Honestly, if not for Chairman's betrayal, I really could see his wife and WooHyun getting along well like god-mother and god-son. WooHyun understands her hurt because of him and his mother. They're the same kind of people. 

 

He says he's not interested in the internal politics and just doesn't want YooJung to hurt because of him anymore and Wife agrees to settle the case if only for both him and her son. But SeHyeon sees WooHyun with his mother and jealously tells her to just do as the Chairman wants because he's not interested in fighting anymore. But Mom refuses to let him lose what is his anyway. Why are Chaebol families all so screwed up?

 

Meh, I have a bad feeling, given how Kang HyeJoo has the pictures of WooHyun and YooJung being all lovey-dovey and sending them to Manager. The reporter with her also has a really strong motive in breaking our love birds apart because then he'll get the exclusive of WooHyun and Kang HyeJoo's "engagement".

 

WooHyun seems to really have had enough of Kang HyeJoo though. Like... how dare you touch my girl.

JaeKyung shows YooJung the pictures of her and WooHyun and asks how long they're going to hide it for. She admits that WooHyun is a good person, but they can't. YooJung is at her wits end and Dad notes that the reports are strongly against (whatever it is) and tells WooHyun and being unable to be open is hard on the heart.

 

YooJung tells SungHoon that she knows of his feelings, so how can she tell him that she's having it hard because of WooHyun.

 

WooHyun collapses because of "Lovesickness" according to his childish colleague, who also encourages him to just throw a fit and do whatever it is for once, LOL.

 

YooJung's got him beat though, because she's on her air-yoga thing swearing to eat her sandwich and get fat. SungHoon finds her secretly packing her bags and finds a letter from her asking (someone) to go to the beach. WooHyun gets an outfit for YooJung and Manager goes crazy with her charge gone missing. 

 

Kang HyeJoo tells Chairman that WooHyun's still with that girl and begs for help. (Really...)

 

Reporter Joo intercepts Kang HyeJoo's reporter and asks if he still has doubts about the couple.

 

WooHyun and YooJung go the beach where YooJung asks if he'll still love her even if she's lost everything and WooHyun swears upon the sky and upon the land that he'll never change.

i love how this drama has not much of long duplicity and secrets. sure there are lots of issues arising as the episode goes along but the protagonists and their allies are open with each other. they talk things out instead of dragging it for long. i suppose that is the reason why i find Fluttering Warning so refreshing. It's familiar without being run of the mill. 

 

highlight:

- thank heavens CWH's mom got her head straight.

- YYJ despite being innocent and naive has actually shown depth and humility. 

- Finally a real namja who does not give up easily. 

- YYJ manager being real to her priorities and always looking for YYJ's best interest without being a total psycho

- The antagonist girl being really irritating and desperate is so pathetic I can almost feel for her. So blinded by recognition and one sided love that she is slowly losing her self worth

Yes!  Well-said.  Even though there is unnecessary trouble all around them, the leads are open with one another.  I like that.

First of all...Thank you all for the live recap!!! I always appreciate Y'all and all those still images Y'all posted.  I so love this forum!

I'm not going to watch the latest episode because I know I'll be crying and would want to throw my computer down...lol.  Plus its Thanksgiving, so time to eat and be merry and not to cry.  Y'all recap will get me through next week!

 

I learned from the very beginning not to pay attention to the ratings.  I love YEH and all the movies and series she did.  

Plus, how can they show this at that late time slot?! On a working / School days too! Everyone would be zonked out by 9 pm.  Tsk tsk tsk.

So, the ratings are just a bunch of ****   I just throw it outside my window and enjoy this wonderful series.

 

Honestly, I don't know much about the main guy, but watching this series, OMG...I'm hooked on him.  I want to have a man like that!!! I think he is my favorite leading man with YEH to this date.  Love his character in the series and the way he delivers it is just swoon-worthy. 

I do love the character development on each one.  I think once they have this hurdle fixed, another hurdle that involves her father will be next.

 

Again, thank you everyone for all your posts!!! I'll be lurking here and there...hehehehe...then posting my thoughts.

This is a tricky question since I'm sure the answer varies depending on who you talk to. I am a parent and for me, I always want what is best for my children because I love them. I think different people will have different opinions about what is considered "what's best" and even children will at times agree and disagree with their parents on what they consider is best for them. 

 

I think CWH's mother thinks that CWH being heir to Cheogo Group, having some form of relationship with his biological father and being married to an equally powerful family is what is best for him. CWH obviously doesn't agree and here is where we see an example of parent and child disagreeing on what is considered "best" or "good". And sometimes, parents will force their opinion on their child because the child is unable to see for him/herself what is good/best for him/her.

 

What parents think is best/good for their children varies too. Some parents put their kids into good schools and encourage them to get good grades and be number 1 in class because to those parents, a good education provides their children a better chance at securing a better job for themselves in the future which will then mean that their children can enjoy a more comfortable life.

 

Our backgrounds play a role too. In developing countries where good jobs are scarce and there's a lot of competition, it is only natural for parents to want to put their kids in the top schools and have them strive to perform better because again, it gives the child a better chance at a better future. 

 

A parent may push a child on a certain path because they want something better for their children. For example, my parents didn't have a lot growing up and they didn't make a lot of money themselves so they did everything they could to guide us towards paths and choices that they felt would benefit us in the future.

 

I agree that not all parents are selfless and there are those who do certain things to their advantage. But I do believe that there are parents who truly love their children and will do anything and everything to make sure their children grow up happy, fulfilled and good people.

I am talking about this segment only.

 

What is it that drives a "parent" to go so unconditional in love as compared to any other kid (even if brother's or sister's kid vs your own)? - the only tie is blood..

and I am hypothesizing (of course only a psychologist can share observations because again not perfect science or solid stand) there is some subconscious aspect of extended identity which would then make it potentially not so selfless

@ktcjdrama & @xxPeepsxx  Thanks for the recaps.. I've been in and out of the thread all day and just really got the chance to read about this episode..

I also would like to see her left at the altar.. As of now she really can't announce there engagement.. I think they wil set him up to come to a wedding and find out it's his.. Maybe Dad will also go and register his marriage without him knowing.. I like it if she did announce it only to find out that he and YY is already a married couple but cold CHW will let them go all the way only to tell them all (The weddding guess that he's already married so don't have designs on him.. This happen in a drama I seen before.. Groom gets all dress up walk into the venue only to tell all those guess that he's already married and have a 6yr son) Now he rock that scene.. 

How can CHW dad won't him to marry a girl that she can't even win a peep at him.. This women has no self worth if she has to ask Dad for help I mean they not married and she's already begging for help as if CHW is cheating on her.. He hould tell her himself that she's not worthy to her family and not worthy to him..(This is a sign of she'll be begging for his help all the time.. What FIL wants a DIL that can't defend herself ) She should be trying to win CHW heart instead of trying to force his hand..I think CHW gave her some choice words.. I hope CHw told her he'll announce her deeds pubically.. This could be why she's asking for help.. He has threaten her before telling her he'll except the position with the exception he don't marry her.. OUCH..    

 

I see him getting real sick of her he will stop seing YY for a while just to get rid of her since she seems to not understand the meaning of NO.. Even if he's force to breakup with YY and he knows it's because of her he'll never marry her or be with her not even date her.. @Ameera Ali No Jones wasn't getting any younger also, But she did live a life that she could provide for herself..( But she did land herself a Man Without asking for help) This girl wants to live with the customs and more.. I tell you I almost wish they would get married and she has to live like a real house wife that has to cook and clean.. etc.. She wouldn't stand a chance after the honeymoon period and she finds out theres no maids and has to do things herself she'll be running to divorce court so quick it would make your head spin.. (Her version for a divorce, He said I was the housekeeper and his rice cooker)

@angelangie  She is trying to get her own man is just she don't know how to go about getting him.. She was doomed from the beginning when she first tried to get his attention in the lobby.. I tell you how can you get a man to notice you with that big ball sitting on the top of your head.. Also the way she was dressed looks like she could have been a senior in high school or a freshman in college.  Her dress attire made her look as if her mom still shops for her..  If she was a confident woman or have had past relationship with other guy's.. She would have known off the bat it will take a lot more to get his attention regardless to what family they both belong to and had herself well prepared before the second date when they formally meet..

  Thanks for the translation.  I tried to watch ep 8 but there were no English subs. With this translation i now understand that our OTP have chosen to stay together (even though there was news of their break-up)!  Yeyyy ...... i'm loving them even more for choosing to stay together instead of going through an extended break up like the other kdramas out there and only getting back together for the last 4-5 episodes of the drama!  The villains can do all the evil stuff villains do and i'll still be happy as long as the Milk couple continue seeing each other even though in hiding.  What i really want to happen very soon is for YYJ to mend fences with her father and introduce CWH.  It's kind of hypocritical of her to push CWH to make amends with his mom when she herself is staying estranged with her dad.
