There was a headline circulating yesterday about Robert Pattinson being declared the “most beautiful man in the world” because of science. Something something about a formula that determines facial perfection. RP scored over 92%. Here are the other men whose faces made the math:

Congratulations to Song Wei Long for being selected by the Asian media Starmometer on 6 April, as the 35th place among the "100 Asian Male Heart-throbs" in 2020!  Despite his thick lips, Song Wei Long's smile is captivating and his eyes are peach-shaped and beautiful.

Song Wei Long got 4 new product endorsements after Find Yourself and there are rumours for Origins and Burberry coming too.

 

He placed 3rd on business value for male celeb and potential commercial value for the Q1- 2020, and March 2020.

 

(Song Qian got 1st place on post 80s artists and 4th place on overall list for the whole 1st quarter.) Here I want to explain a bit on male and female popularity.

 

1) It’s much much much easier for males/ actors to get popular ( just imagine we got 2-4 actors hit real big each year in the last few years but only had 2 actresses in the last 4 years). However because of the same reason its also easier for them to get replaced by another new male star. If you notice we have new popular male stars on the top every year when it’s much harder when it comes to females/ actresses.

 

But also because of that, the actress’s position and popularity are much more stable. When the actresses got “fired” they likely to stay in the top list for a long time unless something strange happens. That’s why it will be harder for Bai Lu to get popular compared to Xu Kai. But once she hits it, she will most likely stay longer too. So we just need to pray for that to happen. Lol Why I explain this? Because you might wonder why SWL got more endorsements than SQ but he isn’t in the list of 90s or overall artists commercials value, which is a bigger list . First of all, SQ’s commercial value before FY is already higher. She is ambassador for few luxury brands like Chanel and Jimmy Choo in China and Asia area and have good buying power/ strong fandom .

 

2) Brands tend to sign short- term contract with young newly popular male stars because they aren’t sure how long their popularity will last. If they are still popular after the contract ends, they can extend it. If there are more popular guy appear and people seem to move on from the previous signed actor, they will just sign with new actors.

 

(However with actresses, especially someone with long-time popularity ( 10 years+) and a strong fanbase like Song Qian their contracts likely to be longer. The brands know her popularity and fanbase won’t just disappear 3 months later, right?) 

 

And how you can see some hints of contract terms? If you look at the photos for Song Wei Long’s endorsements, 3 of them were using his old photos and didn’t have a photoshoot or filming for the endorsement (vs All SQ’s endorsements using new photos and have their own endorsement videos in comparison). Only safeguard endorsements has filmimg and new photos taken. So you can feel safe to say Safeguard contract is likely be a longer term vs the other 3. That’s why he is in the potential list and not overall list. Plus overall his endorsements don’t have high value yet. It’s definitely not bad though. Public friendly endorsements help with public recognition. He has potential, but brands will need to watch and see if this popularity will last or become bigger or disappear That’s why his new drama need to come out and do well to keep his “heat” from Find yourself. I want to talk about what a hit project affect their projects ( currently rumored projects) after too. But probably for another post because this is getting too long.

As an actress, Yu Shuxin's acting skills are quite good. Some time ago, she and Song Qian, Song Wei Long and others starred in "Find Yourself", which has won many netizens' love. Recently, Yu Shuxin (she was Cai Min Min in Find Yourself) talked about some of the things which happened when shooting this drama in  the variety show - "You 2".

 

One thing impressed Yu Shuxin very much.  She had not stepped out of the previous role when she first filmed the "Find Yourself".  So she was in a very bad state and particularly frustrated. Yu Shuxin, who was still emotional at the time, began to play against Song Wei Long.  But her condition was not right, so she kept forgetting her script.  As a result they have to repeat that particular scene - 6 times.

 

Repeated shooting will not only make you more and more nervous, but also affect your opponent's emotions. "Longing For Life" (or "Back To Field" S4) is a Variety Show promoting a healthy lifestyle. Song Wei Long took the lead and played too much to make the house tremble.

 

 

The fourth season of "Back To Field" is on the air. In the first two episodes, the Mushroom House welcomes a large number of guests to keep hosts He Jiong and Huang Lei busy. Although busy, the mushroom house has never had a lot of fun.

 

In the official trailer released by the official blog, Song Wei Long's mental state was different after he came to the mushroom house where life was so much more peaceful. He became a happy little boy here.
