YOON SHI-YOON CONFIRMS TO STAR IN UPCOMING SBS DRAMA

Actor Yoon Shi-Yoon chose to star in the upcoming SBS drama ‘Dear Judge’ as his next piece following the end of ‘Grand Prince.’

His agency reported, “Yoon Shi-Yoon received the casting offer for ‘Dear Judge’ and is currently reviewing with positive outlook. While we still have to make some adjustments, we are leaning towards ‘yes.'”

 

‘Dear Judge’ will tell a story about identical twins, Han Su-Ho and Han Kang-Ho, who live completely different lives. Yoon Shi-Yoon received the offer to play in the role of both Han Su-Ho and Han Kang-Ho.

‘Dear Judge’ will premiere in July, following the end of ‘Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum.’

Yoon Si Yoon will be playing two roles in a new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama.

 

He'll be playing identical twins Han Su Ho and Han Kang Ho, and this will be his first time trying out two roles in one drama. Han Su Ho is a 'computer judge' who has never broken out of the standard. Han Kang Ho is a 6-time criminal who sits in for his twin brother when he suddenly disappears.

Yoon Si-Yoon is cast in SBS drama series “Dear Judge” (literal title). in the drama series, Yoon Si-Yoon will play two characters who are identical twins. One of the brothers is a respected judge, but goes missing. His identical twin brother, who has an extensive criminal record, secretly takes his place as a judge.

“Dear Judge” first airs July, 2018 in South Korea.

Unconfirmed but one source says it's 32 Episodes long.  Although it could be one of those split dramas with 16 Episodes but 2 per broadcasting day (as per the Asian Wiki page) which is why 32?  (Thanks @icemaid for that little tidbit).

SBS dramas usually have split episodes per broadcasting day so it should be 16 episodes in the usual drama count system.

 

 

Yoon Shi Yoon is off filming for Law of the Jungle. Hopefully when he is back, the remaining cast can be confirmed and filming of Dear Judge can commence soon since its air-date is in July.

Lee Yoo Young To Join Yoon Shi Yoon As Female Lead In New SBS Drama

Lee Yoo Young has been confirmed as the female lead of SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Dear Judge” (working title) alongside Yoon Shi Yoon.

 

As the follow-up drama to “The Undateables,” “Dear Judge” will be a legal drama that attempts to bridge the gap between what people believe to be justice and what justice really looks like in the courtroom. It was confirmed earlier this month that Yoon Shi Yoon will be playing twin brothers in the drama. He will play both Han Soo Ho, the older brother who is a judge, and and Han Kang Ho, the younger brother who takes over his brother’s job after his sibling mysteriously disappears.

A source from SBS confirmed reports on May 18 that Lee Yoo Young has been cast as the female lead alongside Yoon Shi Yoon. They went on to state that she will play the role of a student in the Judicial Research and Training Institute who values the dignity of humans over the law. She gets to know Han Soo Ho as she completes her training in his department..

“Dear Judge” is set to air in July.

Hello Venus member and actress Nara has been confirmed for a new drama!

 

Nara will appear in SBS’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Dear Judge” (working title) and will be joining Lee Yoo Young and Yoon Shi Yoon as the newest member of the cast.

 

“Dear Judge” will be a legal drama that shows the difference between justice in a courtroom and the people’s definition of justice.

 

Yoon Shi Yoon will be playing the role of twin brothers and judges Han Soo Ho and Han Kang Ho, while Lee Yoo Young will portray a student in the Judicial Research and Training Institute.

 

Nara will appear as an announcer named Joo Eun Yeok who’s just starting to become more experienced at her job. She is also Han Soo Ho’s girlfriend who gets to know Han Kang Ho.

Nara made her debut as an actress by appearing as a prosecutor in SBS’s “Suspicious Partner.” She most recently portrayed a movie actress in tvN’s “My Ahjussi.”

 

A source from the drama said, “Nara debuted as an actress through an SBS drama and decided to appear in ‘Dear Judge’ as she establishes herself as an idol-actress. Please look forward to Nara who will show more mature acting than before.”

 

“Dear Judge” will premiere sometime in July.
