The feet may be the least appreciated body part. Theoretically, feet are supposed to be far cleaner than hands, but that’s not what it feels like. While the feet ⓐbear the weight of the body all day long, even ⓑtheir owner rarely appreciates their service. ⓒ

However, movies and television shows sometimes project ⓓromantic or erotic fantasies about feet. Secretly touching another person under the table with ⓔone’s foot is a typical scene suggesting an extramarital affair, eroticism or a tryst. In the movie “Bungee Jumping of Their Own,” Lee Byung-hun ties Lee Eun-ju’s shoelaces, and it became a textbook romantic scene. In “The Contact,” Jeon Do-yeon has a crush on her friend’s fiance and secretly tries on his shoes. On the latest hit television drama on SBS, “You Came From the Stars,” high heels appear as an important prop.

The poster of 2000 movie 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own' starring Lee Byung Hun and the late Lee Eun Joo was featured in the SBS drama 'Angel Eyes' aired on Saturday, April 26.

If not mistaken it was during the childhood scenes. The SBS weekend drama seems to be highlighting the influence from the romantic film in quite a number of the flashback scenes.

Captures from SBS drama 'Angel Eyes; in which 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own' featured as the first date movie during the teenage years of the lead couple. Apart from the choice of movie and poster shown, the references whether direct or indirectly were mostly quite subtle but anyone who had seen the movie would notice them. The writer mostly likely a fan of Bungee Jumping of Their Own. :)

Bungee Jumping of Their Own on Angel Eyes ep 6
It's kinda strange that the movie was shown at the theaters again after 12 years (maybe there was a re-screening or rerun period) -- can't have too much logic watching Kdramas. ^^ Initially thought it was all a flashback moment but certainly the writer must have loved BJOTO to highlight the same movie quite extensively in an important scene.
