Exactly. I also don’t like when pregnancy or kids is used as a reason to stay married even when it is clear as sunny day that the marriage is toxic and the spouse didn’t love us like before. 
 

its almost 2020. Something needs to changed. Not all divorcée are un happy. Divorce and separation is not a bad thing. To stay married with no love and respect is the wrong thing.

JS pregnancy has been a speculation.. She may just know when she saw the doctor to get IV drip. A pain killer like paracetamol usually save for pregnacy..

 

Just my theory, JS fall might be at the end of ep15.. In between, we can see SJxYR relationship been exposed to public by director Bae. Thats why YR has been desperate for JS to sign the divorce paper. 

 

If SJ and the mistress secret account to be reveal, it can stain SJ reputation eventually VP reputation.. So will not being successor of Sung Un. I dont know about VP's wife decision when JS asked her if she exposed the affair the secret account, VP will drag in mess (which he created himself) also, eventually effect VP's wife.

There are times when i want them to stay together. Some Married couples survive affairs but after watching what SJ did to JS, I am having 2nd thoughts. I want JS to be with someone who will appreciate her. Who will love and trust her. Who will move mountains just not to hurt her

Not bashing anyone because I know enough to separate an actor from his character. PSJ is not a one dimension character as we can tell from the info we have about him, his thoughts (from what he told his friend) and from others' descriptions about him. And if he can't make an audience, me in this case, believe all that about the character then that is bad acting to me. I do not hate LSY, I actually started liking him after watching Masters. Since bad acting is not an acceptable word then I shall change it to inconsistent. LSY is fully capable of convincing the audience with the first few episodes but as the number of eps grows his awkwardness becomes more obvious. A good actor (general term not to distinguish between gender and not targeting a specific person) does not and cannot depend on facial expressions alone. Eyes and body language are equally important. Example: the scene where JS saw SJ in the hallway, JNR didn't have to ask "Who are you? But the way she looked at her husband as if she was truly seeing him for the first time. I could feel multiple questions running through her mind at the time? Who is this man? Do I know him like I thought I did? 

Anyway, it is normal to see 

People with comments about an actor's acting will be claimed as antifan/hater or mixing up character with the actor themselves. People who counteract will be claimed as defensive fans. Let's us all agree to disagree as we all are unique and have our own opinions.

After saw the last ep,  

I don't know why but i want VP and SJ actually lied to YR that she was the biological child of the VP.  But actually,  VP and SJ just fake the papers in order to use her to get the company. 

And then,  VP and SJ things get exposed,  VP didn't feels the need to let YR in the company, so he just said that YR is the one who bring the fake papers and made him believe she is his daughter. 

 

And then the heartbroken YR, gets kicked out by the company. And no company wants to hire her.  And she go backs to her real life.

Geez. I am a traumatised new viewer. First off kudos to the cast for their job. And the leads for picking a challenging role. I am not even speculating on what the ending will be like. I am traumatised how tense it is.

 

It's giving me PTSD from work when an office infidelity occurs. I work in a big department with over 300 staff. Of course we will always have fresh graduates. But somehow making the couple work together and have people discover the affair. And pick sides and then having to work with both of them. Yikes. I do not like this feeling; it reminds me of the super awkward time when the news just broke. Or a marriage ends. God this show males me anxious. I don't like the memories. People- it totally sucks being a bystander to the train wreck in progress. 

 

To be honest, the fall preview? I actually feel for the stunt person. That is the fastest, hardest landing roll down stairs I've seen. Is the stunt person ok?

 

I like LSY the actor. I despise PJS. How in the world can I expect any wife to return to this sort of husband. He has such low morals, can be tempted, zero personal ethics about what kind of person he is, corrupted and capable of doing illegal acts. Since the law against adultery was only abolished recently. And corruption at work is a no- no for me.

 

Now excuse me while I actually go back to another old drama where the 2 leads HAVE happy endings. Cos' there is no way the couple can reconcile. And I don't want them to. And the blatant female party of the cheating couple has zero morals or conscience as well.

 

Crikey. Good drama. However relaxing and entertaining? So not so.

I hear you. I struggle with the way he treats her as well but there’s something there. He’s not comfortable with her. If you look back at the way he acted with JS in the beginning of their relationship (there’re not that many scenes), you can clearly see that he has more expressions than a blank stare.

 

He’s free now. He can laugh, kiss and just hug her but he doesn’t. Even when he’s showing some affection- it seems so forced and awkward. Compare that to the new couple and the contrast is day and night. 

 

Pregnancy or not, I don’t want JS to end back with him. He doesn’t deserve her and he’s shown that over and over again. Even if he was infatuated with YR in beginning but never had any intentions to leave his wife before he was forced to- the way he chose to shut his wife out without any clear reasons is disgusting. To blame her depression on the fall of their marriage without taking any responsibility for his part is reprehensible to me. You don’t run away when things get tough. Mi Na and her husband has shown us how to really work things out when a marriage hits a difficult patch. 

 

As for LSY’s acting, I don’t know what to say about that. I’ve seen him in About Time and he can clearly show emotions there so it might as well be the writing/director-thing. Plus there are a lot of holes in this story. For one, I want to know when SJ took his ring off. We’ve seen JS struggle taking it off but what happened to SJ’s scene?

The reasons for hating a character can be varied. It is either well or poorly written, well or poorly portrayed, the character itself is despicable. But it is sad that people mixed up their feelings and used them the wrong way. I do feel bad for him being the target of such behavior.

I only see what looks like brother-like affection from SJ to VR. absolutely no passion in their interactions...and should be lots at this stage of their relationship.Wonder if when reviewing the CCTV SJ saw something we don't know. Are the clenched hands anger? ok, maybe doesn't make sense with timelines etc..but will help me get to next week and the final two episodes.

Yes, the matchmaker taped their conversation...wonder what was said???  For 14 episodes i have, flipped flopped about SJ.  Idk.  I think he is just not a nice guy.  The writer wrote him this way so we would feel this way about him and just like JS, we never really saw the true person until this episode, just like her in this episode.  A small part of me hopes i am wrong but idt so.

@mellinadear @at2005 I don't understand this hate and bashing to LSY, the actor either. People need to differentiate between acting and as a fellow human being. I'm pissed and feel bad for him for getting this behaviour just because of his work. 

 

The character was written that way so that we, the audience along with JS find out the truth, secrets and lies. And let's be honest, we don't even what else he is hiding now lol. If an actor/actress makes your BP boil and still tune in for the next episode, they are doing a fabulous job. 

 

@Maureen Mckay So true and you are right. For the first time, she is seeing him for who he is, not the one she knew for 10 years from her perspective. And you know what the worst part is, everyone knew except for her and that truly hurts. 

 

True, SJ is not a nice guy. But he is also a coward and doesn't know how to clean up the consequences of his actions. It's true that he had an affair. But when JS gave him another chance for their marriage after she found out about the affair, he really meant to work it out with her but you know as usual, he screwed up the moment he said he is not hiding anything from her. I Iant his perspective for the remaining episodes since we now know what he was truly hiding. 

 

As for the YR answer with the matchmaker, I'm curious as well. 

 

@NAB Yep, she can't be pregnant. I don't think they even slept together after JS decided to move on from the baby room. That's why she was excited about their wedding anniversary which got ruined.

Y’all, if you support LSY send him some love. This is really crazy how people react to the actor because of the role he/ she is playing. 
Go watch him on episode 98 of “Masters in the “House”. He is smiling and laughing as he reels in a big fish.This is the real LSY.

Its hilarious... im not sure why this drama is getting high ratings; maybe because its winter and people dont want to go out often hence are watching this highly irritating drama... indeed, one can get high blood pressure from the slow episodes and the content as we all love a happy drama where husbands dont cheat but VIP is about a drama showing the audience how a husband cheats with his colleague and torments his innocent wife......

 

it is unfortunate that LSY is getting the hate, globally, for his role as PSJ.... its okay, its only a drama LSY, now people know u as a handsome man cheater, ... is it your 1st evil role? 

 

I just wanna read the drama ending on this thread... rather than watching it... i have given up earlier on... kudos to those who have the strength to carry on and increased their blood pressure because of the drama...

I think those people who sent hate/love mails to actors knew what they were doing. They must enjoyed it. Even Hollywood actors experience the effects of  the roles they played. I  can't remember who but he was very adamant about accepting only hero roles. 
LSY knows now to demand a lot more money for negative roles in future.
