Expectations are high for director Lee Choong-hyun, the monster rookie who directed Netflix's movie'Call'.

'Call' is a mystery thriller depicting a maddening obsession that begins when two women in different time periods connected via a single phone change their fates.

Director Lee Choong-hyun made a fresh shock to the film industry in 2015 with the short film'Body Value', a short film of experimental technique, which was filmed in a single long take for 14 minutes. 'Body Value' swept domestic and international film festivals, winning the Best Short Award at the 11th Paris Korean Film Festival, the Special Award for Domestic Competition Jury at the 14th Asiana International Short Film Festival, and the Face of Short Film.

Afterwards, director Lee Choong-hyun, who entered the world of feature films by participating in the screenplay adaptation of'Silence' starring Choi Min-sik, Park Shin-hye, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Lee Ha-Nui, was the first feature film through'Call' with Yong Film, which showed'My Lady' and'Solo'. The movie is about to be released.

Park Shin-hye, who took the role of Seoyeon, said, "  he silently yet Boldly Conducting the set . I remember being surprised to see the cell phone memo filled with details that the actor had not thought of." expressing a great trust in director Lee Choong-hyun. Yang Jin-mo, an editorial article with this film, praised director Lee Choong-hyun, saying, "I seem to have eyes that know how to see the whole movie. While presenting my own fresh ideas, I accept the opinions of others well." Cinematographer Cho Young-jik also said, "It was a story teller and image teller that not simply draws the story into text, but also calculates the visual and auditory parts well in the cinematic context and melts them into the film." Increased expectations.
