Kim Sun Ah Is Shocked And Hurt In Upcoming Mystery Thriller Drama

by J. Lee

Kim Sun Ah will return as the lead for a mystery thriller drama.

MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Red Moon, Blue Sea” (literal translation) is a mystery thriller drama which will tell the story of a woman who tries to solve a mysterious case by using a poem as evidence.

On November 5, the drama revealed photos of Kim Sun Ah, who will play the lead role of Cha Woo Kyung. Kim Sun Ah looks shocked and hurt as she is sitting next to a car in a road full of smoke. The scene shows both bright lights and dark shadows, and Kim Sun Ah’s achromatic colored cloths as well as her messy hair add mystery and tension to the captured moment.

Kim Sun Ah’s character Cha Woo Kyung is a good daughter to her parents and a diligent wife to her husband. She lives a perfect life as a counselor for children. She will get swept up in a series of mysterious incidents as the drama’s plot continues. Her character requires a strong but delicate change of emotions due to the character being in the center of all of the incidents.

Lee Yi Kyung Transforms Into Tough Police Detective For Mystery Thriller Drama

Nov 6, 2018
by C. Hong

Some stills of Lee Yi Kyung’s character in MBC’s upcoming drama “Red Moon, Blue Sea” (working title) have been released!

“Red Moon, Blue Sea” stars Lee Yi Kyung, Kim Sun Ah, Nam Gyu Ri, VIXX’s N, Na Young Hee, Kim Yeo Jin, and more in a story about a woman who comes across a mysterious child in a mysterious situation. She begins to pursue the truth using poems as clues.

Lee Yi Kyung plays the male lead, Kang Ji Heon, a police detective known for his skill at finding criminals. He is a tough character with a good sense of judgment and a natural instinct for crime-solving, who believes in sticking to the basics and that all sins must be judged in the court of law.

In the new stills, Lee Yi Kyung is caught in a huge police incident, with yellow tape everywhere and numerous cops. One of the cars looks like it’s wrecked or burnt out, but Lee Yi Kyung seems like he’s looking for clues elsewhere.

“Red Moon, Blue Sea” will premiere after the end of “Terius Behind Me” on November 21.

Mystery-thriller Red Moon Blue Sun releases new stills

by tineybeanie

This drama looks intense and tragic already. Red Moon Blue Sun recently released new stills of its main characters, played by Kim Sun-ah (Should We Kiss First) and Lee Yi-kyung (Woohoo Waikiki). In this new MBC drama, a suspenseful story unfolds about a woman who meets a strange child. That meeting is the beginning of her entanglement in a mysterious case. With only a poem for a clue, she begins her search for the truth.

Kim Sun-ah plays the main character, a child psychologist who is a dutiful daughter and a devoted wife, and Lee Yi-kyung is the violent crimes detective whom she meets along the way. Lee Yi-kyung doggedly pursues the person behind this series of mysterious crimes. His character is a rule-follower who also has great instincts when it comes to investigations, which makes him so good at his job.

In the stills below, he’s shown with his face all cut and bruised, but he’s clearly more concerned about his case than his face. Whereas, Kim Sun-ah looks like someone’s completely knocked the wind out of her, as she stares at something in complete shock. Oh no, I hope no one dies.
