Jang Nara Rides Her Motorcycle In The Rain To Help Shin Jae Ha In “VIP”

“VIP” has released its first stills of Jang Nara and Shin Jae Ha!

 

This upcoming SBS drama is about a task force in charge of taking care of a department store’s VIP clients, and it tells the stories of working women surviving in the workforce and their marriages.

 

Jang Nara portrays VIP task force leader Na Jung Sun who tries to approach each person with sincerity while Shin Jae Ha appears as the VIP task force’s rookie employee Ma Sang Woo who’s trying to survive day by day at the office. These two characters form a senior-junior relationship as Na Jung Sun acts as an angel-like figure who helps him whenever he finds himself in difficult situations.

 

In the stills, Jang Nara and Shin Jae Ha are caught in the rain. This scene is when Na Jung Sun rides a motorcycle in the rain to come to Ma Sang Woo’s rescue. Wide-eyed and in shock, Ma Sang Woo looks at Na Jung Sun who appears in front of him after taking off her helmet. Na Jung Sun is soaked from head to toe, but smiles at the colleague standing before her.

 

 

This scene was filmed at Gimpo International Airport in May. Jang Nara is too afraid to even ride a merry-go-round, but she received advice in order to portray Na Jung Sun whose hobby is riding motorcycles. The actress used her research to come up with poses and gestures and practiced multiple times as soon as she arrived on set.

 

She also put water on her hair and clothes in order to act out the scene in the rain, and Shin Jae Ha perfected his lines. After it began raining, the two actors immersed in their characters and completed the shoot in one take.

 

A source from the drama said, “Jang Nara and Shin Jae Ha made this scene shine even more with their physically-unsparing passion. Please look forward to the special chemistry between the professional senior and troublemaker youngest employee.”

Well, talk about finding out on your anniversary that your husband is cheating on you. What a mess. I truly hope he didn't cheat on her and that it's just someone who wanted to break their marriage. Because who won't be jealous of them? Fingers crossed.

Pics from the press con... And Jang Nara is waering an office robe as I assumed! I saw her as an active actress in all her press conferences so far but today she' looks so shy for some reason!!!  Is it because of Lee Sang Yoon?? Ha ha ha..

Lee Sang Yun & Jang Na-ra Compare Themselves to Their Characters in 'VIP'

 

The press conference for SBS' office drama 'VIP' took place at SBS Hall, Seoul.

 

'VIP' will depict the mysterious lives of a team at a department store that manages VIP clients.

The Monday-Tuesday drama is set to be unveiled on October 28 at 10PM KST.

 

Q: Are there any similarities and differences between yourself and your characters?

 

Lee Sang Yun: At first, I thought my character was incredibly similar to myself except for the fact that he was quiet and kept his feelings to himself.

 

But as the story went on, he seemed more and more different, especially when seeing the kind of decisions he made.

 

If I say I felt like we were about 80 percent similar to each other in the beginning, it went down to like 30 to 40 percent towards the end of our shooting.

I saw a new trailer, apparently he really cheated on her, or he had it before or he must have had sex with each of the girls working with his wife, surely one of them being jealous sent a message to his wife

The long trailer you mean? I thought that scene was just an imagination of Jang Nara character of her husband cheating on her with that lady who came back from her vacation due to scandal. Maybe I'm wrong.

 

But yeah, I'm going with an ex-girlfriend from the team lol. They really were jealous to send that message on her wedding anniversary. But that mother in law of hers is also suspicious in my book . I want the dude to be clean so that our FL doesn't lose trust in her marriage.

Jang Nara And Kwak Sun Young Team Up To Get To The Bottom Of A Hunch In “VIP”

 

On October 27, “VIP” shared new stills of Na Jung Sun and Song Mi Na teaming up to show how skilled they are as members of the VIP task force. A customer applies for concierge service but the pair feel that something is off and secretly chase after the customer to uncover the truth. Na Jung Sun was looking through the VIP service records and felt something was wrong, and she gets Song Mi Na to work with her on her hunch.

 

 

Though this is the first time Jang Nara and Kwak Sun Young are working on a drama together, they quickly became close on set. Their experience in acting shone through as they completed their scenes without any mistakes. The production staff shared, “Jang Nara and Kwak Sun Young work so well together that you wouldn’t believe that it’s their first time working together. They will continue to play out the conflicts that will unfold in the upcoming episodes.”
