Death Note 2 - The Last Name

I've just watch DN2 - The last name Gala Premiere last night

the show does not disappoint me ...

but some parts i am quite confusing and show a little bit draggy ...

spoiler don't read if you do not want to know ending ...

i do not understand the last part when L pretend to die infront of Light ...

and Light was so happy but tell him that he does not know his name and did

not even write in DN as he was with L ...

this is the part i was very confuse, because L and Light at the time

was waiting for MISA to come and L did tell Light that he know MISA

was the KIRA 2 but she can't kill him as she had forget his name already

after she regain her memory ..

and now waiting for his assistant to fetch her here to let her see his name

so that she can kill him

SO THIS IS THE PART : Light think that L name was written on DN by WHO???

it should be his partner/gang if not he wouldn't be so Happy ..

(not too sure u guys understand what i said)

but at that time MISA hasn't reach them and Light do not have the eyes to see L name ...

so WHO wrote the name which Light think that he has finally won the battle and L has die (but

L was just pretend to die) ...

i think i am going to watch it again ... too many scene don't understand

overall i prefer DN 1 because more suspense ...

i give 8/10 for the last name ....

btw, it's a 2hr+ show ...

it was good but if u compare to part1, it was pretty average...misa misa caused the downfall of light i feel

I just watched the first one a couple days ago and it was pretty good. Had to think a lot o_o lol. Just waiting for the subbed version of The Last Name now~

ughhhh im STILL waiting for part 2 -______-;;

part 1 was like an intro, nothing much happened...its basically ONE movie all together since they filmed it at the same time but decided to seperate the airing time. i guess it was too long so they had to seperate it haha i just find it weird how people compare them ^^;;

I thought that this doesn't happen...someone wrote something else about the ending to DN2...This isn't fair then...grrr...Then ending to the manga makes me already mad...grrr...Hopefully there's more to it... even though Light is suppose to be evil and stuff he's a cool bad guy and stuff...really really cool...

L wrote his own name in the deathnote so that he will die peacefully in 23 days. So as to convince Light's father to carry out the 'so call' experiment as to find out about his son's doings. Light thought Rem wrote L's name but L will not die beacuse his name was written earlier.

I hope this helps cos i was a bit blur ard this scene. btw, did Deathnote 1 show the university entrance examination scene of Light and L and the speech given by both af them as the top student? I can't remember. Any clubbox links to this movie and deathnote 2?

In answer to your question, no, this wasn't shown in DN1, the movie defers quite a bit from the manga, what you'd mentioned appeared in the manga and anime. The anime sticks closely to the manga.

I have watched DN2 on Sunday and must say I was a little disappointed with it, might be because I had high expectations for the conclusion but it did not live up to my expectations. Nontheless, must commend the scriptwriters for pulling off the movie based on 11 manga books with very complicated plotlines.

i've just watched Death note 1, the 2nd one will be shown in Dec 06 in spore T___T So sad I cant watch it... i wont be in spore during that period *sobs

btw, anyone notices that Kenichi was Shin in Nana? he was so cool at that time

I kinda don't want the 2nd movie to end like what happened to L in the manga ...

Yeah I also noticed that Kenichi was Shin in Nana, I almost didn't recognize him at first because of his hair hehe.

I have yet to watch Death Note 2 but Death Note 1 was greatt! I finished reading the manga recently and the ending I really liked it which comes to my questions, Near and Mello are not in the second movie are they?
