thank you @fchopin (sorry pulled you out of hiding here!!) One question on the "I Missed you" - would you say there is a relationship sense with that particular phrase used or more for chingus? And now we have the vids of JHI literally on his knees for his noona...how precious can you get? @Oww TooCute NOT SO QUIET ANYMORE. They had a camera on them !!

 

ETA With the full clip - It looks like JHI said the I want to see you in interview? Less formal than in the article? AND he just called her noona.

Thank you @randomthotz for sharing a very precious clip. Though I dont understand what they comment but their voice seem very exciting. SBS, love you . They are absolutely close. If the level of relationship is not yet love, It will be very soon. The way SYJ taps on his arm/ shoulder is very freely, so is the way they communicate. He brings her water or doesnt mind to bend on the floor looking for her thing. Lovely, so lovely

I need an extra pair of ears or three - when he got up to the interviewer, he said something about SYJ, but did he slip up and try to say Yejin-sshi and then covered it up with noona?

보고싶어 is informal so it is usually used towards friends, those your age and younger than you. 

 

The one they used in the article 보고싶어요 (adding 요 --yo) at the end is the formal version towards those older than you, seniors, boss, lover, wife & husband, parents, ect. It is low formality / high politeness.

 

Both can be used in a relationship - informal vs formal. They are commonly used as everyday expressions.

@randomthotz The above video, JHI said 빨리 ‘보고싶습니다’ = I would like to see you quickly. Another way of translating for 보고싶습니다 at the end is the very formal and rarely used version of I MISS YOU.

On October 30 episode of SBS 'Han Bam', Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae In were seen at the '2018 The Seoul Awards' that took place at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace on October 27.

Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae In met for the first time in a while after wrapping up their successful drama 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food'.The two stars sat right next to each other in the very front row of seats, and were spotted catching up with each other while the event went on.

During the event, Jung Hae In showed his gentle behavior to Son Ye-jin by handing her a bottle of water, and getting up to look for her belonging which had fell on the floor.On this day, Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae In were both awarded the Popularity Award, and happen to stand on the stage together.

When they were receiving the award, the host Jeon Hyun Moo said, "Why don't you guys say a word to congratulate one another on receiving the award?"As soon as Jeon Hyun Moo finished his sentence, Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae In walked towards each other and gave each other a warm hug.Looking at this, Jeon Hyun Moo playfully commented, "What? I didn't ask you guys to hug each other, you know!"
