The more I watch this drama the more I loath ML & his mistress. If I was FL I'd have divorced ML straight away and exposed his adultery jazz lol. Funny how cheaters beg empathy and sympathy for cheating on their spouses or lover for the sake of circumstances. Loyalty and trust are two way streams, never clap with one hand. Honestly I see no redemption for ML

 

People like ML & his mistress do exist in real life and not sure about you guys but I actually deal with such muggles in my office life. Funny how the concept of this drama and its characters are too realistic that I draw parallels with the muggles I work with. It's a crazy phenomenon. That is why I do not give a damn about the whole victim and pity cards thrown by ML & his mistress. It's not a mistake if you deliberately choose to cross the line

 

On a side note, cheers to my fav character; strong single lady. She rocked the episodes this week and I love her charisma & attitude. She's my type of muggle; straightforward, cool and nonchalant

Finally, I finished both episodes. So this drama will end Christmas week - what timing! By now I should have already had my fixed holiday smile plastered across my face. But no, I find I'm beginning to look a lot like SJ, whopper-jawed & all. The difference is I'm beet-red & my hair is standing on end. That signifies my frustration, anger, & feeble attempt to control my blood pressure. I'm so afraid of how my holiday cooking will turn out...

 

I wonder how JS's mom will feel. She told SJ that he was a really good person. How will she react when she finds out what he has done to her daughter? JS wasn't only hurt by her mother but by her husband, too. And both hurt her in the same way. Whether SJ did it intentionally or not, the milk has spilt & and both mom & hubby left JS to clean it up. Whatever happens, I hope it ends well for JS.

After reading everyone's  comments on the latest episodes I would love it if your theory that Yuri is not the real daughter of the VP comes true ....but I think she is.  The crux of SJ's empathy for Yuri is the fact that he knows she is an illegitimate daughter, lived a hard life through no fault of her own...just like himself.

 

Unless even SJ was duped by the VP into believing Yuri is his real daughter to facilitate his need to have a child that can be part of the family register.

 

At this point.....Whatever.  I only care about what happens to JS.  Counting on all of you to keep up the great reveal!

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed episode 12 and my raging heart definitely appreciated it as well. No worries about having a heart attack today.  Lol

 

It was definitely a nice change in pace,  no emotional beat down of our heroine today! What I did see is who I've been looking for since she found out her husband was having an "affair". A JS that is composed, regal, strong, and fearless! I absolutely loved her approach to how the VP is trying to transfer her.  She faced it/ him head on and told him what she thought of his idea and what she would do if it happened! She totally owned that conversation,  with SJ watching in awe and the VP looking emasculated! There were no tears,  begging, or hysterics. She told him exactly how it was then walked out the door without even sparing a glance at her soon to be ex! She was classy AF and boss! 

 

The camaraderie between the four females was very heartwarming. Everyone needs a circle of friends like that,  that kind of support system is invaluable. 

 

This episode has given me hope that even if the ending isn't a happily ever after,  it is at least one that may make sense. And even though the next episode may be a tough one for JS with having to witness her own husband protecting YR, she is now in a state of mind where she's going to handle that and them in a way that will make us proud!

 

Today was an absolute win!! JS fighting!

 

PS: I purposely didn't go into detail about all the scenes between SJ and YR because I'm over them and therefore aren't worth mentioning;)

If our girl SJ can brush them right off, so can I!

Oh, boy... I really love this drama! Layer of layer of layer slowly revealing what is truly inside. Make me afraid to post before the truth comes out, because the writer is so good at throwing me unbalance and gives so many red herring. And, I have a good time watch this 16 episodes of slowly building thriller-romance-affair because each episode has meaningful explanation yet give more questions! This drama has, in this case, 3 or 4 facets in each story: you, me, the other man/woman, and others (name it: your colleague, your parent/s, bring the whole company if needed, ha!). For example: JS version vs SJ version vs YR version vs VP version vs VP's wife version vs HA version (she has crush on SJ back then) vs MiNa version, vs..... how many facets on this leads story only? 

 

First watching, I thought it was an interesting story of 3 women in their workplace. A happy go lucky like another Search:WWW where women won and be successful in personal and their careers. Oh, boy... how wrong was I there? 

First, I was wanting JS to just get out of the marriage and out of the office, brought all the credible employees there and built her own company. Let SJ and YR root together. To be successful and happy is the best revenge of all. And that what I would do! 

 

I am really glad that this drama shows the other option that I think a better one. If you are not wrong, stood up for yourself, fight for yourself. JS has her own part of the affair, when she has depression over her losing her baby. She shut down everyone near her. But, I believe she also seek help, when she confessed to her mentor (the motorbike guy Jang Jin Chul, that somekind of psychiatrist or at least senior with a very level head) about her anger and SJ. Thus, made her able to come back to the main bedroom and asked if SJ would forgive her and started together a new. By SJ didn't utter a word, didn't tell her the truth, and silently just went to YR, with an affair or not, SJ didn't give JS anything to help JS understood him. All JS knew was he chose YR over her. And, affair always much more devastating when it contained emotional attachment than just one night standing. So, whether SJ and YR ever had sex or not, there was an affair of attachment. The trust between JS and SJ had severely broken. It didn't matter if SJ thought he never betrayed JS because he never slept with her. 

 

If, it true that SJ really done all that to bring the VP down and protects JS heart and career, or be the knight in shining armour by protecting JS + her career, protecting Hyun Ah (she took several goods, whether she intended to replace them or not), protecting MiNa from sexual harassment and the incident of hidden camera, protecting YR because she just a sad-lonely-nobody who gets used by the VP, because he is the leader of the V.I.P team (wow...). I still don't know if I want SJ and JS to be together and lead the V.I.P team. For me, I will still have that trust issue... Glad that this is a drama that evokes my emotions.

Guessed as much Yuri is not as innocent but a very sly and filthy girl. Millions of others in her situation, tht does not give them the right to freely go about trying to wreck the families of others. Now in d family register, she is going to create MORE "innocent victim ploys" to help papa push out her aunties! Yes as someone commented earlier she may turn up not as VP's daughter.

 

....Hope when she suddenly became rich and famous, her true biological father will come forward to blackmail and harrass VP and Yuri.

 

Poor stupid SJ. The sisters must know his "lil secrets" and are going to USE this weakness to help them go agst their brother. He grew up knowing the negativity, heartaches and pains both his mum, himself and family of 1st wife went thru. Yet stupid enough to do the same to JS. Man with no conscience. Hope JS divorce him.

 

Am glad this drama is bringging out to show the strength and courages of victims.. help bring awareness and help stop all these unhealthy goings on in this world.

 

On the other side we see how encouraging and compassionate a husband is to help Mina ease thru her depression. Wht a wonderful husband.

 

Hyun A herself with a messy background has such a positive way of life. Using her misfortune to make life better not only for herself but for other unfortunate women, unlike Yuri.

I'm still with those here who thinks there isn't an affair. Sure SungJun did comfort YuRi when she was down and they probably confided each other secrets and he was drawn to her and she to him. Call it what you want, may be it was infidelity of the heart.

 

SungJun had told JungSun the truth when he said the affair was over. He did actually break-up with YuRi but it was YuRi who was holding on to him. 

 

In retrospect I find SungJun actions is inconsistent with his conviction. For example when he met with the VP after JungSun' revealed of the affair, SungJun told the VP that the affair was over. I  thought  the VP sounded harsh when he said, she is my daughter and you've taken a big risk. To which SungJun said 'if you want me to pay for what I did I will' here I feel that Sung Jun was 'eating out of the VP's hands. Before he left he assured the VP that the affair is over and he agreed with the VP to not talk about it again. Despite SungJun's assurance, the VP called the HR dept to have JungSun transferred to Ulsan branch. I find that the VP wanted to hold on to SungJun maybe for whatever secret SungJun is keeping for the VP.

 

In ep12 JungSun met with the VP and vowed to disclose the affair publicly if he did not retract her transfer. At this point SungJun was pressured by the VP to make a choice. SungJun then change his stance and told the VP he will stay with YuRi. 

???? scratching my head??? What is really going on between the VP an SungJun. I don't know who he is protecting the VP or YuRi?

 

On another note, maybe as someone said YuRi is a phsyco. This I noticed when YuRi met with he VP and he asked her 'are you you sure things are over with him because I can't risk another scandal' she was silent for a second before saying 'they will split up you do not have to worry' to which the VP was shocked and said 'what did you?' and his words were cut short by the phone call from the hospital.

 

For people who are talking about conspiracy theory, how about this. SungJun is working in secret with Chairman to rid company of all the scumbags including his sons. It could explain why he suddenly announced VP's sister as the president. Maybe the envelope someone said SungJun bought contained VP or his brother dirty secrets.

And why the heck is Sung Jun so stone faced & cold LoL!? I fail to see what exactly is Yu Ri's conviction that there's love in the relationship ahahah?! 'Cause girl I see none. All I see is him feelin' pity and maybe he feels a connection to her, still they're both trash & cancelled. What's worse it was Yu Ri that sent that dreaded text. Ugh. She's shameless as the OST says. 

      So proud of Hyun Ah & Jung Sun in ep. 12. I hope she drags them all down for what it's worth. The rape scene was pretty hard to watch...

This question is about Korean labour laws. In my opinion, Jung Sun's transfer to the Ulsan branch is a clear case of demotion. Hence, she can deem herself being forced to resign. She should be able to file a complaint to the Korean Ministry of Labour against the VP and the corporation. I think she has a case.

Am suspicious of this papa daughter pair too.  If she is his daughter why is she staying at the roof-top, surely papa cld hv given her a better place to stay. There ws a scene whn she went to his hotel room dressed all sexy, in black lace dress.

 

I too suspect this papa/daughter team is a fake. Yuri getting involved wth married man SJ is part of their scheme to ensure SJ stays loyal to him.

 

Yuri wears a strange flat tensed expression whenever wth "her father" and come on, death of her mother VP showed no concern at all???

The way Yuri was revealed to be a daughter publicly, doesn't seem to fit a plot by the VP to have her pose as his daughter from the beginning.  I think the idea of mistress posing as daughter is a better fit except would VP tolerate SJ's involvement with Yuri if she had been his mistress?  Most men don't want to share.  So that leaves two choices: the story is true as he told at the press conference or he thinks it's true because Yuri lied to him.  How did he find out about her?  Did he have a DNA test?  It is well within Yuri"s character to know her mother dated him in college, actually got pregnant by someone else and decide he would be a good source of funds when  her mother got sick.  And to be honest, getting help for her mother, who she does seem to actually love, would not be an evil motivation.  It was  after she took the help and the job at the food court that she began to see all the options available to her.  Remember when she went as an undercover shopper with HA, she said, "I never knew the world was so friendly."  VP's family will find out for sure if she is not real daughter.  How will SJ feel about it if she is lying?

in scene between “that girl” and VP’s wife in restroom, wife fixes girl’s hair lifting a hair sample. Why haven’t VP and wife (and no mistresses that we know of) gotten pregnant? DNA test here we come!?!

Just throwing this out there:

Is there a plan in place that SJ doesn’t/didn’t know about?

Was “that girl” put in place to trap SJ in a scheme but she wound up falling for him?

No one here mention the way yuri look SJ and JS, the time she first see them at supermarket. All people at office know that SJ and JS is perfect couple. I think YR feel jealous because her life is hard (imho).

I love the way JS handle VP regarding her transfer.

I wander what SJ feel hearing JS telling the VP she have to protect herself (since my husband cannot protect me have to do it myself... in my thot  )

Hope in the end SJ will emulate JS action... cutting off his connection with the VP & Yuri, giving all the testimony against all VP wrong doing ( I already lost a lot, someone who has nothing to lose has nothing to be afraid of... according to JS)

I think because it's Kdrama I've put aside what I've learned from American suspense thrillers.  Here's what I would've thought had I looked at it from those set of lenses:

 

At the end of episode 11 SJ finally came fully clean to JS what he's been embroiled in.  YR is delusional and obsessed,  she has imagined the relationship between them all along.  That's why SJ keeps calling the text a "prank". JS and  SJ are now working together to find a way to get him out of his entanglement with VP.  That's why she tears divorce paper and reminds him she's on his side by saying, let's go to hell together. They think YR is part of that key.  SJ is digging into what YR has been up to and to figure out just how calculating and scheming she can be.  Hence his question about what was her motive and goal for sending the text.  Also he's trying to push her to expose all by telling her to go full on evil rather than partially bad so that she thinks that he'll accept her no matter what so that she'll admit and divulge all the lies and deceit about her and VP, like really not being his daughter. Wouldn't this twist be cool? Lol

 

At one point,  I thought that she may have been JS sibling. That JS mom had been pregnant with YR and that was the real reason she left JS and dad. YR mom was her adopted mom and SJ found out about it but couldn't defend the "affair" misunderstanding cause he'd have to tell truth about who YR really was and was afraid of devastating JS. But think SJ and JS now working together makes more sense.

 

I've had so many different theories going through my head when watching this show, especially the first 8 episodes thinking it has to be something more and  that it's not just an affair...lol

Even if not affair, don't think it justified all the hurt he caused wife.

I think this time she will not let sung jun go atleast to yuri. Because Yuri Did her very dirty with that message.

 

Thats was some next level mind game right there that crack the already half broken ship between sung jun and jung sun. 

 

After Jung sun knew about the truth and with that slap because of that message destroy the ship completely with no return back for both of them. If yuri didnt send that message then most likely this wont happen to jungsun. 

 

Sung jun already try to come clean with yuri after jung sun begging him for another chance. But she still clinged hard with sung jun and dont want to let him go thats why she did that.

 

Ah i should have know this from earlier. Although i do think that i almost didnt see anyone see this coming ( before yuri reveal as the mistress ) the writter and director is briliant to bring up and build the story behind this. 

 

The drama that keep getting better and better ( and painful for jungsun ) 

 

I do really wish that both sung jun and jung sun can fix their relationship and have a fresh start together. It is really unfortunate about the timing for both of our lead.

Wifey tears off the divorce papers after she learnt that YR was the one who sent the text because she prepares to fight back and goes down together. By proceeding to the divorce, it's meant YR will gets what she wanted and hubs will be free to be with YR. But by keeping hubs tied down in a marriage from hell, YR will be forever the other woman and as an heir from a big fortune, YR can't afford to get involves in that kind of scandal. Next episodes will be great showdown between Team Wifey and Team Mistress....
