SBS’s “VIP,” starring Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon, is continuing its steady rise in viewership ratings, solidifying its spot as the No. 1 Monday-Tuesday drama!

According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s November 4 broadcast recorded an average of 6.0 and 8.0 percent in nationwide viewership ratings, its highest yet. In its most-viewed minute, the drama rose as high as 10.9 percent.

Meanwhile, KBS2’s “The Tale of Nokdu” recorded 4.6 and 6.4 percent viewership, and in cable broadcasting, JTBC’s “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” hit 3.2 percent, while tvN’s “Catch the Ghost” hit 3.0 percent.

Just watched ep 5-6 eng subbed & I am really confused! What that husband really is?! His actions are so unclear & incomplete!  Na Jung Sun doesn't deserve him at all! Seriously how many women does he have an affair with??! And I am stuck in between Song Mi Na & Lee Huyn A! Both women look selfish & arrogant! 

 

And Jang Na Ra's facial impressions are looking real rather than an acting! I am pretty impressed by her choice this time! She really looks lie a married woman here! But I really don't know what difficulties you face when you get married as I am not yet! But I know one thing.. You don't lie to people you love.. This husband doesn't love his wife. He said that it was an accident & now it is over! Then what's all secrecy is all about?! You can clearly start over again with your wife! But no.. He is playing with so many women!  he is disgusting but my heart hurts a lot so I don't believe anything about him yet! I need more eps to decide on him!

 

And he looks formal in everything, working, talking, looking etc... I guess too much formal is too bad for your marriage! If you want a healthy marriage life in a rosy path, you have to get the desires of your woman! Otherwise you will get that every rose has its thorn!  In that case, I can't wait to see how rosy Jung Sun turns out to be a thorn in his way!

SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “VIP” entered the list at No. 5. Jang Nara and Lee Sang Yoon, who play a secretive couple that works with VIP clients at a high-end department store, claimed the No. 7 (for JangNara) and No. 10 (for LeeSangYun) spots, respectively, in the buzzworthy actors ranking.

as husband and wife we have to be honest with each other. There is no hidden secret between us.

 

but that is not the case for SungJun(LSY) & JungSoon (JNR).  Keeping a secret from your spouse is a big mistake? I Guess it’s a yes for their case. I tend to believe that SungJun is not having affair with team members...why? He just answered, it’s over and NO to JungSoon & he can’t reveal secret which will cause more pain to JungSoon!  I have the feeling that SungJun is protecting his wife...JungSoon

After watching up till ep 3, somehow, he may has an affair. He said it more like accident can be true, he may drunk at that time, and was trapped. Not sure how and when the relationship with the other women over. But that may be the start of weird message JS received. The women want to destroy JS and SJ marriage. ( Maybe one of their VIP client) 

 

As the other female colleagues in their team, they may have asked SJ for help for their personal problem. Thats why they constantly text him. 

 

The key of marriage is communication, their ack of communication is the key that start all these. Just like JNR prev drama Go Back Couple, their marriage in verse of collapsing as lack of communication. The marriage saved when they open more and talk from heart to each other. We may has different view and opinion of certain things and different approach.

SJ may have making bad decision and repeatedly making bad bad decision as he view, he want to protect JS feeling. If he just telling the truth from the start, JS may taking it a differently.

I believe you need some experience with relationship to really feel JungSun's pain. It likely that she wasn't happy in the marriage. High paying but stressful job, a Mother in-law who comes in unannounced on top of that trying very hard to get pregnant. 

 

On the other end its kind of hard of me to hate SungJoon. It would have been easy if he was the type that even made side glances or friendly exchanges with other three women. But this guy is frowning all the time.

 

Have to watch ep4 to know more. Previews can be misleading, so i will not fall for that SungJoon kissing the three ladies.

Well, he did admit he had an affair so that part of my thinking was wrong. The blackmailing part holds true. I am truly disappointed. 

I am finding our heroine torturing herself trying to figure out who it was. I would ask him directly if I were her.

@sin hoonsim I disagree. All couples have some secrets they don’t share. Very few people really share everything about themselves. My parents were happily married until one passed away, but one of them made some bad financial decisions without telling the other until it came crashing down on them. They got through it, but man it wasn’t pretty. 
 

and like all of you, I’m DYING to know what’s really going on with SJ. I don’t think he’d lie about cheating if he didn’t and he loved his wife. That’s too big a risk to take. I also think that perhaps this couple lost a child because of the locked room they’ve shown twice now. It’d be understandable that going through a tragedy their relationship becomes strained. Perhaps he was trying to be strong for his wife and not show his grief and thus fell into another’s arms in a weak emotional moment that he let himself grieve. That could explain the accident and the kind of coldness between what seems like a happy couple.

This drama keeps reeling us in! I can't wait for next week's episodes. 

 

I'm still torn on if he did cheat or not with everything that they are teasing us with. Like who text him saying that they miss him in last week's episode? Was it for him or was it for someone else he's covering up for? Who was the person who supposedly caught him in the office that night? That person was sneaking into the office at that time. Was it Hyun Ah? Stealing stuff to sell?

 

I don't think he's having/had an affair with a woman on the team though. I feel like each have their own secrets and that's why they come to him or he is somehow related like dealing with his supervisor's mistress. 

 

Someone mentioned Mi Na possibly being pregnant and that could be why she is trying so hard to get a promotion before others find out. With JS having gone through a miscarriage, it would be hard to tell her that she's pregnant but might be easier to tell SJ? In the character bio, it said JS was getting tired of trying too. 

 

Having been in a relationship and finding out that my ex-bf cheated on me, it was rough. There was doubts at all times. You try to see if you can make it work and get pass it. In my case, I found out after the fact and when we had already reconciled to try again. What JS is going through reminds me of that past. IMO, it just can't work since I did try and realized once a cheater, always a cheater. It definitely would feel like a bigger betrayal from a husband of so many years. I'm loving how Jang Nara is portraying her character so well! She's doing an excellent job. I do fear that even though he may not have cheated, the lies and secrets he's keeping will eventually tear them apart and I don't see a happy ending for our couple  Still rooting for them in real life!!

I can't do this drama.....this forum has it at 16 episodes and I hope it stays that way because other sites have it at 32 episodes. I'm not about to wait every episode of a woman torturing herself because of a man. Hire a DAMN detective to follow him and finish this drama in 2-4 episodes lol.

I think he cheated on her, there are many ways unfortunately to go about it, he could flirt another or just kiss another
