Yes, the orphanage is what ties all of these main characters together. Everyone working for Big Mouse incl. Big Mouse is from that orphanage. Chang Ho also lived there, and is now being "protected" by them - the same way he looked after them when they were kids. - 6
Maybe. It was already mentioned that Chang Ho and Room Leader were orphans. It's likely that the mayor is an orphan too. Jerry seemed to also have no family except for a "sister" (who btw might be Room Leader's long lost daughter?) - 1
