I can recall three successful  divorce in Kdrama  and one of them is from a prime time family drama rest are mini series. I'm sure there are more. While watching kdrama for almost 6 years, I thought Kdrama projects more open minded ideas despite many prejudice existing in their society.

 

But right now, my intuition is telling me that the writer will not be showing us anything directly on Sunny-Wangshik romance after the mess they made with Na Wang Shik character and CJH.

I didn't mean anything deep with my sentence. I just think it would be better if Sunny was not married at all. Better options for her and a higher probability for NWS, less for Hyuk. Of course being married does not mean one needs to be in it forever especially when its wrong and depressing and heartbreaking. 

 

I dunno what to say about the preview. Other than it is brighter than the last ep. Which is surprising. I expected angst.

It was dissapointing to me. I was active in the thread at that time, with livecaps and all. Imo, it started going downhill after ep 4, and just went tumbling down towards the end. Especially after the writer's interview before the finale. 

 

I was complaining 1 month ago about MotA writernim's interview, little did I expect 1 month later TLE would surprise me with the unavailability of the lead character in its finale. Hua3

@katakwasabi, had a divorce but the viewers knew that the divorce was not because the leads were out of love. The divorce was just a key to give some space to their love for each other. I love My Daughter Seo Young.

Saw the preview, i do not understand what they were saying but i ABSOLUTELY HATE the fact that the pd is still creating kissing moments for SN & LH 

 

i adore the late grand empress while she was alive, but i feel her action of suicide is her choosing the easy way out while leaving all the burdens and responsibility to SN. That is absolutely unfair to SN. Especially if SN cannot divorce LH. 

Just like what @flutterby06 shared, i hope the show doesn't butcher SN's character development by making her weak against prejudice and stay married to LH.

So what if many think LH is repentant and really loves SN now? He is still mentally unstable, can flip anytime and needs professional help. SN should not be made to stay by him to "cure or change him with love".

And at this point if they make SN feels touched and falls in love with LH, i'll be swearing off this scriptwriter and pd

I imagine it might be confusing for the cast to act in TLE..especially SSR. Imagine being creepy, cray2 in one scene and then clumsy in another. If viewers feel confused, i suppose the cast is even more confused. Hahahahaha

Anyways...i watched the latest preview..

I think its build up for Hyuk's downfall in ep 51-52. I can't imagine why else is Sunny doing all this with Hyuk. She must have a plan in mind. She won't do this just because. I have this feeling she has something up her sleeve.

About MotA. It's my personal opinion that it went downhill from ep 4. But i held on till the end. Or somewhat end. It was an interesting premise, but i found that some things just doesnt click and i question a lot of what was happening in the game and outside the game. Hahaha

 

There are other viewers that find it enjoyable till the end, unfortunately I was not one of them. I had fun joining discussions though. So all is good hehe

I'm so courious about the time... 

Sunny looks using same brown color outher. Sometimes she hangout with LH and A Ri, other time give speech in the ceremony, other time run with Yu Ra, and then talk with LH... can't imagine about timelapse and create a story, but for sure it's night when LH and Sunny talk each other, and LH turn around his body from Sunny. 

Wonder if Lee Hyuk let Sunny go... (but I'm also afraid, is she not the Empress anymore?)  

 

A Ri just looks like a pure child.. wish have good dad and  mom.

 

But I think, why she know if Lee Hyuk will love Sunny in the end, and when they have argument, infront of A Ri, she said looks like a love fight, and just cute. A Ri jugment toward Sunny from the start is also nice. Courious how she saw Lee Hyuk (fake) love from the first, but looks good in A Ri's eye. I know if Lee Hyuk also give unconcious smile when hear Sunny sing a song (make Yu Ra jealous), his heart is moving toward Sunny for sure. 

 

Who can't in love with Sunny?? It's a stupid person. Stupidly Lee Hyuk make her away from him, she hates him in the end. No matter how much sweet moment that he tried to create, Sunny still get angry, it's hard to forgive Lee Hyuk.

This reveal was definitely shocking, and rather problematic: it seems a bit silly that the old woman would have ended her life without bothering to tell Sunny, who she had grown so fond of — and, in addition, that she would have killed herself knowing that in doing so she was leaving Sunny alone and friendless in the palace with all of her horrible relatives. Perhaps this would have seemed like a more noble sacrifice if the Grand Empress Dowager’s logic made more sense, but as it stands, it seems rather flawed:

It is true that both Hyuk and the Empress Dowager had attempted to kill Grandmother that night. But in leaving evidence of both of their attempts on her life, in reality the Grand Empress Dowager made it impossible to determine who exactly was responsible, causing neither of them to be punished.

Even if her death had led to the exposure of Hyuk and the Empress Dowager, it seems like a much more roundabout and risky way to do so than to simply uncover the truth behind Empress So Hyun’s death, which was what the Grand Empress Dowager had been set on doing before her family members tried to kill her. Grandmother’s suicide felt anticlimactic, but we still have one week left in “The Last Empress,” so it will be interesting to see how the drama wraps up its loose ends!

Yeah the Grand Empress stuff was a stupid and silly twist that made no sense at all. One of many problems with this show.

Notice also that the clothes Sunny is wearing was the same when she was running with MYR in the day time, and then when LH spoke to her in the evening time.

In the preview, when Sunny took the podium and said her first line, LH was still seated on the stage. When she said congratulations, there were 2 guards standing beside LH. I'm guessing he's being "escorted" out.

Hyuk! what could have been if you actually did not kill anyone, you were not violent, you did not have anger issues or was not made to be super cray from ep 1 to ep 48, i would have an easier time watching this drama. Less complicated mind bending justifications needed to justify why I find a villain so interesting. Hahahahaha..but if not for his crimes he wont be a villain. This is so confusing. So confusing.

I just want speculation Oh Sunny wearing same clothes cause ED ordered catch Sunny and Min Yu ra came safe...after that sunny n yu ra run non stop go the podium..
