Plot:

The drama is about the descendants of the main characters from hit MBC drama “Jewel in the Palace." The drama will follow three siblings, Han San Hae, Han Jin Mi, and Han Jeong Sik, as they each devour delicious food, fall in love, and struggle through the difficulties in life. Yuri will be playing Bok Soong Ah, a new employee in the sales team, working at the same company as Han San Hae.

Im Gonna wait a bit more until it gets to episodes 6/8 so can get really into the story. It’s better when we’re behind cause then once we startsbwhen it’s already in the middle, it’s less agonizing waiting for new episodes and loosing track of the story. At least for me xD but I’m so happy that so many more new shows are airing since Gangnam ID, time, dear honor etc etc all wrapped up.

If you want to watch something light, this is the show to do so.  I am already hooked and have not even completed watching it as yet.

 

You do not need to watch the original Dae Jang Geum for this, however that show is a classic and is very good.  You should watch it, good luck in finding it on a streaming site as its over 10 years ago.

Hi @triplem I'm a fan of SDW since "Stair to Clouds" and this comedy drama (DJG is watching) seems interesting. I  haven´t watch it yet due to my job, but I must watch it. I will make the time. I hope you too.

I finally watched first episode late last night . Should not have done that because it made me so hungry  . 

I understand now what they mean by a variety drama . It’s like a cooking / foodie show with some drama incorporated in it . SDW & Yuri must be having so much fun eating . Younger twin bro was one of the supporting characters in Wok of love , so I guess the skills he learned there came in handy here. The food porn was great.

 

Drama wise , I think this feels more like a daily / weekender especially with the editing and overacting . However with the right viewing lens & managed expectations, it is a very fun watch. I like the cute dynamics between the siblings. Both brothers were so sweet in the way they tried to quietly comfort her at the end when she didn’t get to debut. They gave her an excuse to sob & made her feel better.

 

Yuri’s character - Miss Peach is rather OTT,  she’s definitely trying too hard. But I guess given the difficulty of the job market , she’s giving A+ effort not to lose it . SDW’s character- mr Allergy seems to have a grounded personality . Haha the way the boss is hitting at him feels like harassment . Since it’s 12 eps , not surprised to see the love line kick off quickly . 

 

Will watch eps 2 soon.  I need to learn to make that convenience store ramyeon
