I was doing some calculations. JS miscarried in Fall 2018, she found out about the two pieces of rubbish in spring 2019? Are the dates right?

That really is not long to get over postpartum blues. The husband could not keep his zipper up for a few months?

In SJ’s defense, he never intended to lie to JS about his father or purposely kept it a secret from her. It’s just a survival mechanism that he’s worked into his life, ie.denying his father’s existence. It is what he told everyone as he grew up. Something he wants to erase forever from his life.

I cannot imagine, given his characteristic, how he could bring it up to his wife, or maybe like “oh btw, I actually have a father, but because my mother is the mistress, that makes me an illegitimate son. Don’t tell anyone about it okay. Coz I am only telling you, and you alone, since you’re my wife. Remember that no one is supposed to know I have a father who is still living okay, because I already told everyone else that my father is dead. Thank you for understanding.” *kiss :phew:

"I was hurting for her".   That said it all.  SJ is dead to me.

At this point I don't care if he comes to his senses by the end of this drama.  Can we put this whole sordid mess into perspective?  His wife nearly lost herself after the miscarriage, went through depression and probably felt a terrible sense of guilt. But he has the nerve to tell her that he was "hurting" for his mistress?????

I'm sorry, but the writers have lost me.  Up till now the words...I love my mistress has ingeniously been avoided.  With this one revelation all bets are off.  When a guy feels that much depth for a woman he's hooked.  The hurt in JS's eyes said it all.  Yet she still felt the need to ask..."You still love her, right?"  Like she wouldn't let herself believe what she knew in her heart.  THAT was heartbreaking.

I will stop watching this drama.   I was already getting irritated with who's the mistress mystery and once we found out who it was it hasn't gotten any better.  I'll continue checking this forum to read your comments which I find way more entertaining than the real thing.

I am going to write a script for people who want JS and SJ to get back together.

JS goes to Ulsan to her new post - sad and crestfallen. Why is she still working for that company?

She finds out she is pregnant!! With twins. How about triplets?

Meanwhile, SJ and YR are busy preparing for their wedding. The team members at the office are fuming. Then just as YR is fitting her wedding gown - shouldn't  be white, Should it?  . SJ's lawyer realises that the divorce documents are not signed by him and stamp says something. Anyway, the papers are not valid. So he dashes to Ulsan with a new set and almost has a heart attack when he sees JS. Then he begs her to take him back, she smiles sweetly at him and says pee-off- you-scum. :P So sorry I lied about her taking him back. You have to write your own script for that. :w00t:

I think, what disappoint JS the most is when SJ not telling the truth about the affair. He said want to come clean with it, but disappointing JS over and over again. JS somehow know there is a share for the affair, she is not available emotionally and physically for a year for SJ. But, she put her trust all over SJ in 1 year.. She believed their love is pure and strong enough for him to hold on.

I totally blame YR. She know SJ is married, having a good wife. Even is she saw how painful /sad SJ is, she should not taking any advantages of his states of mind.

He is a weakling and he isn't even that good at his job.  He is adequate but not exceptional. Jung Sun and Hyun Ah are often more effective and have better ideas than him

Maybe you forget that they work as a team. No one is considered better than anyone else. Even the guys who clean up after an event do their job as a team. If they fail everyone takes collective responsibility and rejoice together when they succeed. On one occasion ( I can't remember which episode) I think the VP congratulate JungSun after an event and she told him it was a team effort. In a team it's wrong to think that you are better then everyone else. Just for talk sake I think HyunA is better than JungSun. I'm wondering why JungSun was promoted first instead of HyunA. Maybe it was SungJun deal with the VP and why SungJun is doing the VP bidding. Anyway I noticed on two occasions when an event came up  SungJun tells HyunA to report to JungSun first because she is one rung above her and I saw that look on HyunA face.

I am drawn,  like a moth to a flame. Even though i'm not sure I want to continue watching each episode as they are released or wait until all episodes are available, I find myself hovering over the play button for episode 11.

Like many of you,  I'm surprisingly emotionally beat but I shouldn't be.  I watched the "special" video of the cast preshooting and teasers, shoot I even read the synopsis! Yet here I am in  disbelief.  I, like many of you am torn deep down inside, I can't and refuse to believe the premise,  that this man is cheating on his beautiful, intelligent, charismatic, and kind wife. It just doesn't make any sense, even if all signs point yes, and the guilty party isn't denying it either. I think a major contributor to this dilemma is that it brings out our most basic intrinsic wish and belief; that all human beings are inherently decent/good,  that everyone deserves fair play, and justice. And as we see a good person (JS)  being put through the ringer,  by her own husband no less, our minds refuse to acknowledge what is in front of us.

I'm still waiting for a backstory that would make me say,  he didn't betray her after all.   But I remind myself that betrayal comes in many forms and faces. Even if he didn't betray her in the sense that he didn't have an "affair", he has continuously lied to her, hurt her,  hasn't provided emotional support or relief,  and became emotionally invested in someone else other than his wife.

Now I know that I'm pointing out  a lot of his faults/mistakes so some are thinking what about her,  she's not blameless in the breakdown of their marriage.  And to that I'd say, her biggest cross to bear is her part in the communication breakdown.  But unlike him,  she owns her richard simmons and even carries the guilt that she may have driven him to another woman.  She tells him that herself,  and even though she's telling him all this, he still can't come out and tell her the entire truth. I guess to do that it would require him to put some big boy underwear on and unfortunately for him,  he wasn't around when they were giving them out that day.  Ha!

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share some of the thoughts running through my head as I am about to start episode 11. And as I press play,  I say to myself,  be still my beating heart, it will only be an hour! Lol

I think that we see her in fall of 2018 right before her miscarriage. Then we see that in spring 2019 he goes to his dad’s funeral. However, JS says it was a year of grieving for her. So I’m guessing that the scenes that opened the drama are right after she decided to

move forward. Which also means that the affair was going on for several months.

after looking on epi 12 preview i think mina will tell njs what she saw at that night, and what make njs surprised i think it is not mina who sent the message thru her computer but yuri. from the preview it look in flashback psj asked yuri to stop the affair but yuri dont want to end their relationship (and mina watched this). and connecting that fact with what yuri said to vp that psj will divorce njs so she can be with psj while she definitely heard psj said it wont happened.

and seeing psj face expression when he left yuri in her mom ward that look like angry, i think yuri already planned to make psj divorce njs since the beginning, and there must be something that she has that can make psj chose to comfort her. maybe she threatened psj or maybe she has mental disorder that can harm other people. maybe she is psycho. she has her own delusion abt love and planned to make him as her own.

i think i still believing what LSY said in kakao talk interview when the mc asked abt the message, he said what if the message is not true but then he stopped to continue because he think it is spoiler.

OMG, the preview for episode 12?!! I can't,  I just can't even! His divorce hasn't even been finalized or filed and he says,  I plan on being with YR?!!! Wow!

Then YR tells him we still love each other,  whether it's present time or a flashback, it seems to me that he has told her he loves her.  Also holding her hand,  I mean you just had the talk with your wife the night before.  Really???!!! Everything feels so rushed, from it being a secret and being over to just let's be together,  touching,  and out in the open?!!! What the hell did I miss?

On top of that, writers need to come up with new material.  I'm sooo over the repeated abuse and hurt to JS, same crap different day! Yes I cried,  but seems like senseless fillers, like thats the transition thats supposed to explain why he's now with YR? We're on episode 12 and the storyline, like many have started to say is dragging.  It's like what's another way to make our heroine suffer in this episode.  I mean really?!! I really wish,  we'd move beyond hurting JS with something new everyday.  Give us time to watch her pick herself up from the lowest depth,  to watch her redefine and find herself,  and like a phoenix rise from the ashes! She is after all the heroine in this drama.

@MrsSoJiSub have you finished watching with subtitles and are you sticking to your original overview or do you have different thoughts, especially with preview of episode 12? Also, any thoughts of how this series could wrap up without it being a huge let down?

This writer had indeed done a fantastic job  - it triggers the audience emotional responses and curiosity.  It's like a roller coaster ride when watching this drama.

The best part was both the husband and wife confrontation for today EP on last part : blame each other and avoid problem, all gradually surface out, these are very common in any couple arguments. It really nail down part of the problems but still left unsolved because the husband walked out the place and further hurt deeply to the wife. Very sad, when husband can't even give a direct answer whether he still love her! (The husband chose to stay with the mistress). Wait....wait, we are only at EP 11, the writer's intention is to let us hold our breathe and emotion until the end...because there are many questions still need to answer and unfold. I enjoyed the writer that used the metaphor/technique of onion peeling in telling story so as to describe the characteristics of insight-focused and we can seek to peel back layers of experience to reach better understanding of the story. No matter how the ending will be (whether there is a twist or it meets most audience in favour of), I like this writer making the story unusual and enjoyable one because it really connect to the audience emotional responses. It hits the hot button that creates the controversy and stirs up strong emotions for the audience. It's a true reflection for all couples that are facing. It's a challenge for writer to write up this sensitive but related topic that close to our heart.

In my opinion, there should be a key message to take away at the end of the EP. Stay tune, Chingu, we should appreciate for the effort and the intelligent work done collectively by the writer, the actors, and the entire crew team so far.

I really don't want too clever scripts for KDs. Something I could watch while preparing my dinner or watching with my neighbour. This series keeps me glued to my hp or PC too long, bad for my eyes and my heart.

I expect to get heart burns from Sophocles, Wasserstein, Pinter etc. but no KDramas. Of course, not 'Everbody says Kungdari' level either.:D

This is insane... What a remarkable page boost in just one night! I love this vibe! But I hate the way the plot is heading..

So, Na Jung Sun's miscarriage is really unfortunate!! I think it made her somewhat selfish! And I am not married yet so I am not that sophisticated to get na Jung Sun's feelings... But I can say this!! In this case, both the wife & the husband is wrong! After the miscarriage, the wife chose to sleep in baby's room, apart from her husband & neglecting all his basic human needs..! And then the husband was all alone for months without his wife on his side & he just ended up loving another woman who listen to his heart! :(

I am not particularly blaming on anyone here.. I am just saying that you both should have a great communication if you are married! And it's the thing they don't have.. They got all it wrong from the beginning! At this rate, I am not interested in how they end up in the finale eps.. But just wanna see how the writer's gonna wrap up all these messes one by one.. :o

Happy day, guys...!

Looking back at the preview (cant afford to watch whole episode) the last scene in preview JS and YR wear the same coat the day JS receive the message (flashedback scene) . Then its possible YR send the message to destroy JSxSJ marriage so that she can get SJ when they divorce.. If its true, YR totally manipulative person..
