At last some update on the APAN Star Awards....i saw a korean news article...well think it is not about attendance but about some voting...there are 6 males and 6 females...and so nice of them to place JHI and SYJ side by side in the centre...haha.

@Cedric Ong that Body Guard is everywhere. He escorted Hyun Bin recently to ‘Negotiation’ Presscon before. So I think it’s normal for SK celebrities to use same security agencies. I just hope that both will come to APAN. I don’t think they will win APAN popularity vote though. Look at the list IU and Suzy almost always win popularity vote. Their fan base is no joke. Kim Tae Ri and Park Min Young were in high rating dramas. The men...Park Seo Joon is so popular after Secretary Kim. Lee Byung Hun is another big name. Best couple vote may go to Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young though, even though I love the chemistry between SYJ-JHI much more. But it seems like the Park Park is getting more attention these days. I just hope at least maybe JHI will win best new actor and SYJ will win global star so they can attend together at least. I’m wondering if International fans can vote like in Baeksang Awards. BS award organization provided a voting app. Does APAN have that too? I used to vote for JHI for BS popularity vote. I kept clicking on the ads. The more ads you watch, the more votes go to the actor or actress you choose. My boss thought I was crazy at the time since I kept clicking on the ads and let it run without even watching .. hahaha..

@randomthotz thank you for posting SYJ’s previous speech. I will have to watch it again. She did mention Kim Nam Gil specifically in her speech. I will talk about it later.

@thi2018  Instructions to vote with the App thing. I just tried it from Canada and it seemed to work. He's leading by 1000 votes, she's behind by 16000 (Park first, IU second, SYJ third). I couldn't find the App on Play Store but I found it on my IPad. Luckily no ads for this app  but I think you can vote 2 times a day for the voting period with up to three emails.

Did you get it working yet? If not, go "My page">>Edit>>Sign-out and then start the process again. You might have to be careful though, they flagged me on my second account as a possible spammer. 

 

I'm hoping that Best Couple is not a voting award too! ARgh. On the flip side, looking at the wikipedia page for APAN Awards (not sure the history is all there though), Popularity Awards winners have not won the acting awards. So there's still hope!

Thank you! I finally did it but they also flagged  me when I registered my second email so I'm not sure if they take my vote or not. ... but SYJ's votes are so low compared to the 1st and 2nd place so I don't think she will win. There maybe still hope for JHI.  But I hope he wins best new actor instead because that would prove his acting skills. But both is better . Hope SYJ will win big this time too since other actresses on the list cannot be compared to her acting skills. But I don't know what criteria they use when deciding the winners.  No nominees list yet, right? Hopefully,  both will attend this time....please please..they must win for them to attend, I think. Or else we will have to wait until next Baeksang which is too long.

Someone put their ads together....not that the themes are related but the style and their gestures do look compatible....ending with perfect smile at the very end. Imagine if they do an ad together...

 

 

JHI seems to have a lot of ads recently....i guess like he mentioned b4...fame can be fleeting. So perhaps making good use since those brands are approaching him now.

@thi2018 the most important things is that it depends on your own feeling and thoughts about them after realising or seeing hints and the way we approached infomation/hints. Firstly, I believe in my feeling, believe in what I've seen through many fishy things. It might be enough to me and I considered them as their unspoken confirms for their r.ship but you might not.  Or maybe due to I've spent more times following them and observing things than you so my faith was stronger, I guess so :))). One more, fellow shippers around me have same thoughts as mine. Thats might be one of reasons for my high shipper's mood :))). I didnt know why i never wondered if they really love each other or not :))) too strong faith maybe good but also not because who knows what the fact of their currently r.ship is , right?! even I still think they are real couple  :))

I’m not the sure if I’m right but I think it is JHI who likes beer all along whereas SYJ used to be not able to drink much beer as she gets drunk easily, but after filming Pretty Noona she started drinking more and I suspect even got “hooked” on drinking beer . But I guess all that matters is they both love beer now 

 

From the preview of the “Food Bless You” show, JHI looked so shy! I can’t believe he is the same person who grabbed SYJ’s hand and led her and walked with his chest out on the red carpet haha... He really has very different sides of him!

APAN awards popularity vote update 

At this moment,  JHI is leading #1 at 716,674 votes over PSJ 45,474 votes. SYJ's votes are so low. I think SYJ's fan are voting for JHI now since it's almost impossible for her to lead. She is behind PMY by 281,368 votes  PSJ and even PPC fan claimed JHI fan cheat to get higher voting...wow...

The APAN app is weeeeird! I keep getting kicked out when I try to log in and out. It is what it is, JHI has a huge overseas following ATM, and you just need enough to catch on. I don't know where SYJ's fanbase is on the internet (probably strays older as well)...but I rather they get the acting awards than popularity.

If u google "apan star awards" by news....u will see a few pics of Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young with the chinese articles...like expecting them to lead the poll (and eventually attend the event together....just like what we expect our couple to do so too).

 

Well, naturally some idols' fans would voice suspicion and stuff....guess in any popularity poll, unhappiness can happen and some anti-fans might even say very negative stuff. It'll be unavoidable. Just hope no fan wars will happen.
