I didn’t like how the show portrayed people with schizophrenia as inherently dangerous/aggressive. It reinforces negative stereotypes of mental illnesses. Almost stopped watching because of this.

Having said that I am curious about what is going on with the male lead  From what is being suggested, seems like he has a robotic arm with super strength? That, or he is Do Bong Soon’s son with the hoodie and all :P

Just a robotic arm would not bleed.... so there might be a different secret.

I was reminded on you who came from the star - because he too tried to avoid people. But it is maybe way to early to make wild guesses. I will wait for more information.

As  a fact - even I wanted to scold the female lead (need to train names again) already a few times -  she is kinda stupid but not in that annoying naiv way. So I will wait and see.

And I wish for more - I love it.

One more reason for me to love it is my memories are triggered here. I was an airport child - my father worked there and i often visited him and later I worked there too for a time.

Most definitely not....where did I get this idea that it was ???? :w00t:

This drama is a pleasant surprise. Did not expect the fantasy element! Agree with @Mau_Cherry that our male lead is more than just a bionic man. My curiosity has been stoked and am looking forward to finding out his story.  I was wondering why he was being such a snobbish prick but realised later that he was not comfortable with people finding out about his "condition" and wishes to keep as low a profile as possible.  Thankfully the female lead is played by Chae Soo Bin, whom I like. Her character , HYR, is usually not one of those that I warm up easily to. It's not so much the clumsy female trope that has been used to death by k dramas that I dislike; it's more because she's rash, puts her foot in her mouth and doesn't realise that she needs to walk the talk. Granted she's also been unlucky . However she's honest and earnest , so I think we will be seeing her growth as the drama progresses.

I soooo agree - her character makes me have a few hard times. Lying that she is good with direction - but the friend just said - you are so bad with it. It will just always put other in trouble when she can´t accept that she need to ask for help from time to time. But okay - i guess we need a person like her to get him out of his shell.

Yes - he tries hard to not get too much attention. Maybe he once was treated as  a monster or something like that. I fear he got too much attention in the past and it was not good for him.

Still he can´t  stand aside when someone is in real danger - extremly kids.

I loved the way they made the scene when he rescued the boy - flying suitcases - ah hilarious - for a moment I was not happy - felt like thats too much - but just one line - its just a rumour - and stories get bigger - yes - good way to show it.

(On a sidenote - I am not a Twilight Fan - but I can´t stop getting remembered on the scene when the vampire stopped the car... gosh. How to delete that...)

Is the only superpower he has the arm? I wait to see the RAW now. I was not able to watch on Air. Okay - I needed to decide what to watch and it was soooo hard.... Now I have two gems on one day and they rival against each other - oh no....

Can it be that he is not all the time magnetic???

[SPOILERS!!!][Where Stars Land Roundup] Episode 1 (premiere)

Nationwide ratings for episode 1: 7.2% (cr. Nielsen Korea)
1. [+414, -106] Am I the only one enjoying it....? I'm going to watch this on Monday-Tuesday!
2. [+529, -268] Chae Soo Bin doesn't have the impression of a female lead, how did she get casted in a important drama like this, I feel like she's lacking to be Lee Je Hoon's co-star
↪ [+72, -10] Koong kwang.. (t/n: Koong kwang is the sound effect of stomping and people use the term 'koong kwang-ah' then they're saying it's like a fat person hating on celebrities and what not or that the commenter is a fat person)
↪ [+101, -1] If you think like that then do supporting actors have to be supporting actors forever...... ㄷㄷ
3. [+250, -24] It might be the character but I don't like Chae Soo Bin's personality, is it even possible in the real work place for her to get smart with her senior Kim Ji Soo.. First off, the cinematography is pretty and because I like going to the airport, I liked learning about things I didn't know about the airport ㅎㅎ
4. [+185, -12] The cinematography is so pretty ㅠㅠ What's with Lee Je Hoon's arm? I'm so curious ㅋㅋ
5. [+172, -19] I was looking forward to it because good actors are coming out but.. Because there's so much forced set-ups, I was disappointed to the point where I was furrowing my brows. Especially, did they just have to write the female lead like that so that the drama can go on..
6. [+102, -10] Inconvenient female lead ㅜ
1. [+361, -22] The male lead is really cool but... the female lead is a bit dumb, reckless, has no ability to deal with crisis, she's a troublemaker and her personality is even self-centered... Why are the female lead characters in Korean dramas all like that...
2. [+111, -11] God Je Hoon ㅠㅠㅠ Ah I feel like he's going to record a new life character
3. [+72, -6] Is this 'You Who Came From the Stars' season 2?
4. [+58, -3] Kim Ji Soo-nim's acting force is no joke, the cinematography is good. I'm going to watch the drama until today and then decide, currently I'm undecided

Been a fan of these two leads and been waiting patiently from this drama and finally it started!

I already finished watching all episodes and waiting again for the full subbed.

Wanna know your thoughts guys on overall episode :) for me it was good so far. Not Chae Soobin's best portrayed character and Lee Jehoon too but they both nailing the characters.

I'm still confused if this is a scifi drama or a fantasy .. but either of the two, I realized the PD in this drama is the one behind Secret Garden also. About to make sense ... and I the writer got enough credits on his/her belt to follow this drama.

Waiting on the airport ....

I have been watching this weeks premiere of the show and have to say that I am liking the set up so far.

I do agree that YR is not horribly like able as a character so far with her not listening to people and such.... But I do see what is going on with her. Apparently she has spent a whole year being criticized and scolded about how she works and does things. So she feels that nothing she does is right, thus she is absolutely desperate for some recognition or praise. And when you get desperate, logic starts falling by the way side. And with YR it just makes more trouble.

She does need help, but it is hard to ask or accept help when everyone is screaming about your incompetence and feels like they are against you. So you want to prove yourself of you own merits, even if you can't do it. It turns into a pride thing.

I think once SY establishes himself as someone not against YR, she will start to listen to him and accept help. As for SY and his own issues...while most of them have not come into light. I think it is important that he have someone who needs him... He has a natural protective instinct and seems to have a hard time ignoring people who needs help... and with YR she really needs someone to help.

It is early in the series to say exactly how they will change, but I do think that there is some potential. Usually we see our main characters at their ugliest in the beginning to establish them and demonstrate the change that they will need to progress through in the series.

[Fox Bride Star] PILOT Ep 1 Lee Je Hoon saves Chae Soo Bin twice with his supernatural powers

Article: Naver 'Fox Bride Star' A fateful meeting with Chae Soo Bin and Lee Je Hoon, "It was you"
  • Lee Soo Yeon (Lee Je Hoon) works in the airport. Han Yeo Reum (Chae Soo Bin) passes her interview to work in the airport and she went to work on her first day late.
  • Yeo Reum keeps finding Soo Yeon familiar.
  • Soo Yeon saves Yeo Reum by defending her with his arm. Yeo Reum remembers that Soo Yeon had saved her in the past with his supernatural powers too.

1. [+334,-81]
Am I the only one enjoying this....? I'm watching this for Mondays and Tuesdays!

2. [+388,-185]
Chae Soo Bin doesn't have that female lead feeling. Pairing with Lee Je Hoon, she seems lacking.

3. [+151,-9]
The cinematography is really pretty. ㅠㅠ What's with Lee Je Hoon's arm? I'm so curious. ㅋㅋ

4. [+115,-35]
I'm going to keep watching Fox Bride Star. It's so interesting..

5. [+81,-7]
I was looking forward to this because there are good actors in it... But there are too many forced scenes that it made me squint my eyes. I'm disappointed. Especially the female lead's character. Is it really necessary to make her that way in order for the story to flow..

6. [+66,-5]
Burdensome female lead. ㅜ

7. [+62,-3]
To be honest, is there anyone else who saw Lee Je Hoon holding the walkie-talkie and thought of the drama 'Signal'..??????  As expected, Lee Je Hoon is an actor you can trust with his diction and acting and watch his drama. Fighting.

8. [+59,-8]
Are there people doing part-time jobs to write comments? It's filled with only good comments. The female lead is burdensome, and it feels like a superhero genre, but not a superhero genre. What a waste of Lee Je Hoon.

9. [+54,-8]
It's interesting!!! I'm going to continue watching this!! ㅋㅋㅋ Lee Je Hoon ❤️

[Fox Bride Star] Eps 3 & 4 Chae Soo Bin is curious of Lee Je Hoon who is unable to feel pain

Article: Naver 'Fox Bride Star' Chae Soo Bin "Lee Je Hoon who is unable to feel pain, slowly getting more curious"
  • Han Yeo Reum (Chae Soo Bin) accidentally spills hot ramyeon on Lee Soo Yeon (Lee Je Hoon)'s hand.
  • Soo Yeon tells her that he can't feel pain. Yeo Reum slaps him in the face to try it out.
1. [+352,-18]

It was so funny when Lee Je Hoon was slapped today ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.. Lee Je Hoon's expression was so real. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+343,-58]
It's all good, but why is Chae Soo Bin's role so burdensome?? ㅋㅋ Makes me dislike it. ㅋㅋ

3. [+277,-8]
I was so focused on watching because of Lee Je Hoon's stable voice tone! I'm looking forward more!

4. [+204,-10]
I'm curious of Lee Je Hoon's secret. And his gaze is good... He has a refreshing personality, he does things well, he's so cool. I like the male lead.

5. [+111,-19]
The female lead is burdensome, she is too overly confident. It's boring, I turned the channel. ㅋ

6. [+71,-7]
The female lead character is too.. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

7. [+51,-5]
Lee Je Hoon matches his role well. ㅋㅋㅋ I like this drama. ㅜㅜ

8. [+51,-5]
It's a waste that the female lead has ADHD.

p/s: i plan to watch the two eps later since the leads was my fav, otherwise is CSB really that bad? until knets had to criticize her?

Is Soo-Yeon one of the members of Marvel's Avengers!?:w00t:

His hair though.... TRAGIC<_<

So annoyed with Yeo-Rum! Like don't ignore good advise YO. Look where it got ya. She needs to swallow her pride and listen.

Oh and of course one of my fave all time drama tropes, when danger strikes, PLEASE under no circumstance against your better judgment DODGE. No. Instead stay put. Why? Who knows? A hot mutant guy might swoop in to save ya;):P
