I always loved the way Max would jump on top of Tul on the bed.You always knew who the "boss" was. Now if we get some of that between Ae and Pete that would be icing on the cake.

Hi guys - of course and gals  
I'm new to this group and this forum  
But in short i recently started watching Love by Chance and it kept my eye-balls glued to the screen.  When i stumbled upon this group, it just made sense. 

Hope i can contribute to the conversations.

 C'mon in..the water is fine. I'd suggest that you get a spare pair of eyeballs..cause it's only Episode 4...we have a long way to go

Wooow! 15 takes! Even they were (supposedly) really in love, it was more a hard work than a pleasure party.  Sometimes, to be actor is not an easy way!

Most actors especially male ones say that it's "tough" when they have a kissing scene. I don't know why. They all have their eyes closed during the kiss. 

 

Yes, teen-age impulse is sometimes "impossible" to control! Pond is the best exemple, but it seems to be an exceptionnal case!

I remember to already discuss this point into Soompi forum or Pink Milk one, why actors close eyes for kiss. I think to three possibilities:

1-too much light in their eyes

2-be in very close contact don't allow a clear vision, so better close eyes

3-better close eyes and think to kiss your girl-friend, than a male you are not attracted with, just an actor's colleague

but you can add here if you have other options!

Totally agreed! Ae is more protective than possessive (maybe a little too much), as Kim Soo-Lee said, he have lot of thing to learn, but as a "rookie", it seems to be in the perfect line with Pete. Love him first, the rest is just the rest, it doesn't matter! He have to cross the river and there is no special bridge for him. As into every love, there will be hard moment, that made the salt of every life. We will see with next eps how he will manage and improve his new status.

Some of you may be happy to know that a Wattpadder is planning to translate Love By Chance (I forgot the original name of the book) on Wattpad. He's only put up an intro page that I saw. Some of you may know DarkLord or ChrisSakett. He did some translation for 2 Moons when it was airing.

IMHO, the role of an actor is to convince me ( the viewer) that what you are saying or doing is real. Some of these actors are so young and have not had the experience they are attempting to demonstrate. Those actors who can step out of their personal selves and make it happen are impressive.For instance, I was reading an interview with the actors from CTL. Both are in relationships having gf's...and they said they just imagine it was their gf's they were kissing - yeah eyes were closed...but darn they went all in...that's acting no matter the motivation.

If you write - you know every character has to have a fatal flaw...an imperfection that creates dissonance and something he (she) has to overcome.  I see this extreme possesiveness/jealousy in  Ae as something that creates conflict and as something he has to overcome.  Pete's flaw is his " doormat" personae - I'm waiting to see him bust out of that.  And clearly ( for me ),  if that isn't resolved before  consummation - it only gets worse after...then you move into the land of " you're mine "...

Probably not! My understanding was that the author wasn't allowing the novel to be translated. At least not at this point in time. Maybe sometime in the future.

I've been reading the comments and it seems he is doing it on request of his followers. If that's the case then it's definitely not with permission. That is unless he intends to seek it out. He wouldn't be the only one I'm sure.  Love By Chance is highly requested now. I often wonder how many translators on Wattpad are doing so legally? I need to look at copyright laws because are books the same as a piece of art and if you acknowledge the owner and make no claims to the novel does that make it ok? I'm always confused about this.

Like you i'm hoping to see some change in Pete over the coming weeks and i'm confident we will. I think we saw a little bit of a push back on Trump but not enough. 

 

I want Pete to look Trump straight in the eye and then hit him straight in his "jelly beans" when he's not looking. I think that would get the point across.

Any kind of intellectual property no matter what, books, arts, music etc is covered by copyright law. Local and International. A lot of people have been caught as copyright enforcement is getting better and better everyday, especially on the internet where the software to check up on those things is getting more sophisticated. If i was him i would try and contact the author and plead his case and get permission in writing. If he gets that, then he's good to go.
