I don't think we are doing anything wrong, we are not bashing other ships nor any dramas, we have our own opinions and so do they. So lets just learn to respect each other.

Hi, @namidajanai! That's why i find it baffling why some of them are so affected by us MooKang fans. We are just shipping JSM and SIG IN THE DRAMA, not IRL. i think these fans need some reminding and enlightening, coz i don't recall of a time that a member of this forum actually bashed or badmouthed JSM's previous co-stars. I hope they just let us be, as we let them be.

Btw, I finally got the courage to watch the final scene of TSHLYE when JG found the lifeless bodies of JK and MY sprawled on the floor. Apparently, this heartbreaking scene is a little more bearable when watched in broad daylight

I just noticed that JG also touched MY's cheek though very briefly. I found that gesture touching- he's not only mourning JK's passing, he is mourning for them both.

P.S. (I'm actually hearing MY saying P.S. while typing this haha)

Thanks mucho for your support @alivingparadox24! Thanks always

(a) She claims that we don’t have anything substantial to post, and I quote, “[I don't even bother to check that thread.] I know they have no substance to put rather than comparing all the way with her real boyfriend.

I assume that she is referring to the MooKang thread, but this claim also applies to us here, because we compare SIG and JSM’s chemistry with their former onscreen partners, which I think is natural for fans of any actor and any drama. Isn’t it too harsh to say that we have no substance? One of the things I truly enjoyed in this thread (including the new MooKang thread) is how our discourses have always been intellectually stimulating. I wonder where she got the idea that we have no substance. Also, I don’t find anything in the MK thread that compares their chemistry with JSM’s real-life bf.

Since my post was being mentioned here, so allow me to explain myself here. First of all I'm not talking about this drama fans, my post is directed more towards the annoying and delulu shippers on Instagram, YouTube, some of them are slowly coming to soompi thread mookang that was created just recently.

Spoiler

9w8Wakd.jpg

This post is screenshotted by my shipper friend, she said the post is already deleted. The photo is video/gif of SiG and JSM laughing, it's kinda offensive because this post is like mocking LJ's fans who didn't do anything. She also just blindly assumed all people who gave negative reactions to JSM SIG chemistry must be LJ fans.

I was upset because none of Lee Joon's fans ever give any negative reviews, in fact I followed them all on social media and they don't even watched this show. So I wonder which Lee Joon's fans she's talking about. I myself even posted in my Instagram story that I want JSM SiG to work together again because of their good chemistry. No one is jealous over it because we know they're just acting.

b) She claims, and again I quote, “These shippers are just a fan of romance drama, especially with intimate bed scenes and kissing scenes like the one in TSHLYE. Most of them are drawn to the drama because of that scenes, the praises they gave for the chemistry surpassed anyone JSM paired with before highly can be due to that scenes.”

I’m sorry, but I find this so insulting. We all know that our love for TSHLYE goes beyond intimate scenes. Our posts and discourses are testaments to this. We loved the drama in its entirety- acting, cinematography, soundtrack, and writing- and to reduce our love and admiration for TSHLYE to just skinship is a glaring insult.

I'm sorry if you find this insulting, I'm not talking about fans from this soompi thread, but I'm talking about fans from YouTube and Instagram) In YouTube, the views for this kind of scenes have bigger number compare to scenes which don't include any intimate interactions between the couple. So you can conclude yourself from where this shippers coming from and hence the comments on YouTube on which couple has the best chemistry really reflected from that. I also come across many insulting and perverted comments on IG. They love looking down on Somin current real life bf which I don't have any idea what's wrong he did to always being mentioned even during BTIMFL when LJ JSM didn't dating publicly yet the shipper even coming to some LJ's fans IG to give comment, "isn't he gay?" "He's fake" Okay I don't want to mention anymore what they did but I hope this post has enlighten all of you here. Moderator may want to delete this post because it has nothing to do with TSHLYE discussion, so does the post I quoted above. I just want to explain my post that got quoted and misunderstood.

:bawling: "he's pitiful, he gets hurt Too, he gets hurt By people like you! "

There's just soemthing about Jk love for Mooyoung that just gets To me:bawling::wub:

"why cant you cherish yourself?!"

she can't grasp how he is living life without caring about his own Well being. I'm so glad they found Each other. Her cherishing him makes wants to breath:bawling:

The party is over but moving on is really hard

i really love this scene when he finally breath sighs of relief after seeing Jk, he can finally breath after finding Jk that just makes My heart flutters:wub:

@alivingparadox24 i'm a mookang trash Too :joy:glad I've found a fellow trash.

In case y'all haven't seen, here are two Viki clips of interviews that SIG, JSM, & PSW did after the press conference about two months ago:

https://www.viki.com/videos/1141206v-exclusive-interview-with-the-cast-part-1

and

https://www.viki.com/videos/1141207v-exclusive-interview-with-the-cast-part-2

(Gah, it was so funny when JSM is describing working with the kitty for awhile and PSW had the most bored expression on his face as if thinking to himself, "There was a cat in the drama? Since when?" Lol)

I watched the original telecast of the J-version of this drama, and have never forgotten it.

As with the original, the K-version can be perfectly described in one word ... Memorable.

It's not a drama that asks for our sympathy, forgiveness or even understanding.  Nor does the drama give sympathy, forgiveness or understanding to the characters or events.  The drama just present things for what it is.  And, this is what makes it memorable.

The acting is even more superb than in the original.:)

This is everything!!  You described it perfectly. I understand people's reactions to the ending. Its tragic but to say its ruined makes no sense to me. I wish they could think of what you said because it would give them a better understanding of this drama.

Yes, the acting and chemistry between the leads was way better than original. I also think the way the characters were much better written than 100 million. While the characters and relationships in both shows had a lot of depth, layers, and complexity I was more emotionally connected and invested with the characters of TSHLYE.

I was invested With The characters from The get go too, maybe because they took a different arc in this show that makes it more endearing than The jversion. I think The jversion was good Too but somehow i wasnt as heartbroken for Them as i was for mookang when mooyoung assumed that JK was his sister, that realization was heartwrenching To watch! Because i was so invested With their love for Each other, And Then when The relief and dissapointment(because he killed seran) when mooyoung found out from JG that JK is not his sister was very Well conveyed.

@phi3nk thank you for this BTS. PWS was still tired after his wailing session and IT must have been an emotional scene for him, losing his sister in such a tragic setting.

This drama must have been fun and exhausting for all of Them involved, but I'm kinda glad The ratings arent as abyssmal its ok for a cable show and people were definitely paying attention To seo inguk in it. I hope all of Them Will continue on to more projects after this. I'll definitely Check out seo inguk and somin next step:wub:

PWS final scene was so gut wrenching and to do multiple takes would have been so emotionally exhausting. For all of them it was probably one of the most difficult days of shooting. It was difficult for us to say goodbye to characters so I can't imagine how hard it would be for the actors to say goodbye to their characters so abruptly with no additional scene for closures.

True. And the deadline looms on the horizon- less than two weeks from now! I hope we would be able to place our orders in time and that the required minimum 1k preorders would be met! I hope it's just a minor glitch in the system!

I was finally able to purchase the pre-order DC Blu Ray The smile has left your eyes :)

The site (global.yes24.com) is not the most user-friendly site but it is safe. I had issues with the addresses so when putting your address details in manually fill in both lines. For those who have a suite # or apt # it will work fine but for those who only need to use 1 line for the address just repeat the same address you provided in line 1 in line 2. Even though its duplicate the postal service will understand. That's the only way you can proceed with to billing.

I know its on the pricier end ($228 + shipping) but its will be worth it for those who loved the show. Because Christmas is around the corner think of it as an early gift to yourself or if a family or friend is willing to get it for you give them the details.

Please click on the link I provided below as the title of the smile has left your eyes does not appear on their search page

THE SMILE HAS LEFT YOUR EYES DIRCTORS CUT BLURAY LINK

There are two lines for the address and if no one has a suite number or apt number just type in the same address in line 1 and 2.

DEADLINE:  MIN 1000 PRE-ORDERS BEFORE  16TH DECEMBER 18

@kdramaaddict212 Thank you SO much for the directions and clearing up the confusion! Will get on it right now!

Btw, I read in an IG post promoting the DC Blu Ray, and they said that after purchasing it off YesAsia, that you need to send a message on the Naver (?) TSHLFY forum indicating that you already bought so they can tally up the number of orders.

is that something you did or know if you have to do?
