They’re the ‘Avengers’ of child actors

It's so funny ... Just a little, the Koreans immediately call the cool team The Avengers. They sat down on Marvel)) But yes, I am sure that the guys in this drama are the best of the best and they have a great future ahead!:w00t:

I wanted to watch even the raws but couldn't find it. I'm waiting, I want to see Seo Young Joo, the drama it self,  the actors, the younger actors. I'm watching this for the story, the acting,  and it's good watch serious drama that deals with serious topic. I don't have amything against webtoons dramas but I want to watch a youth drama where I can see some good acting.

Waiting for Viki ti sub this.

Wow, what a first episode. Of course, the previews more or less showed how the pilot would go, but that ending!

Spoiler

Clearly the last scene of joon seok(seo dong hyun) falling and bleeding is a dream, but I wonder what it means. I assume it's his mother(jo yeo jeong)'s dream, feeling guilty on behalf of her son's involvement? Is the high heeled lady in the dream her?

I'm most curious about how dong hee (short haired girl) plays a role in uncovering the truth about sun ho's death, and how dong soo(seo young joo) tries to protect her while making his way through the world himself. Can wait to see scenes with park hee soon and seo young joo.

I just realized that the chubby kid is the same actor from The Greatest Love, hyung-gyu a.k.a ding-dong! Anyone else remember that drama? So cool to see some of these child actors more grown up.

1. +503, -25 I can feel that this will become a masterpiece. The actors, especially Chu Jayeon's acting is so good and it's prettily filmed.
2. +248, -4 It's like the reality of our country ㅠ My heart seriously hurts
3. +184, -10 Their acting is really good but I can't watch it because I'm sad and annoyed that the story is about middle school kids. It was hard for me to watch when I was halfway through it
4. +74, -2 I wasn't expecting much but I really fell into it. There's also mystery to it
5. +31, -1 This is a drama that does a good job in portraying the reality. Covering up school violence and even to how guiltless the children are... It's really realistic...
6. +20, -2 I was annoyed because their acting was so good. It's just a drama, but it feels like reality.
7. +10, -1 It'd be nice if there was a 'beautiful world' ㅜ

@jongski, me too. Sadly, they did not even upload the raw episode yet.
Not sure what is up with them. They did same with another new drama recently - uploaded episodes a day later.

Episode 1 s up and subbed on some not-legal sites.  Looks like this is gonna be amazing but also tough to watch.  I'm in the middle of watching but had to take a short break so I could breathe.

This is really hard subject bc this happens really often in real life. I'm a high school teacher and luckily I still haven't seen this bad bullying and kids playing with others life. But I have seen social media bullying and that is also really bad. And the problem is in this time that You as a teacher really can't  do too much.

I finished the raw for episode 2. And yes!!! at the mark 40: 56 second. I saw the first scene of Seo Young Joo. It was the scene with Park Hee Soon. In the school looking out the window He put his arms around him just probably to comfort. I don't know what's going on.  I'm going to wait and watch again ep 2 with sub. I'll wait for more of the scenes and what his character would be like and how involve he will be. He's an orphan, grew up around hash environment of the streets in the care if thugs. Im really curious.

Anyway, after watching the episodes, SH jumped  from the school rooftop trying to commit suicide. School violence  aka bullying  is always number reason when young high school student tries to commit suicide. SH may not recover and if he did he will be in coma. He suffered brain damage.  There is video where he was being bullied. JS  seems to be the instigator. But  the video was on the phone of Yung Chul.  But JS said he also has a copy.  JS  intructed his circle of friends to lie during the interview. Jeon Sook said said they're underage and  they will believe them question or push it.   The one who saw the fall was the wifie of JP who I think is the mother of JS. She panicked. I'm going to suspect that the one who sent the video is either  YC or his mother or JS. Or.....

More than the agony of the mother and the father...what the younger sister  is going through is most said and emotional. She's trying to find out and investigate on her own what could have happened.

In every story there will always be the reason and back story for the victim and the bully. I want to see the back story. There's always a reason why.

Finished ep 2 with subs. There is hope for Seon Ho's parents since now mum has seen the bullying video.

Its interesting that dad's student is related to Seon Ho's classmate. Dad was tending to the student when Seon Ho called, and he ignored his call. Dad's monologue in the car was all sorts of sad and real: 'what could have been if.....'.

From ep 1, i never thought Seon Ho jumped. He was pushed or thrown, but not on his own accord. He had his shoes on the first time his body was shown on the ground. Soon after the camera pans out and shows he is only wearing socks and his shoes are now on the roof. I do think someone else did this to Seon Ho and tried to cover it as suicide. Huhu

The rich kid bully is a sociopath or psychopath (i don't know the difference between the two). He blackmails his friends with the bully video since he is not in the video, he cries on a whim in front of Seon Ho's omma. He is two-faced and conniving. His mum is not better either. She considered pulling Seon Ho's ventilator, in a sense she considered murdering him .

Omo. I just realized rich bully is one of the child actors in The Miracle We Met with Kim Hwan Hee. He was likable in TMWM, but in this drama, even when its only 2 eps in I already dislike his character. Shows that he is doing a great job portraying the bully.

the thing that got me thinking. why did he jump in the school roof? is the school open in the evening in korea?

Constantly open. The lessons there, as I understand it, last as long as in other countries. But then the children sit and sit in school, they myself learn. In most school dorams, children go home late at night, when it is already completely dark ...

This is one of the causes of school violence. They learn too much, spend too much time with each other, they don’t have time to recharge...

JTBC’s newest drama “Beautiful World” is off to a promising start!

“Beautiful World” is about a young boy, who’s on the brink of death due to an incident of school violence, and his family as they pursue truth and justice in his name. The drama will tell the story of people who live with hopes for a “Beautiful World” despite living in a world full of lies, corruption, mistrust, revelations, and apathy towards others’ pain.

According to Nielsen Korea, the April 5 premiere of “Beautiful World” recorded average nationwide viewership ratings of 2.2 percent. This is slightly less than the viewership ratings of the premiere and finale of its previous drama “Legal High,” which recorded 3.3 percent and 2.6 percent, respectively.

I don't know about education in Korea but as portrayed in its dramas it seems that a lot of students go to 2 type of schools. Normal school in the morning and cram school in the evening. They do spend lots of time studying. I studied in boarding school, I somewhat relate to constant studying but fortunately, thankfully I turned out ok and not awfully stressed out or pressured to an extreme.

Anyways, the school rooftop in this drama was actually locked. The teachers talked about it, and they wonder how he got access to the rooftop. Even when In Ha wanted to see the rooftop, the security guard escorted her to open the door.
