Plot:

Jang Ki Yong And Jin Ki Joo Confirmed As Leads In New Drama

Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo are starring in a drama together!

On March 23, a source from MBC’s upcoming drama “Come Hug Me” (literal translation) announced that Heo Joon Ho, Jang Ki Yong, and Jin Ki Joo have been confirmed as leads. The three actors will begin filming soon.

“Come Hug Me” follows the unfortunate fate of a man and woman whose lives are affected by a murder in the past. The drama will have elements of romance between Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo, but it will also tell their story of trying to overcome the inevitable challenges that life throws at them.

Jang Ki Yong will play a policeman, and Jin Ki Joo will play a character that tries to live a cheerful life after losing her parents at an early age.

“Come Hug Me” is scheduled to air in mid-May after “Hold Me Tight” comes to and.

[헤럴드POP=이혜랑기자] 오는 5월 중순 첫 방송을 앞두고 있는 ‘이리와 안아줘’의 주연 3인 캐스팅이 확정됐다. 이미 업계에서 입소문이 난 탄탄한 대본의 주인공은 허준호-장기용-진기주가 꿰찼다. 연출을 맡은 최준배 감독의 굳은 신뢰를 바탕으로 레전드와 신예의 만남이 성사돼 올봄 뜨거운 이슈를 불러일으킬 것으로 기대를 모은다. 

MBC 새 수목드라마 ‘이리와 안아줘’(극본 이아람 / 연출 최준배 / 제작 이매진아시아, 컴퍼니 칭) 측은 23일 “배우 허준호-장기용-진기주가 주인공 3인방으로 캐스팅이 확정돼 조만간 촬영에 돌입한다”고 밝혔다. 

‘이리와 안아줘’는 한 살인사건으로 인해 엇갈린 삶을 살게 된 남녀의 기구한 운명을 그리며, 불완전한 관계 속에서 희망을 찾아가는 사람들의 이야기를 다룬다. 두 남녀 주인공의 설레는 로맨스는 물론, 불가항력적인 사건들 속에서도 살아남아 삶에 최선을 다하는 이들의 얘기를 담는다. 그럼에도 불구하고 행복해지려고 하는 사람들의 이야기다.  

포근한 봄바람과 함께 시청자들을 찾아올 MBC 새 수목드라마 ‘이리와 안아줘’에서 허준호와 장기용-진기주의 만남이 성사됐다. 믿고 보는 배우 허준호와 최근 가장 핫한 라이징 스타 장기용과 진기주, 세 사람의 이름만으로도 드라마에 대한 기대와 관심이 증가하고 있다.  

‘이리와 안아줘’에서 허준호는 남녀 주인공 사이의 ‘키맨 역할’이자 극에 등장하는 중요한 사건의 장본인으로 소름 연기의 진수를 보여줄 예정이다. 연출을 맡은 최준배 감독은 “무조건 허준호 선배님만 생각했고 삼고초려 끝에 모셨다”면서 허준호가 후배들을 이끌며 작품의 든든한 버팀목 역할을 해줄 것에 대한 기대를 드러냈다.  

남자 주인공인 경찰대 출신 경위 채도진은 전작 드라마 ‘고백부부’를 통해 수려한 외모와 듬직한 선배 면모로 여심을 흔들었던 신예 장기용이 맡았다. ‘이리와 안아줘’를 통해 처음으로 주연 자리를 꿰찬 장기용에 대해 최준배 감독은 “장기용과 수차례 미팅을 하면서 가능성을 봤다”고 말하며 큰 신임을 드러냈다. 

그리고 장기용과 설레는 로맨스를 그려 나갈 여자 주인공은 영화와 드라마를 넘나들며 종횡무진 활약하고 있는 대세 중의 대세 진기주가 꿰찼다. 진기주는 최근 드라마 ‘미스티’에서 강렬한 존재감을 발휘하며 시청자들에게 확실한 눈도장을 찍은 바 있다. 그녀는 ‘이리와 안아줘’에서 어린 시절 부모를 잃은 아픔을 딛고 당차고 명랑하게 새로운 삶을 살아가는 유명 배우로 변신, 차세대 멜로 퀸의 자리를 넘볼 것으로 기대를 더한다.  

허준호를 중심으로 남녀 주인공인 장기용과 진기주가 어떤 이야기를 그려 나갈지 궁금증이 커지고 있는 상황. 또한 시작부터 캐스팅에 공을 들이며 탄탄한 대본과 팀워크, 가능성으로 중무장해 관심을 모은다. 

‘이리와 안아줘’ 측은 “허준호-장기용-진기주의 만남을 기대하셔도 좋다. 신구의 조화가 잘 어우러져 큰 시너지 효과를 낼 것”이라면서 “앞으로 얽히고설킨 세 사람의 이야기가 조금씩 공개될 예정이니 첫 방송까지 많은 관심과 기대를 보내 주시 길 바란다”고 전했다.  

한편, ‘이리와 안아줘’는 ‘손 꼭 잡고, 지는 석양을 바라보자’ 후속으로 오는 5월 중순 첫 방송될 예정이다.

Looking forward to this - only f/Jang Ki-Young though he's movin' on up I see...from supporting roles to lead wow pretty impressive. He started off as a model to appearing in IU's MVs & is doin' a fine job portraying a damaged thug in My Mister (again with IU) 

The female lead did OK on Misty & a few other dramas. Anyways it'd be interesting to see their chemistry unfold.

 Nam Da Reum! My favorite child actor who's a teen now! He's going to play the younger version of the lead. I'll wait for that day when NDR  is like 18 yrs old and gets his first ever lead role and not just a always a younger version. lead stars He's really good ( just like  that other child star Heo Jeung Eun).
