I can’t wait for this drama to start. I’m a fan of Jang Na Ra and I just love her since I first watch her in “Fated to Love You”. Since then, I’ve watched her in pretty much every tv series I can get a hold of where she’s the FL - “Go Back Couple”, “School 2013”, “One More Happy Ending” (I especially love this one and her chemistry with her ML who’s so handsome), “Babyfaced Beauty” and “The Last Empress” (I don’t especially like this since I didn’t ship her love story with the King because any spouse abuse, even if there’s repentance in the end, is not cool in my book).

I think she’s gorgeous. And more and more so as she age.

Go, Jang Na Ra. Fighting!

I've seen multiple JNR's interviews in the past and I've noticed she seems to have been a little awkward and a little reserve toward her previous co-stars. She looks very comfortable with LSY and she has a lot of skinship going on with him offscreen ( such as high five, hitting him, etc..).  I would not be surprised if these two become reel after this show ends.

@sksen I'm seriously shipping this couple for real. The more I learn about them, the more optimistic I am. Their parents want them to get married, they've remarked that they should get married, they're both christian, he's the same age as her, they're reserved, and they look good together! She totally leaned into him at the BBQ place in Masters in the House and she's already gotten so comfortable with him like you mentioned :)

Lee Chung Ah, Shin Jae Ha, and Pyo Ye Jin Are Professionals From Head To Toe In Upcoming Drama “VIP”

SBS’s upcoming drama “VIP” has released new stills featuring Lee Chung AhShin Jae Ha, and Pyo Ye Jin.

“VIP” tells the story of a team that manages VIP clients at a department store. Lee Sang Yoon plays the team leader Park Sung Joon, and Jang Nara plays his colleague and wife Na Jung Sun.

New stills have been released of Lee Chung Ah looking completely professional in her stylish suit and glasses. Her character Lee Hyun Ah is the team’s trendy and brilliant ace, and she has recently returned to work after taking a year off following a scandal with her superior. In the stills, Lee Hyun Ah has returned to the office after receiving an emergency call during the weekend, making viewers curious about the office life of Sungwoon Department Store’s VIP management team.

After wrapping up her first filming, Lee Chung Ah shared, “Lee Hyun Ah is a character who doesn’t express her emotions and seems cold on the outside, but she’s someone who’s also similar to Lee Chung Ah on the inside, so the process of making the character was very fun and exciting. I’ve taken on warmer and simpler characters in the past, so I’m thankful for the ‘VIP’ team for letting me take on Lee Hyun Ah. I’ll do my best and focus on acting.”

Meanwhile, Shin Jae Ha will be taking on the role of the new employee Ma Sang Woo who has lived comfortably while receiving a prestigious education starting from elementary school all the way to college. However, after joining the VIP management team, Ma Sang Woo has to be cautious of his actions around his superiors.

In his new stills, Ma Sang Woo looks down because he was at a loss as to what to do after taking on a difficult task. Ma Sang Woo has his hands folded modestly in front of his superiors, and even while using his laptop, he has his ears peeled to take note of his superiors’ passing words.

Shin Jae Ha shared, “It’s always exciting and nerve-wracking to work with the senior actors I’ve always wanted to work with. I’ll work hard in order to not become a burden on the project. As the youngest on the VIP management team, I hope that the viewers can laugh every time I appear. Please look forward to [the drama] since Ma Sang Woo has many aspects that are similar to me.”

The production team added, “From the first filming, Shin Jae Ha has perfectly portrayed Ma Sang Woo who is completely different from the cold and sharp image [Shin Jae Ha] showed in his previous project.”

Finally, Pyo Ye Jin has taken on the role of the contract employee Ohn Yoo Ri who’s become a tough person due to the difficult life she’s lead since birth. In order to grasp on to the first opportunity she’s come across in life, Ohn Yoo Ri works hard to overcome all sorts of hurdles. The new stills of Pyo Ye Jin show her character looking very nervous on her first day of work for the VIP management team.

Pyo Ye Jin shared, “This is a project I really wanted to do since the moment I saw the script. I think it’s such a fortune to be able to do [this project]. Since it’s a character I haven’t done before, I think it’ll be a challenge, and I’m working with excitement and nervousness because I think I’ll be able to show a new side of me.” She also shared that she’s filming with a happy heart thanks to the fellow actors and staff.

Jang Nara To Reunite With “The Last Empress” Child Star Oh Ah Rin In “VIP”

Child actress Oh Ah Rin will be reuniting with her “The Last Empress” co-star Jang Nara in the upcoming drama “VIP”!

“VIP” is a new SBS melodrama about the hidden secrets of a team that handles VIP clients at a department store. Jang Nara will star as the smooth-talking, highly competent Na Jung Sun, whose world is turned upside down when she receives a mysterious text message about her husband and team leader Park Sung Joon (played by Lee Sang Yoon) that throws her seemingly perfect marriage into peril.

On October 17, the upcoming drama revealed a sneak peek of Oh Ah Rin’s cameo appearance, which will bring the two “The Last Empress” stars back together on screen for the first time in eight months.

Oh Ah Rin will play the role of a neighborhood kid who ends up getting Na Jung Sun to buy her ice cream. While feeding a stray cat, Na Jung Sun will notice and confront a young girl who’s been following her—before ultimately treating the kid to ice cream and affectionately wiping her face with a smile.

According to those present during filming, Jang Nara couldn’t hide her excitement at seeing Oh Ah Rin again from the moment that the young actress arrived on set. Thanks to their lasting bond from “The Last Empress,” the two co-stars also reportedly displayed a natural, intuitive chemistry from the get-go, bringing their scenes to life in an instant with their perfect teamwork.

The producers of “VIP” remarked, “Thanks to the exceptional chemistry between Jang Nara and Oh Ah Rin, the atmosphere on set rose to new heights.”

They went on to add, “Oh Ah Rin, who received praise for her skillful acting in ‘The Last Empress,’ will appear towards the beginning of the drama and improve its quality with her cute presence.”
