I remember that scene. Was it before or after she received her walking papers from Daniel? I can't remember, but I think she expected to leave him rather than being asked to leave. I just might have to re-watch that so I can see Daniel again.

I said those words once: "I will never forgive you!" It didn't  have the effect I wanted & I ended up having to eat my words (which I normally do).

@Takingthehighroad That scene occurred when SJ met Leah at the art gallery. They inserted the art gallery scene in between her conversation with Daniel when he handed her her walking papers. She got in the car and went to the airport. So I would say she already knew she had been fired.

@monalisa If I remember correctly, in an earlier episode JS buys fancy undies, checks her calendar for her cycle and says 14 days. That’s the night of the infamous text message. Nothing happened in the bedroom that night! It would have to be the Immaculate Conception.

No, sorry, I don't think this refers to JS but to JNR herself.

She has been active in charity work for a long time. I read about her in wiki, she donates money and time regularly in Korea and China as well.

I am watching”Chocolate” on another site. It is excellent. Amazing chemistry between leads. You know who the evil ones are. Beautiful scenery and soundtrack.

SJ is the most confusing lame character to me.  He flip flops so much.  At this point in their story i just can't see any possible redemption for him or a chance for a reconciliation.  Even if he was trying to push her away, he has ripped her heart to shreds.  Unless something crazy happens like YR trying to  physical harm JS and SJ saves her.  That would be a typical kdrama scenario and this drama is not your typical kdrama.  So...idk.  i just hope its a great satisfying ending with some happiness for JS and with the destruction of YR, VP and SJ.

Admittedly, I was divided over the choices in the first question. Undoubtedly, SJ divulged (and cried over) his personal family to YR while looking after YR's personal affairs, thus forming an unwarranted emotional attachment. However, one skeptical part of me can't consider SJ's and YR's "relationship" as an actual affair, especially if it turns out that YR is actually working with the VP to break apart the JS-SJ power couple (I know, it's still speculation...). That being said, I wouldn't rule out SJ having (at least) one tryst with YR- hence, his guilty, blank face throughout the present scenes, and his insistence to YR that whatever they had was "over" (way to go back on your word, SJ? ) before YR entered the company in the Ep. 12 flashback. Therefore, I chose the "SJ and YR had a one-night stand choice".

 

BTW, many thanks for including the "The VP hired Yuri to destroy the JS-SJ couple" option in the second question. Yes, SJ is still to blame for choosing to become personally, emotionally invested in YR when he should have been doing all that with his actual (and much more genuine, beautiful, strong yet but not immortal) wife JS, regardless of YR's feelings or (hidden) agenda. Still, I cannot help but feel something's off with the VP, who's using JS's public exposure of SJ's "affair" to initiate his plan of removing JS from her high-level position in the Sungwoon Department store VIP team, promoting his unqualified "biological heir" YR as branch manager or JS's current position in the VIP team, and ultimately guilt-tripping SJ into preparing a divorce from JS and a marriage with YR for the sake of helping the VP secure his position in the company while "validating" SJ's and YR's relationship in public. Other than establishing himself as a father of the only living future "heir" in the family registry, the VP has not acted very "fatherly" towards YR, be it skipping out on YR's mother's/VP's "alleged" former lover or allowing a potential loose cannon/loaded dice/rabid-dog-who'll-bite-of-its-master's-hand like SJ marry his own "child". Strangely, the VP parades YR around in public rather than hide her away like he has done with his other mistresses via hush money or blackmail.

 

In any event, I can't wait to see the final results/consensus of this poll!

@Takingthehighroad Of course, we know you wouldn't allow a ringed-tail tooter like SJ near JS within a 6,000 mile radius (think, an ocean apart), let alone back in a relationship with a child in tow who shouldn't have to call someone like SJ her/his father, after all the unnecessary betrayal and humiliation he put her through at home AND work. But I can't wait to see how you conclude your epilogue (still dreading the outcome of the actual drama, though ).

 

On another note, as @TXviewer mentioned, Daniel's former fiance confronted SJ with the whole "evil" speech AFTER being told off and fired by Daniel.

It was One Warm Word and although they didn't sleep together, they had an emotional affair.  It was Ji Jin Hee, Han Hye Jin, Lee Sang Woo and Kim Ji Soo.  Lee Sang Woo was married to Han Hye Jin and cheated on her.  Later Han Hye Jin ended up having an affair with Ji Jin Hee who was married to Kim Ji Soo.  It was a good drama and had a happy ending for all of them.  Han Hye Jin also played in The Thorn Birds and that was a great drama also.

It doesn't matter if they slept together or not. He confided in Yuri what he couldn't with JS. He lied and broke JS's trust. THAT makes it an affair. As for Yuri, it doesn't matter how she figures into this puzzle piece. Finding out who she is doesn't change the outcome that SJ cheated on his wife and that alone was his choice.
