SBS’s “Where Stars Land” is about mysterious Lee Soo Yeon (played by Lee Je Hoon), the new employee who harbors a secret, and Han Yeo Reum (played by Chae Soo Bin), the first year employee with a sorrowful past whom trouble always seems to follow. The two work at Incheon International airport along with their colleagues, and embrace each others’ wounds. The drama is penned by writer Kang Eun Kyung behind SBS’s “Romantic Doctor Kim.” In newly released character posters, Lee Je Hoon looks back in front of a reddish, dusky sky with a warm smile. It introduces his character as a member of the passenger service team, and his caption reads, “I met the you who remembers me.” Chae Soo Bin gazes off into the darkening night sky with a smile as well. Her character is also introduced as a member of the passenger service team, and her caption reads, “You happened to be there.” Lee Dong Gun stands in front of a purple-tinged sunset. He wears a smart suit along with a mysterious, tight-lipped smile. His character is described as Team Leader Seo In Woo of the operations department. Kim Ji Soo smiles into the hazy dusk, stylish yet professional, and exudes confidence. Her character is Yang Seo Goon, the head of the passenger service team. A source from the production team stated, “We worked hard to portray each character’s past and personality by bringing the space of the sky to life, as well as through the four actors’ detailed expressions. Please look forward to the fun stories about the inner goings of Incheon airport in ‘Where Stars Land,’ which will bring out autumn-like emotions in a fairy tale-like melodrama.” “Where Stars Land” is slated to air after “30 but 17” on October 1 at 10 p.m. KST. https://www.soompi.com/article/1229653wpp/lee-je-hoon-chae-soo-bins-upcoming-airport-drama-releases-sky-themed-character-posters

samecut123
Chae Soo Bin Is Forever Unlucky And Totally Relatable In New SBS Drama Sep 14, 2018 by eclipse01 SBS’s upcoming drama “Where Stars Land” has revealed its first glimpse of star Chae Soo Bin in character! “Where Stars Land” is a new Monday-Tuesday drama starring Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin as a pair of Incheon International Airport employees who meet on the job. Lee Je Hoon will play the role of Lee Soo Yeon, a mysterious new employee who is hiding a secret, while Chae Soo Bin will star as Han Yeo Reum, an accident-prone employee with a sorrowful past. The drama will follow the lives of the two employees as they grow closer and eventually begin to heal each other’s emotional wounds. On September 14, “Where Stars Land” released new stills of Chae Soo Bin looking miserable as the long-suffering Han Yeo Reum, a perennial victim of Murphy’s Law. After just one year at the airport, Han Yeo Reum has already earned herself the nickname “human bomb,” notoriously appearing to cause trouble wherever she goes. Some of the photos show Han Yeo Reum desperately racing across the airport while pushing a heavy cart, while another captures the character banging her head against the wall in a moment of despair. Described as an all-too-realistic female lead, Han Yeo Reum’s determined, hardworking attitude and her never-ending bad luck make her an adorably relatable protagonist. Actress Chae Soo Bin spoke fondly of her character, remarking, “Han Yeo Reum’s passionate efforts to be acknowledged [as a dependable employee] in spite of her repeated mistakes make her both relatable and charming. So as filming progresses, I’m developing more and more affection for the character.” Chae Soo Bin went on, “I’m going to create a character that viewers can’t help but love. I want to properly convey each step of Han Yeo Reum’s development in terms of work, love, and everything.” The producers of “Where Stars Land” had nothing but praise for the actress’s portrayal of the character, reporting, “Thanks to her thorough preparations, Chae Soo Bin arrived at the very first shoot as Han Yeo Reum herself. Just like Han Yeo Reum, she has been spreading her lovable energy to the staff through her passionate efforts throughout filming.” They added, “Please look forward to Chae Soo Bin’s realistic acting, which will help viewers become completely immersed [in the drama].” “Where Stars Land” is currently scheduled to premiere in October. samecut123
Watch: Lee Je Hoon And Chae Soo Bin Share Inner Thoughts + Have Drastically Different Job Interviews In “Where Stars Land” Sep 17, 2018 by nature1010 Lee Je Hoon’s and Chae Soo Bin’s characters are revealed to be very different people for “Where Stars Land.” In the first teaser, Lee Je Hoon helps passengers in the terminal with a smiling face, but shows his pensive side when not interacting with them. He narrates, “260,000 people pass by and work here every day. But the only thing that I want, is to not reveal myself, as much as possible.” In the second teaser, Chae Soo Bin ducks under a shop alcove to find shelter from the rain. She finds herself standing by Lee Je Hoon and comments, “He happened to be standing there.” Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin show their characters’ distinct personalities during their respective job interviews. During his job interview, Lee Je Hoon looks very proper and sits as straight as a board. When asked why he wanted to work at the airport, he answers, “I originally wanted to be a pilot,” catching the attention of his interviewers. On the other hand, Chae Soo Bin sports a bloody head wound during her interview. Her interviewers are quite concerned, but she brushes them aside, saying, “I really want to pass! It’s my dream!” Afterwards, she passes out. It was reported that during filming, Lee Je Hoon was all smiles in between scenes, but immediately pulled out a calm expression when it was time to film. Chae Soo Bin received applause from staff members, for not holding back when it came to throwing her body against the ground for her fainting scene. The production staff stated, “With their very different personalities, the two will bring a new kind of fun as they become entangled in the same team at the airport. Please look forward to the chemistry between the special man who wants to live an ordinary life, and the ordinary woman who wants to live a special life.” “Where Stars Land” is about the mysterious new employee Lee Soo Yeon (played by Lee Je Hoon) who harbors a secret, and Han Yeo Reum (played by Chae Soo Bin), the first-year employee with the troubled past who causes accidents wherever she goes. The two struggle and heal each other’s wounds as they work together at Incheon International airport. The drama is written by Kang Eun Kyung, the writer behind “Romantic Doctor Kim.” The drama will air on October 1 at 10 p.m. KST, after “30 but 17.” Source
