Ep 42 i really love when luping comes to zhaifeng to talk with Master Guo. He was so emotionally and really felt he has been pushed to the corner, he really gave up everything, only want to revenge to everyone who killed his parents and ruining his life. 

 

Ep 43

I really love luping and qinsang scene, the one before luping killed himself, he really give up for everything, he just want to revenge to zhairong, i can feel qinsang really understand luping, but she also cant give zhairong to luping, what she said was so touching, so after listening to qinsang, he give up to murder zhairong, but kill himself instead, since he has failed to revenge for his parents.

 

Really sad for Wu You Valley, Mo Lin's father and people in there...

 

Ep 44

Love qinsang n luping scene, how they live in beautiful village with flowers everywhere, i can feel their chemistry.

 

And i still hate Ling ZiYan...

About Cheng Xiao

 

Production Team Teacher

Cheng Xiao force power was Vision soul force and used sword.  She has the ladylike swordplay very suitable for her.

 

Cheng Xiao

The initial shooting began with mostly action scenes.  She was advised to be confident of herself.  She took a few lessons with Brother Tao and questioned on the way of fighting.  After certain deliberation she could devise the action better.  Brother Tao encouraged her to be confident of herself and she could do it.  From morning to night, she trained and she was fine with it and already got used to it especially when towards night time, her stamina became even better.  She felt really happy when Brother Tao was satisfied with her.  She felt fulfilled when her efforts with hard work wasn't wasted.

 

Director Huang

Personally her movement was really pretty, as such because of that, he added specifically more action scenes for her.  He felt that she had the natural ability and interest to display such scenes. 

 

Brother Tao

He used her familiarity with stage performance and focus in into her ability in Chinese dance performance into these scenes.  He also showed her the actions she was going to perform and let her realised that she was safe in their hands and could placed her trust in them who would ensured her safety whilst she completed her elegant acts.

 

About Chen Fei Yu

 

Brother Tao

He pointed out that sometimes background does not necessarily complement with action scenes per se so he gave a few examples.  As an action director, he had to ensure that safety came first for actors where he was concern and made the necessary safety measures preparation before such scene like explosion in the background be detonated.

 

Production Team Teacher

Towards the end Fei Yu has 6 soul force powers.  Actually, his Vision soul force, Strength soul force, Pivot soul force, Sound soul force and lastly Essence soul force could flow through without obstruction by then.  (She forgot to mention Energy soul force.)

 

Brother Tao

He remarked that Chen Fei Yu willingly challenged himself.  Not only he would challenged Fei Yu but Fei Yu would try to create a breakthrough in action scenes up to the limit that he was able to handle.  He revealed that he had seen Fei Yu's drama production and discovered that his actions were seamless so he wanted Fei Yu's acts to be portrayed real smooth. 

 

Later on when Fei Yu finished his shooting of the boxing platform casino scene, Brother Tao noted that he has comprehended the boxing technique by then.

 

Chen Fei Yu

He stated that if the role required him to be in special condition such as taking heavyweight, he will try to fulfill that requirement.  In the boxing platform casino scene, he disclosed that he has never been trained in boxing so from that day forward he got to learn first hand the boxing technique from Brother Tao using his fists, how tos and to fight hard with his strength.  When he was shooting this scene, it was the hottest day for him as he was moving non stop continuously, sweating profusely.

 

About Deng En Xi

 

Production Team Teacher

Su Tang had Strength soul force so it was difficult to portray that in action scenes.  So she could only used her fists to act out her action scenes.

 

Deng En Xi

She used only her fists to roam the martial world but that also required training and gradually she was able to see the results as well as learnt the technique how tos.

 

Brother Tao

Su Tang's role was portrayed with the use of her strength.  She was really attentive so don't think she was small.  When she threw out both her fists, it sounded incredibly strong and not fake.

 

About Yu Yi Jie

 

(Only showed how he was trained.)

 

About Xiong Zi Qi

 

Brother Tao

It was difficult to act when sitting on wheelchair for action scene.  You have to know how to use the wheelchair properly to do it well.

 

Production Team Teacher

Xifan in one scene (porridge shop) had to turn his wheelchair around to get his sword that in fact turned out looking so natural in the drama.

 

 

Brother Tao praised all the main cast for their improvement.  He felt they were greatly interested in these action scenes so he in turn received epiphany from them.  He also wished to thank them for they fully met his expectations as this was truly important to him.

Yeah i think every actor will surely have martial art skill after playing at least three costume drama yeah?

 

Like Cfy after ever night he can play the bow, sword n spear very well, like what has been showed in one BTS, added from this drama, now he can boxing LOL.

Apart from most of the main cast, I really enjoy Wang Jia Ning's Chu Min master role.  She really shine in her portrayal as Chu Min.  I hope she will be able to play as main cast in her future dramas.

One more thing i love from this drama, they have four tough ladies yeah? Qin Sang, Chu Min, Su Tang and Ling ZiYan, they all have integrity and dependable to support their own couple.

Applause for her first time costume drama, she really worked hard, still plenty room to improve, hopefully she learned many things from Legend of Awakening for her next projects!

 

I cant help falling in love to Qin Sang in ep 43-45. She really good at those eps.

Because of her dead face , there is lack of chemistry between leads.

Sutan ( she acts like veteran at age 14) rocks , servant girl ( could turn villain - daugher of the gang leader) acts well

Lu Ping Master guy was very good. He has two roles and he is able to separate two characters in some way.

The problem with drama is that fight scenes are not good. Poor budget may be.

 

None of these dramas will ever compare to big budget production like evernight season 1( every thing came together). It was like big budget hollywood movie. It was flawless.

 

We cant expect drama to be that good. You could say untamed is also not big production. Main reason for Untamed success was multiple story line. It was new. It was never focussed on fights. It was different..ghost and richard simmons.  There was friendship no romance. 

 

For a drama to be success you need strong romance. That is what lacking in this legend of awakening.

FYI.... Cheng Xiao did not undergo any plastic surgery she is naturally born beautiful. Here some of her childhood and pre debut picture.

 

 

I know her first act of playing female lead is not perfect, but she can improve since its her first drama. Please be considerate  thanks!

 regarding her character background and the title she has to up hold, do you expect her to be a happy-go-lucky character ? Damn im happy i even got to see her smile and show some emotion through the series, plus she wanted to surpass her brother in term of ability and all that, do you see her brother being softie with her or is he also stern ? considering these factors and the environment she grew up with, the expectation for this character are like those 'stone cold' male lead.

Well there are some stone cold female character in Jiang Hu stories, such as the most famous one Xiao LungNi (Return of Condor Heroes) and Cu Qiao (Princess Agent), Ye HongYu (Ever Night), and there are few more but dont remember the character name (pardon, somehow my brain stuck for the moment). They are powerful, cold and badass like Qin Sang. Dont we all like badass female character? 

 

Dont worry about harsh review for Cheng Xiao as Qin Sang, it is her 1st time ever, criticism is always there, even for senior actors, haters are always around the corner, entertainment world is always a tough and harsh business, she is already famous as kpop girlband, so it is natural that everyone has high expectation on her, but dont worry, she is also a natural badass girl like qinsang, she will accept them as an encouragement!

i agree, tbh most idol who go into the acting world always get heavenly judged, its honestly tiring, even if they play the role well, they expect more , but if an actor (who isnt idol) does it, its alwys okay. im am tired lol.

Yeah bcos most of idols are just getting recruited for their beauty and handsome, maybe in one band consists of 4 or 5 persons, the ones who really have talents maybe only two (vocal and dance), the rests are yeahh so so... And now we can see the idol survivor reality show, how the talented ones who dont have beautiful or handsome, will be eliminated earlier or get lower rank than who have pretty faces.That is why when they try to enter drama or movie, the audiences will harsh to them, even for the talented ones. 

 

And we can look from actor side, most actors have had proper education like film academy or university, some of them can sing but dont really pursuing in singing business, maybe just for singing a single ost, that's all.

 

Netizens are like an invicible large mouth with no brain and ethics, so we should not take them seriously, extreme fans also can be counted one of them. We should support our idol positively, that is why we should stay positive.
