anjelikaeyes13
I think I am fortunate I don’t have background of Let’s Eat series because I will not have a heartbreak over Seo Jin’s demise. SJ has been in my radar since RDK and backtracked to most her series except Let’s Eat 2 (and I find it really funny not remembering that series and now I have a valid reason not to watch as I might break down because SJ can make her character so real that I had I hard time getting m over the RDK before I was able to watch TL plus I had a second lead syndrome in TL). Anyway, I like the present and past stories of the third installment and reminds me a lot of my college days. However, in past I can only dream of eating in restaurants but now because good budgetting I can eat from canteen food to gourmet food and gourmet suggested to be eaten in groups to taste many types of restaurant’s menu and then later on eat on your own. Very funny I also don’t taking pictures of food before but after eating, so I am not weird at all. Also, I am sad that people think of instagraming the food but they don’t eat it. I also don’t forget to give my comment to the staffs after eating. Previously, I was afraid but when they see you as regular they will respect you. GDY was flirting with JW and JW has been expectant over the years because she felt way too be treated well by GDY but he was not straight forward about his feelings because he too have concerns of their own and plus because of law requirement and now JW’s parents both lost contact and move on. However, they were brought together but instead of free spirited they are too broken to start a relationship. Both are afraid to open up — JW she lost all her confidence to open her heart to GDY as in the past she was left hanging; GDY move on and met another woman that inspired him but he lost her to death (the only feasible thing to justify to start another relationship). I am understanding the writernim’s intention of bringing them back together where it should have started long ago. Writernim is making them stand up to their feelings and face what should have started long ago. For the other couple — one is looking for love while the other is yet to love. They are both inexperience in how to be in an open communication relationship. Both are demanding and temperal. Really loving this story in respect of the story. Kelly86
Honestly, I've only seen bits and like 1 or 2 episodes of the other two seasons so I can't speak for them but I love this season. Being a Doojoon fan I always start his dramas if I lose interest I do but so far this storyline got me hooked and rooting for more.

larus
Let’s Eat 3: Episode 7 by odilettante “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is a golden rule that can come back and bite you if you’re not careful, as some of our characters discover the hard way. It doesn’t matter if it was from 2004 or mere hours ago — the universe remembers and passes judgment. Karma’s a richard simmons, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/08/lets-eat-3-episode-7/
chickfactor
Just a few thoughts about this show: I've watched 1 & 2. Binged both far after they've aired, and this is the first time I'm live-watching. I find the Goo Dae-Yeong character delightful. I'm really enjoying Season 3. But wow, I really do not like Seo-Yeon. At all. Not only is she a selfish succubus, she's a s***-disturber. All she does is push every button she can to annoy and cause chaos. She mooches off and uses everyone she can get her hands on. I just can't find any reason to have sympathy for her. I'll bet that the reason she is estranged from Ji-Woo is because she wasn't there for Ji-Woo when "their" mother started having dementia, leaving Ji-Woo to deal with it on her own. Whatever she did, it must have been a really hurtful thing, because Ji-Woo has been endlessly patient with all of Seo-Yeon's B.S. before. Seo-Yeon's own birth mother is a selfish woman, too. But that doesn't mean I have to excuse her horrible behavior. I don't understand the screen time that she's getting and I don't think she deserves all the breaks that Sun is giving her (paying off her debt, job, free room and board) or his affection. Less Seo-Yeon, please. This show is great otherwise. Not enough food scenes this season, but I'm loving the flashbacks.
larus
Let’s Eat 3: Episode 8 by odilettante Ji-woo’s worked so hard to push Dae-young away, but now that she knows the truth, will she be able to save their friendship? Or has she completely ruined the possibility of rekindling any sort of relationship between the two of them? If only the present day could be filled with the simple cotton-candy dreams of the past. http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/08/lets-eat-3-episode-8/

nubianlegalmind
I am a fan of the Let's Eat series. I have watched both parts 1 and 2. I can handle the story line of the deceased girlfriend because so far, they have never tied DY to anyone forever. They key to this series is the food porn and the side characters, and in this latest installment, they have not disappointed. So far, the story line between DY and JW has been my favorite of the three. However the last two episodes have been really good in advancing the plot of the drama. At first I wasn't feeling JW's sister at all. Her constant selfishness was tiring and the type of k-drama cliche that didn't quite seem to fit into this drama. But thank goodness the writer's decided to give her some growth and I began to like her staying with the CEO because they are helping each other to grow. However, I did not expect him to fall so hard and that kiss was, WOW! One thing that is nagging me is the tension between JW and SY. I think what happened is when her father passed, she probably took whatever money was coming her way and left. But, as we can see from the flashbacks, JW's mother treated her like her very own daughter and spoiled her and often catered to her over her own daughter. So, I can imagine the emotional toll that took on JW's mother to lose her husband and her other daughter back to back like that. Of course, SY is in the dark about this, but not because of JW. JW should not be responsible for filling her in. This woman helped raise you and took care of and loved your father when your biological mother would not. How awful is it that she has seen her bio mom and still hasn't seen her stepmom? I hope she grows enough to at least apologize and then visit JW's mother. I am also curious about the other two friends of DY. We haven't seen them in the present at all, can't wait to see what is going on with them now. larus
Let’s Eat 3: Episode 9 by odilettante No one knows how to deal with their emotions on this show, or the consequences of their actions. Or the consequences of their non-actions. Maybe Sun’s infected them too much with his determination to keep from “crossing the line,” but everyone continues to hide how they really feel in order to keep the peace — or perhaps out of fear of what might happen if they were truly vulnerable. http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/08/lets-eat-3-episode-9/
larus
Let’s Eat 3: Episode 10 by odilettante Ah, regrets. It’s hard to think about the would’ve been, could’ve been, should’ve been if only someone had been honest and forthright. Then again, sometimes a person can be a little too honest, and it gets them nowhere. So maybe stifling things down deep for years is the best solution so no one gets hurt, even if they’ll never be truly happy. http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/08/lets-eat-3-episode-10/ ****** 'Yoon Doo-joon & Baek Jin-hee' stills http://www.sedaily.com/NewsView/1S3FNEKI14

chickfactor
Oooh, this bums me out: https://www.soompi.com/article/1218525wpp/highlights-yoon-doojoon-reportedly-enlisting-military-week I've been really enjoying this show. It's very sweet and the main two characters are so endearing. And I felt like the show was working to come full circle. - First you have Dae-Young finally take the steps to marry his passion for food with his career. - Then you have Ji-Woo, the lady who's apparently "the one" and "the one who got away." They're very sweet together. But if there is a LE4, what makjang way will they get rid of Ji-Woo? They've already done the Truck of Doom. Well, I guess this is the last one for a while anyway. He's off to the army. I'm sorry I sound flip. I'm actually quite sad. I'm also sad to have the show truncated! Finally someone calls Seo-Yeon on her B.S. Hurray Dae-Young! She's so disrespectful and terrible that someone needed to say something. Now that this show has been cut, I'm even sorrier about all the time wasted on her and her horrid cartoon villain of a mother. I'd rather have more sweetness and more fun with the friends gang in college.
larus
August 22 2018 tvN drama series “Let’s Eat 3” shortened to 14 episodes Currently airing tvN drama series “Let’s Eat 3” has been shortened to 14 episodes from its originally planned 16 episodes. The drama series will now finish a week earlier on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 rather than Tuesday, September 4, 2018. The reason for the 2 episode reduction is because lead actor Yoon Doo-Joon will enlist in the South Korean military on August 24, 2018. The screenplay has been condensed to fit into 14 episodes, but the general story line will stay true to the original 16 episode screenplay. http://blog.asianwiki.com/korean-dramas/tvn-drama-series-lets-eat-3-shortened-to-14-episodes

larus
Yoon Doo-joon called to enlist this week, Let’s Eat 3 in talks to cut episodes by girlfriday Boy, life sure is imitating art today. Yoon Doo-joon, lead actor of tvN’s current Monday-Tuesday drama Let’s Eat 3, has been suddenly given his enlistment date in the army… and it’s this Friday, August 24. As a 1989er, Yoon needs to enlist before the year is out, but he was waiting on the results of his test to serve in the police department, which was ultimately rejected. That led to his enlistment date being set with almost no advance notice for later this week, which wouldn’t be a problem save for the fact that he’s in the middle of shooting a currently airing drama. Eep! As fate would have it, his character in the drama, Gu Dae-young, just enlisted in the army in a sudden turn of events and had to say goodbye to his college friends in a matter of days—entirely a coincidence, since the news of Yoon Doo-joon’s enlistment came out on the same day the episode aired. And because Yoon has already filed for an extension once before (due to a knee injury), he won’t be given a second extension. Which obviously leaves the show in a big bind, as he’s the central character of a three-season-long franchise, and this was promoted as the final chapter that would wrap up Dae-young’s story. http://www.dramabeans.com/2018/08/yoon-doo-joon-called-to-enlist-this-week-lets-eat-3-in-talks-to-cut-episodes/ 15 minutes ago, RobinM said: Y’all Suspect some people at the military offices are those creepy evil minded anti fans and put this through? After all what could another week have hurt? I remember when Kim Nam Gil could not finish his drama Bad Guy. SBS and Kim Nam Gil`s management agency took their shot to extend the delay of his enlistment but was then denied.
larus
Let’s Eat 3: Episode 11 by odilettante Everything is falling apart for our favorite characters — or is it? No, it definitely is. Er, maybe. It’s about as clear as Dae-young realizing how he feels about Ji-woo. Hopes and dreams might be reluctantly shoved aside in order to focus on more practical matters — but no one ever truly gives up on their hopes and dreams, do they?
