through their scenes.  Enough is enough, they make me sick.  Till next week VIP friends!!

The only redemption SJ can hope to attain will be in prison. Over the years he has paved his shiny brick road with his own hands. Unfortunately, there is only one destination at the end of that paved road. I feel no empathy for him or for Yuri - they get what they get & it won't be pretty. If he was attempting to protect JS, he did a mighty poor job of it. One thing I've learned over the years is before you go messing with someone else's covers, you need to make up your own bed. New sheets don't necessarily feel more comfortable than the old ones.

yes, yes, yes! VIP hit 15%. I’ll buy a t shirt if they sell them..

I’m so tired of the LSY bashes. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again,” He’s playing the cards that were dealt him!”

If you hate PSJ, LSY is doing his job.

I really want to see a happy ending-JS and SJ. back together but I will understand if it doesn’t happen.

”That girl” can take a long walk off a short pier.

Also, thanks to whoever posted the LSY Christmas card with music.

How many watched "go back couple"? The ML was doing exactly what SJ is doing, managing the mistress(es) for his boss. Same despicable act but for some reason, it feels more despicable and dirty with SJ.  Things that make you go hmmm. Lol

I hate the character but can't help to root for the man behind him,  LSY, so I go back and forth between wishing for a reconciliation and burning him on a stake! This drama's giving me multiple personality syndrome! Rotfl

One day I'm a woman craving vengeance, then another day I'm a hopeless romantic wishing for a happily ever after,  and other days I'm both!!  My damn personalities are "like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're going to get!" Lmao

I think people are complaining about LSY's monotonous acting because we haven't really seen SJ's real face yet. With most other dramas, there are scenes where there is no one to witness the character breaking down. That scenes where he broke down were too short to reveal any anguish, regret or whatever else he is feeling. And even when he is carrying on with that boring controlled mask, there should be some micro expressions (suddenly reminded me of Liar Game...), but here there is pretty much none. He doesn't even appear like a confident and competent executive (the way JS and HA carry themselves). He is so stoic that I would've thought his character is a small uncredited character playing assistant to the VP.

I don't know how to clearly express this... I don't mean LSY is bad. But I expect SJ to at least appear like a competent boss. If only he could pull a So Jisub. SJS is great playing these stoic characters if you know what I mean.

I am bracing myself for an extension to this drama. Hit Korean dramas almost ALWAYS get extended. The way HJW sleeps around, he could die of STD.

I think SJ involvement with VP was going to be exposed and SJ  decided to use YR to cruelly force JS away from him with divorce as the objective. He had to be this cruel to make her despise him and sign divorce papers; wanted her safely out of the way especially given her fragility after the miscarriage/stillborn.  Something happened and his dealings with mistresses and dark money was revealed to be close to being exposed. He has to have game plan of some sort but regardless the "plan" would not save his professional reputation. Maybe the climax will be the hidden shares and SJ manipulated so can't be used by VP?  maybe for him an affair is better then being "dirty".

I only see what looks like brother-like affection from SJ to VR. absolutely no passion in their interactions...and should be lots at this stage of their relationship.Wonder if when reviewing the CCTV SJ saw something we don't know. Did he decide to play the situation when he found out YR texted his wife? Are the clenched hands anger? ok, maybe doesn't make sense with timelines etc..but will help me get to next week and the final two episodes.

Question: Did the matchmaker tape the conversation with YR? Looked like she had a small tape recorder...

I think JS is pregnant. He will go to the hospital with her and find out then...
