Song Wei Long : His Legal Battle With Yu Zheng

 

Song Wei Long's termination lawsuit will take some time.  Which is why he uses this opportunity to go back to school.  I really admire the way he handles his setbacks.  Yu Zheng is such a Wicked Man.

 

Song Wei Long will "probably" not be able to make any New drama or movie this year.  It is even doubtful if he can join  the Lifestyle Variety Show - "Back-To-Field S.6".  It is such a shame.  Because he has received a Movie offer as well as several Drama project proposals.  But we can still watch his movie "Just for Meeting You"  which will premiere on August 4, 2022.

 

He has already set up his Personal Studio.  No longer under any Agency. But since his Name was bought out by Yu Zheng, he could not use it immediately.

Synopsis:

In 2035, the rapid development of Bionic Human Beings which is indistinguishable from Human Images has aroused public concern. 

 

The  "Bright Eyes"  is an organisation which specialises in Android Cases.

 

Team members Cheng Nuo (Song Wei Long) is calm.  And An Qiu is good at empathy.  Facing the constant murder of Android Cases, both  Agents Cheng Nuo and An Qiu work together to uncover the Mystery. The fate of both Human Beings and Androids is being quietly rewritten.

 

In the game between Human Heart and Human Nature, Truth and Tolerance are equally important.  

 

 

 

My Say:  

This kind of reminds me of  Tom Cruise's  "Minority Report".  I like "Minority Report".  So I think I'll love   "Bionic".   Could not wait for it's Premiere.

Well,  "Go Ahead" will be remade in  Turkey, Thailand and South Korea.  It just shows how popular this Drama has been.

Song Wei Long  :  What Kind Of Man Is He Up Against?

 

For  @FavSong_JKWL  Who wants to know:  ""who’s backing him up and keep him in business over there in China? He needs to be cancelled!"

For @jcwsgal  Who says:  "Actually I agree with SWL and want him to sue like this for a long time instead of being in cliff hanging situation ..."

 

And for all of Song Wei Long's Fans, let me explain  what kind of a man is Yu Zheng.

 

YZ started his career in Hong Kong.  He wanted to be an Actor.  But failed miserably.  He returned to China and became a well-known screenwriter in the entertainment industry.

 

Yu Zheng's works have been questioned for plagiarism, stalking, and vulgar plots, and he was even brought to court by Qiong Yao and was sentenced to 5 million in plagiarism compensation.   He was active on social platforms, often causing controversy with "quick talk",  often posted on Weibo hot search, and his words and deeds attracted much attention.

 

Yu Zheng and his works were also boycotted by netizens, while the ratings were still bursting.

 

Yu Zheng's business sector has also expanded its territory, established companies, signed artists and screenwriters, launched blockbuster dramas, and won the popularity of Xiaosheng (handsome young actors), Xiaohua (pretty young actresses), and at the same time, many middle-aged actors' careers have recovered.

 

In 2012, Yu Zheng established Huanyu Film and Television.  According to official data, Huanyu Film and Televison has a production team of 21 people, including 9 contracted screenwriters, including many popular writers from Qidian Chinese, Jinjiang and Xiaoxiang Academy.  He focuses on ancient, romance and time-travel themes.

 

He also participated in a lot of business investments.  He currently works for 19 companies and has actual control over 20 companies.  Huanyu Film and Television, which he actually controls, is developing prosperously and has already become a major taxpayer.  

 

He uses Rookie Actors to save costs.  They can only get one-tenth of the usual income. Because Yu Zheng does not like to pay high salaries to his actors when he is producing his own dramas. For example "Story of Yanxi Palace" has an investment of 300 million yuan.  Actors' remuneration only accounts for 24 million yuan.  He is used to controlling others and likes his charges to be "Obedient".

 

And we have Song Wei Long who dares to talk back and airs his Own Opinions.  So Yu Zheng "Deep Freeze" him.  Song Wei Long has to source for his own works. Yet he has to pay Lucrative Commissions to Yu Zheng.   Who would tolerate this kind of treatment?

 

Song Wei Long signed a "10-Year Contract" with him in October 2015.  At that time Song Wei Long was still a "Minor".  His contract has 3 more years to go.  He is seeking an Early Exit.

 

Song Wei Long is indeed Courageous enough to rise against such a Man.  Let's hope he gets his Freedom soon.

3 more years is a good time to focus on school and skills for SWL, luckily he has a whole life in front of him full of bright promises!!!  Let’s consider this decade of trial as a ‘child’ actor, and SWL has accomplished heck of a lot in a really short time.   It’s now crouching time for our handsome Dragon to prepare for the rest of his life!

@FavSong_JKWL    It is not surprising at all.  Contracts in the Entertainment Circles are usually for 10 years and above.  Some actors even have contracts up to 15, 20 years.  YZ took full advantage of the fact that Song Wei Long is a Minor and have no inkling of the Legal Aspects of the Contract.

 

If you have read my earlier Posts.    Song Wei Long appeared in a Variety Show called "Morning Glory" after "Untouchable Lovers".   He was asked about meeting YZ to sign the Contract.  Song Wei Long said YZ did not say much.  Just emphasise on how much he will earn.

 

As a young and innocent child, he fell into the Trap.    He is not the only one.

@FavSong_JKWL  You are right-on with the photos of Song Wei Long. 

Don't worry.  Even if Song Wei Long is attending class now, he can still make dramas during his Semester breaks.  As for Magazine Shoots and Product Endorsements, he can just take a few days off to attend to them.  This is a common practice with Students of Acting Schools.

 

But first, he has to deal with the Court Case.  That will take some time.  I'm praying for him.

 

I already know to some extent, which College he is attending.  But I still want to Confirm the information before I post them.

 

There is a Dearth of good C-Dramas nowadays.  So I'm re-watching Song Wei Long's works, beginning with "Untouchable Lovers".  I have no complaints with his acting.  He was only 17 years old.  But managed to give a convincing performance of a Cool and Calculated Strategist.

 

If YZ had not messed around with the 2nd Part of "Untouchable Lovers",  Song Wei Long would have "Exploded".   The girl who mascaraded as Princess Chu Yu is supposed to be a Time-Traveller.  And a "Time-Travelling" Theme was still very  "novel"  back then.

 

 

 

After that I shall continue with "Find Yourself" and "Go Ahead".  By which time, I believe his New Works will premiere.

Song Wei Long: Sharing Some Tit-Bits On "Untouchable Lovers" With You All

 

When YZ (I hate to mention his "Fullname") first informed  Song Wei Long  that he will be participating in  "Untouchable Lovers",  he did not tell him which Role?  Just asked him to practise his Martial Arts.

 

So  Song Wei Long  obediently practised Martial Arts for 4 Long Months.  He only knew that he will be the Male Lead, "Rong Zhi" when he reported for work.  Which means he did not have enough time to prepare.

 

Song Wei Long then bought the "Novel" and read it again and again to understand his Role.  He practised his Scripts till late at Night.  But he was "Dubbed".

 

My Say:

1) A good Actor should be able to use his Own Voice, no matter which part of China he comes from, what his original dialect is.  He should be dedicated and committed enough to learn to speak as the Character-Role demands.  And I'm glad  Song Wei Long  is such an Actor.

 

2) Song Wei Long is a Grateful person.  His first boss is from a Micro Video Filming Company called "Cat Tree".  Where he started his acting career in Romantic Micro Videos.  Which led people to conclude that he is a "Love-Brain".  And that his Female Co-Star is his girlfriend.

 

Until today, he is still a good friend with his "Cat-Tree" Boss.

 

 

Sharing with you all below, a  Book-Fan's opinion of  Song Wei Long's acting in "Untouchable Lover" in 2018.

Song Weilong has the maturity and stability that is different from his peers, and the wisdom in appearance, which is also his outstanding charm. Not to mention what Rongzhi is like in the original work, as far as the image and demeanor he plays, I am very satisfied as a drama fan!

This is so random, my apology, but wondering if any one out there also feel that the smoldering sensuality radiated by Song Wei Long is very similar to Timothée Chalamet (american actor) ? And of course no argument here that SWL has muuuuuuch better looking features (IMO) so it’s not the handsome appearance in discussion.

I’m talking about the ‘vibes’, the sultry energy, the vampire-ish gaze that draw you in and have you hypnotized, frozen-on-the-spot kind of attractiveness that I found very similar between the two actors.
.. or maybe I’m just missing Long Long and start seeing him everywhere?!?  LMAO.

@FavSong_JKWL   Not at all.  I have long thought that Song Wei Long  would look Great acting as a  "Dracula".  He has the Height, (Hypnotising) Gaze and the "Forehead"  of a Vampire.  

 

He is the Younger Version of  Christopher Lee - one of the American Actors who had acted as a Dracula.

 

Song Wei Long certainly looks better than Timothee Chalamet.   Pardon me for saying this.  But Western Men lacks the "Fineness" or "Softness" Factor.   And Song Wei Long is the "Cross"  between  Western  and  Asian Males.

Song Wei Long :  The Star  

Dear Friends:

Would you all agree with me.  If I said that YZ's stable of Artistes are such a Boring Lot.  I believe if they have been with other Agencies, they may Never make it.  YZ brings them to the fore via his "REPETITION METHOD" i.e. through his dramas again and again until it happens.

 

I mean who would want to look at Stars like: Nie Yuan, Qin Lan, Wu Jin Yan, Zhang Nan......and his  2 Favourites  (I do not want to mention their names).

 

So if they become Successful, it is Nothing to brag about.

 

To be Honest, I do not want to watch YZ's productions, because it is so BOOOOO  RING - to see the same Faces over and over again.

 

But Song Wei Long is different.  He was being "Pulled Back" and purposely left in the Refrigerator.  And yet he went out to look for work and make it on his own - based on Merits.

 

This Kind Of Success is to be Proud Of.  What do you all think?  Can I have all your Opinions?
