But its times like this and sorry for the JH fans but its times like this i hope a really nice man comes into the picture for KY and they end up being together to escape the drama and then ends up being happy.  Nothing better than a revenge plot going wrong because everyone is so focused on revenge when the original love interest is no longer available at the end of it...

You have to watch the from the beginning to know the real relationship between KY and JH.  Where we are right now is the result of a big tragedy.  KY and JH were so in love but tragedy happened between families.  JH disappeared and came back to fulfill his promise of revenge against those who wronged him and his family.  In the meantime, Emily was wronged by SeNa and that's when JH and Emily decided to team up with the revenge.  The unrequited love is between JH and Emily - they have a 'staged marriage'.

Join us here chingu @nohamahamoud2002. I think this story doesn’t really drag drag like Sunny Again Tomorrow. I don’t know why I love this drama so much but , I am kinda used to these type of storyline especially when the cast can pull it off and move me. I was moved by the storyline so I have no issues with it.

@sava2sava @viyra @msmy  I understand what your saying a I have a tendancy to jump episodes as well if the plot line is getting tedious to watch, especially the dramas over 120 episodes.  

 

Its hard to come across the dramas now that dont have a psychotic witch in them, in which case most of them come down with a illness or ask for forgiveness and immediately finished.  Like watching 100 episodes of revenge made up for 5 minutes of forgiveness.  So abit sick of those plot lines now.

 

I have run out of these nice family drama's to watch, I have either seen them or dont like something in the plot lines. But I really get irritated when the couple breaks up for the "better" instead of fighting it together.  So him I understand the need to persue revenge but he is an idiot for not seeing that she is psychotic and not going to let go that easily and secondly the ex who is going to spend 50 episodes or more  missing him and pining away after him awaiting his return in which case she will no doubt welcome him with open arms.  Okay I need to open my heart abit more here but sadly even getting angry at him, telling him to get lost or finding another man who genuinely loves her to stick with her to the end is better than being love lorn through these drama's

@fragglerockI hear you - I've watched a lot of daily dramas that go as far as 150 episodes.  They actually were good when it gets in the middle - but then as the drama goes on, we start blaming the PDs because we get annoyed at how it is going.  I stayed away from dailies after Still Loving You, First Love Again, Promise, etc. because the endings were not satisfying enough.  The only daily I enjoyed was The Person That Gives Happiness - I was satisfied with how it ended. 

 

While staying away from dailies, I  came across a 50-episode drama Assorted Gems - I found it real good and went crazy with it that I kept on rewatching it.

 

Anyway. I am joining a forum again, which means I am enjoying the drama Love To The End.  The cast  is new to me, except for Lee Young Ah (KaYoung) but I gave it a try anyway and so far, to me it is good.  I hope you ( @fragglerock)   continue to hang around and join us in voicing our frustrations - and anger - and sometimes happiness - with the story..

@viyra:  HA!  For ages Assorted Gems was one of my favorite dramas.  Loved that the kids kicked out the rotten parents.  Then it was New Tales of Gisaeng.  I liked about 85% of that series.  THEN it was Marry Me Mary; liked about 90% of that series, until Mary hooked-up with the guitar guy.  She should have taken the Heir.  Oh well.  Typical KDrama.  

 

I'm dying to know HOW the Writer gets this mess untangled.  I know WHAT will happen in The End, but I'm dying to know HOW the Writer gets there.  Kinda like New Tales of Gisaeng... HOW the Writer got that girl married into the rich family when she worked as a dancer and 'married' someone else!  But then, like all series, it went off-the-rails.  Like Apgujeong Midnight.  Started out whack --> where can you go from there?  Don't even get me started on Princess Aurora!

@watchumlots I'm now re-watching Apgujeong Midnight Sun now. I really like that daily - Kang Eun-tak does a marvelous job in it, as do all the other actors/actresses. 

 

I'm glad the drama didn't air today. Gives me time to bring my BP down . These daily dramas have made me realize that I have deep-seated anger issues.

Sung Hoon was the hot topic during New Tales of Gisaeng - the popularity of the drama coincided with my vacation to Korea.  I was hoping I would have a glance of Sung Hoon during my vacation but alas - no trace of him.  I got lucky tho' I got to shake hands with actor Jin Tae Hyun and got his autograph while filming a drama at the Incheon Airport with Lee Chung Ah (who snubbed me) while waiting for my flight.

 

A big question really - how is the writer going to untangle the current situation.  It seems they exposed SeNa's secret a tad early at this point, considering we're still halfway along, and Emily's brave stance on going on a different route than that of JH.  I am guessing there is something more than what we were all guessing - the real reason for JH's anger on SeNa.  There must be something deeper than  'tuition betrayal' they were all talking about.

 

@Takingthehighroad- same here!!  I don't ever learn about watching daily dramas.  As soon as the daily drama I watched has ended, I promise myself not to  watch another one but what happens?  I keep coming back to the forum.  The biggest disappointment always is  when the villain gets away with their crimes - or forgiven by the people they wronged.   I hope this doesn't happen to Love to the End - SeNa should go to jail and punished for life. 

 

BTW - isn't it at Apgujeng the drama where Kang Eun Tak showed his dancing ability?

@viyra.... May I ask why do you believe that JH’s anger on SN runs deeper that what was shown to us viewers. I for one don’t see thee is more to his anger. I think JH’s anger comes from the fact that Se Na can’t see to let people be happpy. 

 

Se Na tends to lie that we should all live their own lives but is still scheming to get her way. Se Na's m. o is to seduce people , control them and keep her mask on until she can dispose them. 

Us viewers have no idea what is Se Na's goal is. So far we know she figured out it was HK's mom who ordered the death of the real Se Na. She fears that HK's father might find out that she is fake, she is trying to make sure dear old dad becomes chairman but is that what she really want. I also remmember that Se Na is alway recording her conversation with HK's dad and the CHairman, so that makes me wonder Is she planning on betraying HK's dad at later time??? Se Na is very confusing character and very evil . 

Another thing I find really weird is that  Why does she want custody of SY? She is never home and the child will hardly ever see her. She is so busy trying to be rich that she never spend time with her daughter. Isn't she just being greedy

Will there be another time jump???

 

That means JH is not coming back on screen for a few episodes again???

Then how the story will go on???

It seems time jump will be, because from preview Sena and KY's brother's daughter seems bigger, elder (10-11 years old)...  Now it's possible that JungHan will divorce with Emily and KaYoung will be married with other man. I can't believe, maybe they can be together when they will be 90 years old... It's ridiculous, it's possible that I will finish, I can't bear. I will wait a bit (tomorrow episode), but it's too much for me.

ln this case, better stop watching? lt's hard to watch them to get back together when they are old.

l think KY could be marrying HK, l remember Haeri encourages them to get into courtship.

Really disappointed, l agree the storyline seems rediculous.

The best Isee is a 2 month time skip which make sense.

 

The kids dont look any different or anything to me.

@UnniSarah  SN has told the chairman that she was a fake and threaten to expose to the world that it was his sister that killed her.. The chairman laughed at her and give her the logical explanation that his sister had nothing to do with the real Sena death. From the flashback it looks like it was just a accident.. Now she knows she's being cornered from every angel and looking for her a way out.. So she goes running back to KY blind brother who sat and listen to what she had to say.. I don;t think he could even believe his ears at what she was saying but she sure is trying to leave a place that she could go back to.. Henpeck brother even allowed her to see her daughter with him being there..  I say he still hasn't learned to cut ties with her and move on.. 

 

I'm with you now just whats her goal.. She has bought srtocks in that company which she can be sued for.. I think part of they're divorce she should have been made to give them up or atleast half.. I think Sena is just pure greedy and coming from poverty she's not going to go back to poverty.. This leads me to believe she'll kill again even if it means killing the chairman off to keep her place.. She's the type she'll pick YB owners off one by one.. Sena don't realizes she's got to pay for JH dads death and he's going to make damned sure she does..

@fansdrama  I think JH returning to america has something to do with what KY mom talk to him about..  But Jh may know Emily has been having a onesided crush on him.. I tend to think JH returning to America is to get rid of Emily.. If this is so he knows she'll come back searching for him and nobody would know where he is.. JH will build a new revenge plan that don't involves her or choose a different route and go into business for himself and expand it into a global company.. I want to see whats going to happen if indeed he's returning to America with scatterbrain..

I really stop watching because after the first half it got draggy to me

l think by the time (time jump abt 5-6yrs),  JH and KY son will be 11-12yrs old, he is matured enough to understand his father not coming back to them. He will choose not to recognise and accept his dad when he is really back home.

JH by then will realize that he is making a big mistakes as he takes his revenge more important than them by abandoning them twice.

Posting based on tidbits from members who have watched the recent episode:

 

I don't believe  for one second that JH will  leave with his plan unfulfilled/unsettled.  And I am guessing a time jump at this point in time is too early.  I also don't see a possibility of HK and KY getting together - HK's first love, and still his current love, is JeongBin, and KY's only love is JH.

 

@UnniSarah- that's my wild guess, basing on JH's reactions when he dashed to the airport when he learned SeNa is coming - the look on his face shows he is ready to kill someone.  His reaction from then until now hasn't changed - there is so much anger from him to SeNa.

 

SeNa is the evil  witch who never run out of evil things to do - she has to continue on with her evil things to keep this drama going.  I am again guessing that if and when JH leaves for another place, it is to erase the scar on his face so when he returns, he can come face to face with his son.  

 

Are both JH and Emily leaving or JH just escorting Emily to the airport?

From the preview nothing I saw showed me a time jump or that HH + EM were leaving.

 I just saw her hugging HH crying. I thought it was because he found CDB again.

In preview almost every scene plays in  present, but one scene  is after time jump: where KY's brother and Sena watch their daughter dancing, it's BIG SPOILER. Although parents looks the same, but their daughter is not the same. And it's not about 2 month, but 4 years time jump will be (1 year pregnancy, 5 years revenge and now 4 years = 10 years). Remember in the series' beginning KY said that she would wait for 10 years. It seemed to be joke, but it's reality in the drama. Writer planned everything forward. Although they forgot one thing... Yoon Soo will be teenager (9-10 years), who doesn't need his father... He will be not innocent child anymore, who will cling onto his father. He will be angry for abandoning him and I can't blame him for this. I think because of the photo (what KY's mom gave) he forgives for his dad (and he finds out that he loved him). Maybe he doesn't have sister or brother, because parents are middle-aged... I hope you are right, I wish that I'm wrong.

It's not accidental that KY's mom said to him that yet it's not time to return in 2 month and although maybe HotHunk will return in USA with Emily, I think he divorces immediately there (he will plan the revenge forward alone), because now he knows from KY's mom that Emily lied to him. And maybe KY will wait for him again. I don't think she will get married with HyunKi or other man, because he doesn't deserve because of his cowardice, plus he loves JungBin.

I think it is 100 episodes only, that's why it is not dragging
