I personally didn't hear of the special scene you mentioned; could you be reffering to the short story/talk between (if my memory serves me right) Si Ming and Zhong Lin?

That has already been translated and can be found 50 pages back or so. Or be patient a little longer and read all in the upcomming blog.

The third sequel but it is very different from the books? The 3rd book is LianSong&Chengyu.The 4th book is Moyuan&a girl from Demon Clan.

But where do these ZheYan and XuanNu reappear again after being gone in the pillow book.N the actor who played ZheYan in Ten Miles of peach blossoms played YanChiWu in Pillow Book. N he and Jiheng r a couple now.I just hope Fengjiu and DongHua's wedding will be shown and their life will be shown even if it is just a little and BaiGunGun and their new little princess as well.I just hope they will get supporting roles for the third sequel and they both will accept it.N YangMi for cameo.

这事发生在凤九醒来后不久。

This matter happened shortly after Feng Jiu woke up.

司命找重霖打探事情。

Si Ming approached Zhong Lin to to make a discreet inquiry.

司命：重霖大人，听说帝君打算为凤九殿下补办婚宴？

Si Ming: Zhong Lin, I heard Di Jun is planning a make up wedding feast for Her Highness, Feng Jiu?

重霖：没错。

Zhong Lin: That's correct.

司命：还要连贺两百天？

Si Ming: And it will be two hundred days of continuous celebration?

重霖：没错。

Zhong Lin: That's correct.

司命：这是否有些夸张？四海八荒的众位仙者其实也并不是那么闲，能日日去赴他老人家的婚宴啊。

Si Ming: Isn't that a bit extreme? The immortals of the 4 Seas and Eight Realms don't actually have that much free time to attend that old man's wedding every day.

重霖：他老人家其实也不太在乎你们来不来。

Zhong Lin: The old man isn't actually that concerned about whether people will show up or not.

司命：？

Si Ming: ?

重霖：他只在乎这两百年来他花了心思准备的那两百套样式不同风格迥异的婚服，凤九殿下会不会一天一套穿给他看。

Zhong Lin: He only cares about the last 200 years of effort he had painstakingly spent on preparing the 200 different styles and flavour of wedding robes and whether Her Highness, Feng Jiu will wear a different one each day for him to admire.

重霖：我觉得殿下会的。

Zhong Lin: I feel that Her Highness will do it.

Si Ming:...

重霖：殿下傻傻的，帝君说洪荒时代，尊神成亲都是这样的，要连贺两百日，新娘还要换两百套婚服，她真信了。

Zhong Lin: Her Highness is so gullible, Di Jun said that in the era of Great Desolation (洪荒), marriage between the ancient gods were done this way; it must have 200 days of continuous celebration where the bride has to wear 200 different wedding robes. She truly believed him.

司命：……

Si Ming: ...

司命：折颜上神也是洪荒神，就没去提醒一下凤九殿下，揭穿这个谎言？

Si Ming: High God Zhe Yan is also a God from the era of Great Desolation (洪荒), didn't he warn Her Highness, Feng Jiu of the truth and expose the lie?

重霖：没有。

Zhong Lin: He did not.

司命：这不太像是护短的折颜上神啊。

重霖：嗯，大概因为折颜上神还指望着白真上神也能信了这个邪，成亲时也换两百套婚服给他看吧。

Translator's note @Ninky : Zhong Lin's last line is the gist of the joke. He doesn't want the realms to know the real truth behind the 200 day wedding and says it indirectly (不太好的解读). Which is why I phrased the translation this way, to try to invoke the same meaning. The joke is the way Zhong Lin says it. That is anyone outside of my palace misinterprets (as in actually knowing the truth), he will hold Si Ming responsible.

I personally don't think it will be a part/continuation of the 3L3W series if they do decide to make the drama. But who knows? I do think Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen deserve their own story... However I prefer to wait for TQ's, if she does decide to write their story.

If this fanfiction will be made into a drama, I'll just pretent it's unrelated to the 3L3W universe. 

Even so, there is talks about the actress who portrayed Xuan Nu to play a lead but nothing about the character Xuan Nu. (She's dead and not likely to return- thank heavens!)

I am reading the ePub version of 3L3W The Pillow Book, Chapter 6 ends with FJ (as the baby fox) leaving the Sky Kingdom after nearly being killed by JH's snow lion but then it suddenly jumps to Part 2 - Fanyin Valley in Chapter 7 with FJ waiting for DJ to come save her. The entire set up and handkerchief part is missing. Do I have a bad copy of the book? Has anyone seen this? Thanks

it is under part 1 Chapter 3. Chapter 1 started from Bai Qian wedding.

 

the way TQ wrote in this book used a lot of recalling techniques, whereas the drama we watched has made the events in chronological timeline.

Yeah, the book can be hard to follow. 

 

 

Omg, this while scene is so cute.

CY's shy/embarrassed expression is adorable. AR is so bold! It's like stereotype gender actions swapped around.

Vengo and Reba acted well in this scene. I still wish AR and CY had a happy ending, even though they had to suffer for DH and FJ to be together. Someone please write a happy ending for them!

 

In reflection, none of the characters in Fan Ying Valley had a happy ending.

Day after “consumation” did you notice how DH looked fresh.. it seems like “consumation” its same for him growing cultivation for him..

Her EQ is much higher then any one around her! I loved how she had self confidence and awareness, direct when she had to be. She would be a good fit for Yan Chi.

 Lol. He was absolutely glowing. 

No wonder he didn't want to sleep to cultivate. He has found a much better alternative!

The morning after scene gave me diabetes from all the sugar overload. Not that I am complaining.

@ChibiLy Hope Jielu also gets her own story.  She has a crush with XY but even if she hears all the time how XY liked JH, or even that FJ was chased by her previous crush DH, Jielu did not turn petty or mean. Definitely a very good monarch in the making, since she remains rational and still quite sure of herself.

They would be great couple indeed..he is so childish, stubborn, pure hearted..she is more mature but also stubborn..there would be fire between them...how to get rid of JH, why didnt ML eat her ilke other demons???we have to activate ML again just to get rid of her..

One of the nice changes in the series, IMO.  Actually, if they did it as in the book, it would be awesome too. However, DH pranking her changes the dynamics. DH is interested with FJ.  And he only jokes with how many immortals other than Si Ming and Lian Song, maybe also Chong Lin?  That early, she's already part of that "special circle". 

 

XY would be having his own story. In the books, he won't be ending up with JH.

If only ML did it! That would save alot of heartaches and stress. Really, JH is so self centered and insecure, that she totally disregards everyone else's needs. 

 

That is an interesting change in episode 24. I interpret that as DH already taken an interest in FJ and is actively seeking her attention in his own shameless ways.

It also pains me to think how DH was thinking of FJ during their separation, and he coped by designing wedding dresses for her.
