Song Wei Long leaving Chengdu after the Roadshow.   He accepts a Letter from a Fan.  I am a bit disappointed that he did not Wave goodbye to this Fan of his.   Perhaps it is not intentional.  But he ought to pay more attention to this.  Without "Fans", they are nothing.

According to the real-time data of Beacon Professional Edition, as of 20:3 on 21 August, the total Pre-Sale Box Office of this Movie has exceeded 10 Million.

Song Wei Long:  "Just For Meeting You" 

 

The Box Office of "Just For Meeting You"  broke through 40 Million Yuan on it's First Day !!    According to the real-time date of Beacon Professional Edition, as of 18:08 on 23 August, the box office has exceeded 50 Million Yuan.   It's current Douban Rating is "6.9".

 

"Just For Meeting You" even beats "The Breaking Ice" which stars Zhou Dong Yi (the 3-Gold Slam Movie Queen) and Liu Hao Ran.

 

The comment area for "Just For Meeting You" is full of "praises":  "Enjoyment";  "Refreshing";  "Simple and Gentle";   "Youth is truly wonderful"  and so on....   Even the feedback from the audience was like Spring Breeze.

 

The entire movie is Fresh and Natural.  Without any blood and excessive force.  It vividly and naturally depicts the ignorance of young boys and girls about "Love".  And the hard but warm life in high school.

 

Some netizens watched the trailer and felt that Song Wei Long in the film, is "Not So Handsome".   Please note that this exactly the effect Director Liu Yu Lin wants.  She does not want to make this movie into a kind of "Floating Idol Drama".  

 

She wants a Real High School Boy with Pimples on his Face, Tanned Skin, and Cropped Hair.

 

Fortunately, Song Wei Long agrees with Director Liu's ideas.  Song Wei Long has No Idol Burden.  He is willing to make himself Less Handsome for this movie.

 

 

Song Wei Long:

"Just For Meeting You" is Song Wei Long's best acting in a movie and TV drama, so far.

 

He perfectly combined Yang Si Huo's childishness, and behaved very "naturally".  

 

When Yang Si Huo appeared on campus in a girlie pink dress, his Teacher hurriedly dragged him back to the office.   Yang Si Huo (Song Wei Long) naturally teased the Teacher with a few words.

 

His every move is the reaction that a boy who has not fully matured should have. 

 

Well done !!   I am glad that after the unfortunate disaster of "A League Of Nobleman",  Song Wei Long  manages to bounce back !

So far, this film has reached a cumulative box office of 70 million.   

 

It scored 9.4 points on the Taopiao Piao platform.   9.2 points on the Maoyan platform, and 6.9 points on the Douban platform.

 

Becoming the highest score for a youth romance film in 2023.

1) Feng Shaofeng and Gu Li Nazha's "Puppy Love"  - 2.25 million, and it was released for 9 days.
2) Ou Hao and Gu Jiacheng's "Pursuit" - 23 million, it was released for 6 days.
3) Zhou Dongyu and Liu Haoran  "The Breaking Ice" received 23 million and was released for 9 days.
4) Huang Xiaoming and Yan Ni's "Heart's Motive" received 45 million and was released for 6 days.
