[Drama 2019] Angel's Last Mission: Love 단, 하나의 사랑

Recommended Posts

@titania1000

love your explanation :kiss_wink:

btw this drama teach us how to love when you are forbid to love like:

1. Kim Dan

2. Yeon Soo

also how to love when your love is unrequited or just one sided:

1. Ji Woo

2. Ni Na

I love the theme of this drama Angel Last Mission: LOVE <~~~

Love is a deep interpretations. And wide. And they also took Giselle Ballet As the theme of the story. A beautiful love story from a girl who loves a man who deceives her but even in death, when normally human will forget everything about life, her love still remember the man. She saved herself and that man because of her love.

people who can not bring love will have poor interpretations of this drama.

Love is my surface  I am expert in this area just ask my love @Ameera Ali who already feels my love everyday

Note: I want to write about all characters about their loves but this is midnight from my place and I need to sleep ^_*

I deleted the tweet ... I don’t know if you saw the screenshots or not. It’s just funny if you end up putting two sayings together.

Based on the way this drama has developed it is focused on the story of the main leads (KD and YS) and not on the secondary leads (KW and NN).  KBS likely does not see any intense secondary lead syndrome (SLS) interest from the viewing audience so they mainly promote highlights of KD with YS and not KW with YS.  If there is secondary lead syndromes like in the Reply or other drama series we would have seen a whole lot more promotion (news, IG, twits) involving KW.  Fortunately not :D.

Can't wait to see the last 6 episodes!

Isn’t love meant to set you free , I think YS is the angel that will set these two men free from their past , they need to trust her with their story . Because for me true love is when you love every single bit of each other , even their s-hitty bits .

I won't complain.......Nina and Kang Woo are both past the point where their character arc holds any interest for me. So, I really don't care about them. I hope we get more OTP scenes, I honestly fast forward the Fantasia/Kang Woo angry moping scenes at the point.

@Sejabin @Ameera Ali for you... the dance in black & white ...  i love it & repeated it many times...

I actually think KW is her personal muse. Whenever he's around, her dance is enhanced to become more beautiful & articulate.

Thank you so much for sharing this little gem!

I loved it too though it was too short!

I agree that having Kang Woo as her audience seemed to enhance the quality of her dances. On the beach, during the rehearsal and during the audition, he's been always close to her and she seemed to want to outdid herself each time he watches her. She's certainly always seeking his approval and his admiration.

But i think that Dan is half of the equation: he has woke up in her heart a strong yearning for love and she used a lot his thoughts and the feelings that came with them to express herself in the way she dances.

So he's more a muse than Kang Woo in this respect.

Exactly something fishy is going on now.. HAPPY HAPPY

My bet is that thet they are filming some dark twists and subplots and that they are trying to cheer themselves and the crew.

Also the filming might be end soon, so maybe they are sad to separate.

PS: lawyers see the light come hug dark angel , 30% discount  :tounge_xd:

* @Sejabin write more about NI Na , did you mention before she was dancer :kiss_wink: love you girl

I'm all for sqeezing him  but i'm afraid he only wants Yeon Seo.

Hope a lot of people will want to hug him: he's been so underrated!

If anything should happen by accident with his face, i suggest you to use your lips instead of your hand, you'll be more happy for sure!

This is possibly a scene filmed after Ru-Na's character has the demon purged.

I just re-watched the scene where Ni-Na's audition was interspersed with her Elena Training at the cemetery.

Such a great scene.

But it also feels like a missed opportunity for character development.

Would have been good to see those two scenes occur separately.

The writing of Ni-Na's character has been a letdown, feels like so much more could have been done with her.

Cute pic!

Thanks for sharing!

Which demon? Did i miss something?

The last time i checked she was "just" a psychopath, born in a family of opportunistic killers

Ni Na's interpretation was better than Yeon Seo's dance but she's not the lead so she can't win..

When i compare with the screentime given to the children i feel like crying for her but with a female lead as strong as SHS who plays two characters, it's hard to make room for a more interesting second lead.

The promotion  has always been about KMS and SHS only even before the drama started to air.

KBS went for this promo months before having any fans reactions, so it's more likely it was negotiated  this way when the 3 leads signed their contracts.

LDG is obviously expecting nothing from this project. He's just enjoying working again with the  PD  that made a success of Queen for Seven Days (he got an excellence award for his role in this sageuk).

EDIT because mods brought to my attention that there's actor bashing in my comment.

My message came out as more harsh than i thought: i agree there's no reason to dismiss KSM who is working as hard as everyone else on this project and he's a part of its success, whatever my preferences in term of acting skills.

It's not hate on the man: i think he's nice and obviously appreciated by a lot of people on set, starting by SHS herself who kept talking about their friendship during filming.

Sorry to his fans who might have feel offended.

Thanks all for the update/education about how the Korean TV/film industry works.  I didn’t know that KMS’ company is powerful enough to lobby KBS to use this drama as a vehicle to promote and enhance KMS’ career by using more experienced and older actors like LDG.  I cannot imagine KBS using SHS in this way as she is loved by KBS.

I have seen some of KMS’ previous works and he has grown leaps and bounds in this drama; not just a pretty face...my opinion so please don’t shoot :).

This drama is a star vehicle: it was conceived to support KMS's career as an actor.

He has a strong popularity as an idol but he doesn't have the experience and above all the acting skills to carry a project of this level. So they added two experimented strong actors to beef the cast and make the story work.

How do You know it was conceived to support KMS's career, he wasn't even the first choice as far as I recall. Both L and SHS came abroad after initially passing over this one.

Yes, KMS in my honest opinion has improved, I have seen a fair share of his projects that he has worked on. He always was good with comedy....Shut Up Flower Boy Band,  Cunning Single Lady, he did well in those although those were his early project and even did decently in Master's Sun. I admit I did not like him even a tiny little bit in Emperor: Owner of The Mask and that was a poor performance. But he was again quite good in Ms. Hammurabi. Angel's Last Mission is definitely one that show's growth in him as an actor. I don't think this show was designed to push his career forward. I don't know where you got that from. Also, netizens have been harsh to him in the past when he didn't do well. So, its a stretch calling him being well treated by those who comment in both domestic and international platforms solely because of his idol status. One half praise his face is  and one half wrongly assume that he has improved is your personal opinion.  Judging by my experience, Netizens love shredding idol turned actors to bits if they perform bad even slightly. So if he is being given his due for improving both by a large section of international and domestic audience that it is because his acting has indeed shown noticeable improvement in their opinion. Good writing for his character is a bonus here that is also making him shine. Also keep in my mind, nobody expected this show to do as well it is doing. They all thought One Spring Night would do extremely well like Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food and Lucky Romance had given most people the idea that this story would tank even before it began. The first two weeks surprised everyone.

I'm sorry If I will make someone upset. But I'm pissed of with some comments in youtube/mydramalist and here.

First of all, I'm not KMS's fan, I don´t even listen INFINITE songs. This is the first time I'm seeing a drama with KMS and I don´t think he is doing a bad thing. He may not be the greatest actor of Korea or something like that, but he is not bad.

I think his chemistry with SHS is also good. I have been listening some people says the relationship of this couple is very "innocent" and "childish" and you really can feel the difference betweeen LYS/Dan and LYS/JKW.

But anyone wondered why the show did that? I think they made this relationship like that because they wanted to show us, how is the first love. The title of this drama is: Dan, only love. But as we can see from the drama, Dan died as a kid. The only memories he had is when he was a kid. So even now in a human form, he is still acting as a child. Because he didn´t get mature as a human. We can see him questioning things that people in his aged wouldn´t even think.
I think his acting and the way his relationship is with LYS is intentional. They want to give us a messenge. And I think this messenge is something related to the fact, Dan wanted to be a grown man for LYS.

SIGH.

I would have liked LDG's character if he was not this overly obsessed, 'I know what is best for you' , 'I like you so I am not giving up, even if you are not interested in me' and heaven forbid 'You remind me of my lost love so I am going to project these feelings on you'

True, in the drama, it looks like he has fallen in love with YS for real, however he still has not improved in his wooing technique.

it is true. that is why it is hard but at the same time it is beautiful. loving when you are happy it is too easy. but loving when you're hurting is really a true love :kiss_wink:

chingu it is about her dance? in my thought Ni Na interpretation looks like one sided love who knows that the one she loves is not loving her. he loves someone else. She danced her pain of knowing that he rejects her. she couldn't bear it so she chooses to die. of course her interpretation seems better because she is a ballerina.

while Yeon Soo danced her fears of not able to see her love again in this case, Kim Dan. she is waiting for him to back to her. while NiNa expressed Giselle who knows that she loves someone for nothing. someone that she could not wait for.

btw if I need correction please help  I love writing about love hahahaha.. but I respect SHS for trying her best to perform ballet when she is not a ballerina in real. 4 thumbs for her plus my foot thumbs hahahaha :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: I can see the light in kdrama world now that there is a young actress like her who can acting in this quality.

SHS is doing the job of promotion with KMS while she's supported in the acting by LDG, who is obviously expecting nothing from this project. He's just enjoying working again with the  PD  that made a success of Queen for Seven Days (he got an excellence award for his role in this sageuk).

Hopefully too, he's getting a good pay (the one that a main lead would deserve)!

In all honesty, netizens are being very nice to KMS: i'm used to read harsher comments for actors who did better than him.

Half of them seem convinced that he improved (which is scary)

And the other focus only on his face.

That's maybe why the drama works decently/enough well  without being a crazy hit, that makes people obsessed.

I think like this too and my friends in here who are enjoying watching angel last mission kdrama like me. They also think that L has a strong popularity in this drama as an idol. and yes agree with his experience and acting skills.

Can not compared to LDG of course as a senior actor. I love his acting skills. he made a supporting character like Ji Woo feels alive. hahaha. this is what you called talent. Lee Dong Gun oppa sucess in made me falls for 2 antagonist character in 2 dramas which is something I rarely will do, specially if the antagonist is too evil HAHAHAHAHAHA :joy:

ADDED:

Note. I think it is good that many people come to this drama with different sights. Some people love to watch the main lead, some people is like me who loves SHS acting and LDG. and I like to watch Kim Bo Mi too. I know she is a ballerina since many years ago and to watch her in ballet kdrama like this make me happy

I watch L in my lovely girl kdrama with Crystal and Rain. and perhaps because this is my taste I always love older namja like Rain or LDG or Kim Jae Wook. can not blame my eyes hua Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

But I will not focus to underestimate some actors in here because that will destroy the beauty of this drama who try to tell us the messages about love

btw this is secret but I have a friend too in here who loves L angel. hahahaha. she said L as an angel looks very light and relaxing. yes perhaps it is suitable his angel character. while for a fallen angel like Kang Woo needs LDG to perform that dark soul who becomes dark because of love. aishhhh.. poor Kang Woo :bawling:
