New character teasers have been released for tvN’s Her Private Life featuring the two leads, played by Kim Jae-wook (The Guest) and Park Min-young (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim).

The rom-com is about an art curator, Sung Deok-mi (Park Min-young) and the director of an art gallery, Ryan Gold (Kim Jae-wook). Both are well-esteemed and highly capable in their positions. However, in contrast to their more polished work selves, the two also share a common interest in their private life. Sung is a seasoned and full-time fangirl for her idol crush. And Ryan, as it turns out, is a fledgling fanboy who is just starting to learn what it means to be a part of a fandom.

tvN has released the first stills of Park Min Young in upcoming drama “Her Private Life”!

“Her Private Life” is a romantic comedy about Sung Duk Mi (played by Park Min Young), a professional curator at an art gallery who is secretly an idol fangirl, and her boss Ryan Gold (played by Kim Jae Wook). It is directed by producing director Hong Jong Chan and penned by screenwriter Kim Hye Young.

In the photos, Park Min Young shows the professional side of her character Sung Duk Mi. Dressed in colorful suits, she gives off the vibe of a woman with a successful career.

tvN’s “Her Private Life” has revealed stills of Kim Jae Wook from his first day on set for the new romantic comedy.

“Her Private Life” is about Sung Duk Mi (played by Park Min Young), a talented gallery curator who lives a double life as a hardcore idol fan, and Ryan (played by Kim Jae Wook), her rough-on-the-edges boss who becomes a hardcore fan of her.

In the new preview stills, Kim Jae Wook is at a gallery showing, perusing the works of art with a sharp eye amidst the other attendees.

But after all, such heroes are typical characters of Korean doramas. They seem prickly, impregnable, slightly frightening. But it is necessary to appear a girl who they like, as they immediately become sweet, kind, good and vulnerable. Perfect!

That wasn’t my point. I was asking why he always plays these roles. It’s a common trope in Korean rom-coms yes, but plenty of other leading male roles that are very different.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Her Private Life” has unveiled its adorable main poster!

“Her Private Life” is a new romantic comedy starring Park Min Young as Sung Duk Mi, a professional curator at an art gallery who is also secretly a dedicated idol fan. Kim Jae Wook will star as her brusque boss Ryan Gold, who ends up finding out about her hobby and eventually becomes a fan of Sung Duk Mi himself.

On March 22, the drama released its main poster, which highlights its two leads’ entirely different personalities. Sung Duk Mi smiles cheerfully while holding up a huge camera, and although Ryan Gold wears a faintly displeased expression, his soft side shows through in the fact that he’s discreetly helping Sung Duk Mi hold up her heavy camera.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Her Private Life” has released a making video of their first filming that is sure to have everyone fall in love with the lead actors, Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook!

Park Min Young will play Sung Duk Mi, a professional curator at an art gallery who is also secretly an idol fangirl. The actress explained that she tried to show two completely different sides through her role, and she can be seen putting her all into each scene. She makes suggestions on how to make her scenes more believable, and even the director is impressed by her work.

The cast also celebrated Park Min Young’s birthday on set, with the director luring her into a surprise party. The actress danced along as everyone wished her a happy birthday, and she revealed that rather than wishing for good health, she hoped for the drama to do well.

Kim Jae Wook, who will play her boss Ryan Gold, expressed his excitement to be working with Park Min Young and the staff, and he was caring towards everyone on set. He made sure Park Min Young stayed warm during the filming, and  even befriended a stray cat that wandered on set.
