She was in tears because she could finally do a twirl (or whatever you call that in ballet terms) that she failed to during her practices at home. I believe the set at the beach that Dan made help her recall the time she danced in front of Dan when young and she finally could complete the dance without falling down again and again. When she finally got hold of her emotions, she moved out of his hug.

 

He saw her as Malti when he hugged her. Obviously he's treating YS as a substitute for Malti which explains why i think he's selfish. That's why he gets angry whenever he sees Dan around YS and when he recalls the scene of Dan kissing YS.

This is a Fantasy drama chingu! If Dan didn't use his angel powers to stop the car from dropping off, she would have died in that dark night deep in the dark sea and calling the ambulance wouldn't help let alone holding her hand; he wouldn't even be able to find her hand to hold! . It's like the story will end right there if Dan didn't pulled back the car to rescue YS and there's no more ALML.

I'm sorry you felt this way. As a matter of fact I could feel her performance clearly in this flawed character of YS. Maybe a reason why she decided to take up this challenging role too. I'm not being biased but I really could feel her character development. Again, different perceptions

My take is she wanted to dance again because she's proud, doesn't want to lose, and she wants to do it again with Mr Jo's eyes recalling him saying he hopes to see her shine again. JKW happened to approach her when she's already more or less determined to do it and it's her who decides at the end of the day she wants to do it for herself.

Seriously, we have such contrasting perceptions of this drama that I'm beginning to wonder if we are watching the same drama. But that's the way it is. I'll be enjoying it for the reasons I've mentioned. Hope you find something of the drama other than LDG to enjoy too okay? And hopefully YS won't get on your nerves too much. Because i won't have the energy to defend YS again
