I shift from "there's still hope for a happy ending" to "we are doomed".

I'm reflecting upon the official statement in particular We are putting constant thought into drawing an ending that truly highlights the underlying theme (love) portrayed through the drama, while also displaying the original work’s strengths.

Let's stay positive chingu! I prefer to see the crazy Oppa dead... His obsession is annoying me too much -.-'

@piekeboeboe MY wears ordinary clothes but he still looks amazing in them. He practically only wears one coloured t-shirt with a hoodie or a plaid shirt. But as you noticed as well, he looked particularly stunning in white.

I found him especially attractive in this scene when he was running after JK and was all sweaty  :glasses:

Totally with you

Jin Gook did something wrong in the past, and i think that raising Jin Kang he found a way of redeem himself, it was because of her he could start again. He told  YuRi that everybody deserve a second start  and told her about him having a second chance..All that because of love, Jink Kand represent that for him, He wants her to be happy, he don't want her to be with someone like him. I think MY resemble the old JG in any way.  JG loves her sister too much and she is the most important thing for him.  !The Love! but he can't accept that Jin Kang can be that second chance for MY too. She represent the love for MY, she is the only thing that MY realy loves and he had knew the love because of her.

The love save the soul

Its hard to think of it as love when KG just shouts at a 30 year old girl to stop seeing someone. The reasons he gave were beyond a thinking person's ability to accept because for all intents and purpose MY works hard, was hurt by people like her brother ( as she said it). Yes MY messed with JK's best friend and she died but JK does not know the details. JK is a thinking person with a great heart and just being ordered and shouted at would not make her change her mind. If its love, it is better to come clean for her sake. The way JG behaves is unkind and irrational..stabbing someone does not solve the problem (he shows the tendency to be reactive and rash, as he did when he shot MY's father). If MY had died from the stabbing, JK would be left alone with JG in jail and the guilt of it all on her shoulder.

Spoilers here as I talk about Japan ending:

thank you for having summarized the japanese ending, however,

@Table122000  @jujuls  Thank you so much for summery Jversion ending. Before I knew just a little of tragic end. After reading your summery in details and timeline, I’m in shock! This is so hard. They do ending like that for the last 30mintes of Episode Final!

Spoiler

Misunderstanding!  / Lies / Not know if that Love or Being use / Not know the truth / KILL and KILL ..... and END!

THAT they give to viewer in final and make this version so BIG?!

I’m glad I stop watch Jversion at Ep.4.

That time I did not feel attached to Ryo and Yuko which I love MY-JK from start. The ending of Jversion is like I have make story of Ryo Yuko in beautiful place in my heart and then someone tear that apart to little pieces.

Thank you you both. Now I’m think I’m wel prepare (^__^”) ready for whatever will come for MY-JK for the final.

I believe in writer and director will make it good.

"Love will save people". For me, it does not literally mean that their love can actually save them from dying or from an inevitable beautiful sad ending in the same way that people do not have any power over our loved-ones once the time comes that they have to leave this world no matter how much we love them even more than ourselves.

Sorry to cut your wonderful post!

I wanted to take my time to answer to you because I wanted to say a lot - had the feeling I found someone who thinks alike for that Drama. But as always - i will do that when i have more time... haha...

I agree so much with your last post - and - even i still keep this little hope for a more or less happy or maybe a bit open end with the possibility to get happy (don´t ask me how many different scenes I already played in my mind) - I agree too, that the flow of the Drama leads to a bittersweet ending. BUT - the Love will save people - line - woke my hope again and raised it up not for them to live somerwhere happy and get two kids, a cat and a dog - but to let them stay together until the end. The worst for me - for this Drama would be if it follows the end of the J Version.

Spoiler

JK is so different already - so I really could not stand her beeing the one in the end killing him - and finding out after that what he hides from her. Yes I have a little hope that in the end she can be the one telling him that his father is his father - and he is he - and he is the one she loves. Not blaming him - if the theory is right about his father killed her father.

In the end - if tragic or not - I still want them to be together (as I believe again).

And please - be overly romantic - the world needs a bit more of this.

@Table122000

about the J Version Final

Spoiler

for me the most tragic part was when she found his letter after she shot him - and found out he lied - he loved her for real. But on the other hand - I needed her to know. Believing his lies until the end would be even more tragic for me - so I kinda liked it more that she followed him.

This is a foreshadowing, right?  :tears::tears:  Please, don’t lie to her... don’t let her think you never loved her. :bawling:

Yes it is - and I can sense hard scenes to come - she will fight for him - and she will not give up easily - and this words will be even more reason for her to get after him when he start to push her away. And he will become even more evil to protect her - and I believe that will be the time he goes to Se Ra - to make his choice clear for everyone to see - not caring about his own life anymore... Great - even writing that makes me sad - how can I stand watching something like this to come... worry-raccoon-emoticon.gif?1302774081

Yep, I believe so :(

I am already gauging myself for the worst possible endings and the preparation is not helping me either. I can’t help but think that the official statement serves as a precaution to prepare ourselves for the most bittersweet ending in Kdrama universe. And I just hope not coz official statements are very rare.

@Mau_Cherry I couldn’t agree more with you. Sera will probably harm JK’s life to control MY and...

Spoiler

If ever JK’s life is put on the line (in the final episode), MY will definitely be there to protect her just like the way he shielded her from the kettle when they were younger.

idk but I’d rather see them die together in the hands of Sera than seeing MY get shot by JK and JK eventually shooting herself. That scenario will probably haunt me for life.

And the only things that will probably keep me sane if ever this drama ends bitterly:

1. JSM and SIG pairing up together in a comedy drama series/miniseries/movie (just like Fukatsu Eri and KimuTaku in Change. Their roles were really different in Sora Kara. KimuTaku became a real dork and Eri was really level headed in Change)

2. JSM becoming SIG’s leading lady in his MV if ever a comeback is in the making (I can totally see JSM and SIG pulling off a BeBe-like vibe music video, that would be totally hot hahahahaha)

Fans can dream, can’t we? :bawling:

I dread the ending the way Louie fears the spider. This is probably me on the final episode.

@Mau_Cherry@aislingIndeed! That scene was definitely a foreshadowing. MY will be left with no choice but to break all the promises that he told JK in the previous episode. Worse, he will have to play with other people's feelings again and pretend that he is actually the evil person that they think he is as he goes back to Se Ra.

And such will be really bittersweet knowing that he will all be doing that for the sake of his love for JK. In the past episodes, we can truly see how much he loves her and one way is by showing that he also values the people who matter to her. That for me is true in love in its truest sense. I think in the next episode, he will already remember that it was JG who killed his father. He could not share that to JK. But to protect her from the harsh truth as well as to save the image that she has of her brother (as MY has been doing in the previous episides), he will have no choice but to stay away from her thereby protecting the image of her brother while unfortunately destructing his own. Ohh Moo Young ❤❤❤

I fear what will come - and i still can´t wait to see the next episode.

I fear he will go to Se Ras Side out of his free will - pretending he cares for money and power. Se Ra will believe she was so right about him - and she will hate it so see that JK is able to weaken him. I fear we will see him broken and ruined - whenever he believes noone sees him.

I really like the metapher of the burn scars. he protected JK in the past - he could not rescue her from all harm - but even as a kid he protected her the best he could - and he will do that again. And he will suffer a lot to do that.

I already can sense how hurtfull it will be for me to watch him in even deeper inner pain than before. Now he knows loves - and he needs to get away from it to rescue the one he loves. And all the people will believe JG was right about MY. So my only hope is - JK should never believe his lies.

I wonder if they will let him think on one point they are siblings - that would trick us too - or if it really will be the my father killed your father case. As I see MY now - he could deal with JG killed his father - but he could not deal with my father killed her father. He did not blame JK for her brother to harm him too.

tvN still hasn’t released any news about Lost bun Ahn Ji Yeon? I’m desperately waiting for that song  :frown: I even converted some YouTube videos to mp3 so I can listen to the song.

Watch: Seo In Guk And Jung So Min Crack Up Over Her Selfie Taking Skills While Filming “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”

Watch: Seo In Guk And Jung So Min Crack Up Over Her Selfie Taking Skills While Filming “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”

Seo In Guk and Jung So Min can’t stop laughing behind the scenes of “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.”

The mystery melodrama is about Kim Moo Young (played by Seo In Guk), a dangerous man who is described as a monster, Yoo Jin Kang (played by Jung So Min), a woman who holds the same scars as Moo Young, and Jin Kang’s brother Jin Kook (Park Sung Woong), a detective who faces off against Moo Young.

In the clip, Seo In Guk and Jung So Min act out the part where she visits his house. His character Kim Moo Young made mille-feuille nabe (Japanese hot pot) for her character Yoo Jin Kang. He tries to eat, but she stops him and takes out her phone to take pictures. First, she takes a picture of the dish and then she takes a photo with him.

Seo In Guk takes one look at the photo and chuckles. Curious, Jung So Min steals a glance and screams, “Wait!” He gets up first, but she grabs him in time, and they both burst into laughter. Jung So Min can’t stop laughing as she shows the crew the ridiculous photo she took. Both actors came out blurry in the picture, and she looks as if she’s spacing out.

Jung So Min takes a photo of Seo In Guk again and shows the director who ends up laughing as well. Jung So Min starts squealing, and Seo In Guk compares her laughter to the sound of a whistling teapot. The bottom caption reads, “Please stop Jin Kang.”
