@briseis said: I think you are mistaken Dan never used his handkerchief to wipe the blood of his feet nor was it ever shown to have any healing properties so far. He only used his hand and a towel, look:

Yes, you are right--that's what I get for impatiently watching on my phone screen at lunchtime!

There’s a reason why I hate L in coats! He looks so bulky and manly in less clothes! His side profile.

I have been repeating this scene for over 10 times.. i've never find KMS attractive i always saw him as a good looking guy but not attractive (because i tend to like manly men) But in this moment he seems sooooooo attractive to me..

its so sensual that it makes my heart flutter... This drama really showed KMS in a way i've never seen him before..

@immorethant I also think she deserves all the big awards.. its one thing to act well and its another to be fully immersed in your role as if you have become that person..

you know the acting is brilliant when the eyes speak for itself..her eyes and body languages says everything.. its absolutely amazing!!

Also i've noticed that L's eyes especially when he is acting out a loving or heartbreaking scene speaks in volumes.. that really shows his growth as an actor..

I love KD in black! I actually prefer that hairstyle on him than the curly style. I think there might be a huge twist to KD's real identity. Maybe he is in a coma or he did die at the age of 20 something and became an angel. I don't think that if he died as a child, he could continue to grow up as being an Angel? Is that even possible? Let me know!

Another theory is that he may remember what happened to him and turned against God. I want to see dark KD but not to the point where he becomes bad or evil.

I'm actually thinking the same. Maybe Dan died or in a coma in his 20's.

Oh no. That would make me sad. Haha But yes, it makes me wonder when I saw him in black that he would turn bad or dark.

@jakey09 has went mad. If the passionate open mouth kiss she wants don't happen in the kitchen next week, i think she will go set fire to KBS :joy:

What should any man do first when he  sees another man

hanging around his girlfriend.

Learn how to drive, but a bit better than our angel.

I like how YS hugged Dan tightly while they were leaving the park.

Hello and welcome to @Friendly kitty @Leneyleney @Josh Marquez  @Hannah Tabunan  @soesje  @smileyw @1amawesom3  @Nabila  @joanie_ha   @Melissa Add  @jaemin's friend  @shamrockmom  and everyone!

Now I just went thru about 15 pages to catch up. I'm out of breath. Such great fans and posts here, and everyone is quite respectful and good at communicating, clearing up misunderstandings when they happen. It's positively heart-warming to see so much invested into this story by so many. Even the disappointments and criticisms are mostly coming from super high expectations, and it feels like we learn much from these moments. With all of us being so absorbed into this and so much energy invested, it's hard to be objective or 'just enjoy the show' I know. But none of us could have it any other way, once we're all addicted to this place, can we? I am grateful to EVERYONE contributing here, truly.

Spoiler

I had an interesting thought - maybe silly to you, but here it goes. When Yeon-Seo under the influence of drugs, goes crazy and lashes out at the pervy patrons (Korean and Japanese alike - all creepers), the obvious balancing act that Fantazia the ballet company must do is to present the finest of arts while balancing the books and paying and keeping the best talents worthy of the reputation it has built up in 20 years. I think for K-dramas (and most all dramas on tv) their 1-hour per night, 2-hours per week format, this is kind of the strait-jacket for which the Fantazia balancing act is a metaphor. In order to keep us the audiences happy and coming back for more, KBS or the producers have to make the story format with peaks and cliff hangers every hour, so that we all must tune into the next episode. So it's difficult to write a book that has 16 chapters, but with a kind of a climax at the end of each chapter (even children's books don't do this, but we dramabook fans need this). So I take most all dramas and drama watching as kind of an inside joke, or a night out to listen to live music at a small club. We love the cozy atmosphere and the energy of the scene and the music, but we have to put up with the cover charges, 2 drinks minimum, the annoying smelly guy drunk and giving you unpleasant looks. But we're there for the performance, and although it only peaks about once every 20 minutes to 45 minutes, we play along and would do it again and again, becoz we're in love with the rhythm guitar player, or whatever! In this analogy, if ALM:L is a fine story with a brilliant idea from the writer's great ferment of imagination ('the ballet'), then one can say that the skinship and the over the top cliff-hangers are the sponsors' requirements for the story to be sellable ('the porn' , in YS's words to the Japanese 'sponsor').

So I come in here, mainly for the porn. No, just kidding. We all come for a number of reasons, but when I watch, I know the part I'm supposed to play, becoz there's an inside joke, and I'm hip, cool and know what's for real and what's the punchline. I don't get upset at the outlandishly jagged peaks and cliffs in the story line, becoz I came in here fully knowing the byline - 'UNPREDICTABLE fantastic heavenly romance'. They have to be un-'predictable' or it ain't k-drama.

So far, I must confess that the last episode (6 or 11-12 half hour format) was the least satisfying story line development wise. I do regret mostly that we don't have more mature nuanced characters in Ni-Na and JKW, so far; perhaps never. I want a bit more worthy opponent to Yeon-Seo than Ni-Na with all her emotional baggage - but perhaps that is closer to real life ballerinas than I am aware of? I hope not. That would be such a drag if ballerinas were really like that in real life and less like swans. On the other hand, as a SHS fan, and now a fan of L, the last 2 episodes were the best ever, becoz these are truly talented actors in their zone together and doing amazing things I've not seen before on any screen. The magic!

Yes well said, that's the way! We all came in fully knowing this! Let's all have fun with this unpredictable fantastical heavenly romance! B)

But it wouldn’t be KBS fault.

I’m worried the ones doing it will disappoint me. :tears:

I was thinking ... Kid Dan telling YS probably in the first episode’s flashback what YS said in the car, how he doesn’t want to die but live ... but if he died how unfair it would be. That makes me think there might be chances of Dan being alive or be able to live again.

In an other news,

Angels attends an award function and wins an Award.

He won the popularity star award and I love how he mentions ALM:L during his acceptance speech.  Seriously black suits him so well, he looks so dashing and manly.
