What happened when she transformed back to a human form was even funnier, of course.... now i'll just need to finish this and get the girls to edit and I can move on to number FOUR, that's where we see that scene! Three is pretty easy to translate as it's in a child's pov hahahah. He has much simpler thoughts.

 

Also Tang Qi is very clever, she embedded the fact that the reason Dong Hua didn't immediately recognise BGG as his son at the close of the Pillow Book and in the outtake was because, there were other gods/immortals/demons/monsters that had silver hair.

BGG buttered up DH and he sort of melted, even agreed that a son as good-looking as he is can only be fathered by him.

It's a kind of pampering, but also the pleasure coming from having a partner who knows you enough that they can correctly anticipate things you like, require, or need.

Yes. It demonstrates FJ cares enough to notice DH's likes and dislikes, and she wants to make sure his needs are met. FJ could have easily let someone else do it but she wants to do it herself. On the other hand, DH is showing FJ how much he trust her, by letting her touch his private processions.

 

This is DH and FJ's love language. It does not mean other couples will feel the same. It really depends on the individuals preference.

Because by doing so she is showing love and care to her hubby. I used to do that for my then boyfriend now husband who frequently flies overseas for work. He loved it for the same reason as Di Jun.

I was better around a week ago. I took an entire week of work the week before that. Thanks everyone for their kind regards.
 

I really love sharing our translation work. Our blog was a labour of love so we will always update it with such goodies.

Hmm, I sorta wondered this too, it's not explicitly mentioned, but chapter 8 does say that DH did have about 20 loyal generals when he helped Moyuan in the war, so who knows, perhaps Menghao really was one of them.

Meng Hao would surely be in other wars with DH if he wasn't in that 700 years war led by Mo Yuan. How sad he would have been though if he lived long enough to know how that claw was used against the one who bestowed it.

FJ is a strong and sensible character. It is great DH is attuned to her needs. 

 

DH is so literal when it comes to giving out nicknames. No wonder the couple stuck with the name BGG for their son.

Yes, I really wish they have that 200 days ceremony. But you are right she is so sensible and no one but her can only be DH's Dihou. I had not realised she didn't even have a chance to wear the beautiful wedding gown.  

 

I am still mad at JH. She should be reborn as animal instead of human.  

 

Might I ask what does Gun Gun mean? I have seen people mention both Ali and Gun Gun names are not good but why they are not good?
