Dear… I was busy lately and thank you for your update as usual

Actually I agree with SWL and want him to sue like this for a long time instead of being in cliff hanging situation since we all know how he got treated unfairly also can imagine how he would feel uncomfortable even when being around with same agency artists who got very favors by YZ. Sure there will be pro and con consequences for it. But I believe him and this too shall pass. Hoping for the best and can’t wait to see a brighter shining star without unfair control anymore

@jcwsgal  I totally agree with you. 

 

But he has to plan for the right time. It is easier said than done. He cannot simply terminate the contract like that.  There are so many issues to look into:

 

1) He has to wait for the Contract to Expire or Close to the Expiry Date. Otherwise he will be penalised for breaking the Contract Terms.  

2) He has to get a New Backer or Boss first.

3) He has to inform his Endorsers first.  Endorsers want sales of their products.  They will immediately terminate their endorsement contracts with Artistes with adversed reputations.

4) He has to complete some Projects first.  Because he has to take a break while the Court Case is going on.  Which is why he has "Bionic" and "Just For Meeting You".

5) He has to shore up his Presence first.  This he did by joining the Variety Show "The Irresistibles".

6) He has to form his Own Working Team first.  Which he did last year.

7) And most important wait for the right Time.  The right time came when Yu Zheng's Plagiarism Issue blew up.  Yu Zheng cannot afford more negative publicity now.

 

Yu Zheng is Not a good man.  He can make sure that you do not survive in this Industry.  

 

Which is why I'm impressed with the way Song Wei Long handles the situation.

Yes… I was wondering why it took so long because the conflicts became worse lately and there’s rumors often came out at that time.  Now I understand why he took enough time to make sure things settled first. After knowing it, I feel amazed and proud of him. But YZ is not easy so all we can do is just cross fingered and hoping for the best to support and welcome back.

Just want to drop in and update that SWL Instagram account is picking up more followers at a faster speed now, just a few days ago it was 987k, today it’s at 989k. 
 

That’s so amazing considering how inactive he’s been and no new work is currently showing. 

… and it’s heart warming to see the diversity of his followers … just from all over the world!!!

Netflix US only shows “Find Yourself”. I wonder why they don’t show “Go Ahead” here.

Luckily there are YouTube videos of most SWL other dramas and movies.

Ok looked it up and I don’t like that FL  and I don’t like older gals younger guys romance theme. What attracted me to Go Ahead was its family theme, very heartwarming esp the daddy.

@Prettysup  I understand.  Same here.   "Find Yourself" is the only older woman-younger man drama that I've watched.  I watch for Song Wei Long.   He is so irresistible in it.  I don't enjoy Victoria Song's acting.

 

Perhaps, you might want to check out Song Wei Long's movie "Love The Way You Are" - a light Comedy.  He was only 17 years' old. 

 

His latest movie "Just For Meeting You" will premiere in August 2022.   Followed by  "Bionic" his Sci-Fi Drama in the Last Quarter of 2022.

last night/yesterday SWL uploaded on instagram picture of a plate of grilled shrimps. Looks like he’s telling fans he’s eating well and enjoying spicy foods. —> and his followers are now at 990k, another 1k since Thursday, YAY!!! Let’s go 1 Million!!!

 

@Prettysup @hush puppy Agreeing w you both, Im not a fan of the acting of FL in “Find Yourself” although I think she’s pretty and I like her as a dancer outside of the drama.  I like her non-acting natural personality in the BTS videos more than that character she played   To be honest though, SWL acting in the first episode or two wasn’t drawing me in, despite his gorgeous looks.  So to be fair, how the characters presented is a combined efforts of the actors and how the director wants it done. 
 

anyhow I’m glad I came back and gave the series another try.  As you watch it, You can see how SWL acting improved along in this drama (filmed in fall/winter 2018 when he was just 19) and I just love, and miss, his healthy handsome looks in the drama and the  sunshine Yuan Song character he played, in contrast to Ling Xiao character.  SWL may not do another drama of this concept so let’s enjoy it for him!! I wish he had done more dramas during this time frame 2018-2019 bc he was simply a stunning and absolutely beautiful Youth!  Although He’s getting more gorgeous and becoming a brooding sexy handsome man now hahaha.
Hope he’s set free soon so his beauty can be captured on more films and dramas!!! *pray*

@FavSong_JKWL @Prettysup  @jcwsgal  Let me deviate from The Theme of this Forum for a while. I don't easily become a Fan of any artiste.  I wasn't a fan of Victoria: not her dancing, singing or acting.  But I gave her a chance.  I watched "Wind From Luoyang".  Her acting & lines-delivery were Poor.   Compared to her other 2 co-stars.  

 

Coming back to our Song Wei Long, @FavSong_JKWL, you are Right. 

 

1) Yu Zheng has robbed him of his Youth and Prime.   I do have a Suspicion.  And I believe I'm right.   Yu Zheng is holding Song Wei Long back so that his Favourites can shine.   And we all know who his Favourite Actor is.  

 

2) Yu Zheng is a very Biased and Revengeful Person.  He likes his charges to be Obedient.  And if you all have read my Past Posts, you all would have realised what is the Difference Between Song Wei Long and His Favourite.  Song Wei Long is a Person with his own Opinions.  He is also too Straight-Forward.  He does Not do "Apple-Polishing".

 

3) Yu Zheng's productions are not really suitable for Song Wei Long.  Most of Yu Zheng's dramas are Period (Costumes) Dramas.  Hardly suitable for Song Wei Long.  And the themes of YZ's works are more or less the same. No Variety.

 

4) Not only that.  When Song Wei Long became Popular with "Find Yourself" and "Go Ahead", Yu Zheng limits him from accepting too may External Offers - Sets a Quota.  "Find Yourself" and "Go Ahead" are both from Huace - external offers.   That is part of the reasons, why eventually Song Wei Long did not have any work after his "Mini-Explosion".  And why he decides to terminate his contract.

 

5) Most of the Rumours, Gossips and News about Song Wei Long are False:

 

Lazy.  No Ambitions:

Song Wei Long is very Hard-Working.  He even paid a Famous Acting Teacher to coach him.  And this Teacher is very Expensive.  When he is not in Dramas, he has Fashion-Shoots, Variety Shows - and Acting Classes.  

 

Many Girlfriends:

Some of these are planted by Fans of the Opposite Camp.  We all know how Fanatic Fans can be.   Even in Product-Endorsements these Fans of the Opposite Camp also tried to Smear Song Wei Long.

 

Song Wei Long has all along been the Main Spokesman for the Boss Electric Kitchen Aplliances (See the pix below). That company is expanding very fast.  So they use 2 other Artistes for their Subsidiary Products - an Actress and another Actor.

 

The Fans of the Actress are alright.  No problem.  But the Fans of that Actor immediately spread words that Boss Electric is Abandoning Song Wei Long.   Song Wei Long's Fans are very  Disciplined and Reasonable Lots.  They checked with Boss Electric and found out the Truth.  And hit back or rather, Defended Song Wei Long.

 

 

Similarly, it was these Fanatical Fans of the Opposing Camp who gleefully spread those Rumours about Song Wei Long's many girlfriends.  They used such demeaning methods to Destroy Song Wei Long's  popularity.

 

They even infiltrate Song Wei Long's Fan Sites to see what are being written and then twist the facts to smear him.  If you all frequent Twitter, you would have seen a Warning by one of Song Wei Long's Fan.  He operated a Twitter Site for Song Wei Long.  And someone did that to him.
