I watched all 4 episodes last night. Loved the expansion of YQT storyline, love a pinning second lead 

 

Thank god the consummation is a dream. I really liked the moment  underground where FJ leaned into the emperor’s hand like a fox. It was so cute!
 

Didn’t quite enjoy FJ being imprisoned but thankfully YQT to the rescue! And it didn’t drag for episodes.

I detect no awkwardness on Vengo part. Reba usually also good at kissing scenes actually...

Reba character as Xiaojiu have to restrain and resist..maybe that's why she was not really reciprocated well.. bc Song Xuanren is not DH.

I liked the way Xuanren rubbed Xiao Jiu on the nose and is that a bit of his inner Dijun cuz in one of trailers, Dijun does the same in Aranya’s dream lol

She was thinking while he was kissing in the emperor’s tomb and I kinda don’t want her to respond to Xuanren as much as I am loving his love sick antics. I want that with the real Dijun lol

E24 preview - The scene where Si Ming is gossiping about someone liking FJ's 4th uncle (Bai Zhen) during BQ's wedding ceremony and FJ emerges (but not out of the water, unlike the novel) to find out more about the gossip. True to the book, Dijun doesn't even give her a second glance...

 

(ooh, I can't wait for next week. But looks like most of the fun will be in the week of Feb 13-15)

 

 

@Sisca_TVXQ   Can you (or anyone else) explain the meaning for the final sentence that Dijun uttered? Based on Wetv translation, it says "As the Princess of QingQiu, it is appropriate for Dijun to escort the bride back to heaven". Is that translation right? Is he referring to BQ of FJ?

The reason I am asking is that what he says has no linkage with the previous sentence which was her question as to whether another person was really interested in her 4th uncle... rather disjointed (unless they snipped something in between).

I think the translation should be: "There is no one more appropriate to welcome the escort party than the Princess of QingQiu."

 

Since was supposed to be BQ's wedding to YH then, and they (DH, SM n LS) were part of the entourage to escort the bride to the heavenly court

So I guess his sentence was referring to FJ being BQ's niece so FJ coming to welcome them is reasonable hahah

 

Dunno if that made sense *lol* I think the sentence also refers back to LS'S question of why she came out if she was eavesdropping earlier

I think he just want to get it done and go home LOL 

He doesn't care about their gossip at all, busy sipping his tea like an old man 

 

I'm really glad they show how smart and mature Xiao Jiu is, mommy is proud ~ eat that Jiheng

me too! To be honest I felt the mortal arc is a few eps too long. At this point DongFeng officially meet in eps 24, so almost halfway of the drama. They also still have Aranya dream arc to go through.

So I'm anticipating eps 25 onwards- can't waiitttt!!!

Yes!! Although I like it it is loong considering the story as starts in the book is starting in episode 25 and we have a lot to go I'm quite worried it's gonna be  a little bit rush , I can't wait episode 25!!!  We all wanted to see fengjiu and donghua
